I had my microblading done by UVO Beauty at their former Elk Grove location. The salon was beautiful, clean, serene, calming, and peaceful. They had a welcoming and lovely environment. The procedure does take time and hurts like no other! Microblading is worth it as it can last a few years! The pain from the needle can be crazy! They use a numbing cream, but apparently it didn't work as well as it should for me. No matter how much numbing cream they used, I could feel every prick of the needle. My results never looked as clear and sharp as you see on social media! My results look a little smudged. I don't see the individual "hairs" as you see in the pictures online. However, from afar, my brows do look okay. For some reason, I feel like the healing time much longer for me. You have to let your brows scab over and not pick them! It is so difficult not to want to remove the scabs, but let them fall off on their own! If I had the time and money, I would consider keeping up with microblading. As for my appointments, every single appointment I had, the technician was running late! read more

I have gone three times so far, once for Botox and the second and third times for fillers to fill in divots in my chin and smile lines. I am ecstatic. I was nervous about bringing up the divots because I didn't think anything could be done but she walked me through it and showed me before and after pictures of another customer. Her work was so amazing I had to trust her. I can not believe how filled in they are and how smooth and plump my face looks. I am definitely going to continue to trust my face to UVO. UVO Beauty's Instagram page had been popping up on my feed so I decided to give them a try after my usual lash tech had moved. They were running a Groupon deal for a classic full set and 2 week fill and offered it at a really great price. Scheduling was easy using their online booking system (note: they honor their Groupon prices if you call them!). UVO Beauty Sacramento is located on Howe Ave. Easy to find and lots of parking. The salon is clean and customer service is great. I was greeted by Linh (one of the owners) who checked me in and had me wait in the lobby until it was time for my appointment. My lashes were done by Shay. We decided on a classic set with a mix of C and D curls and she decided to do varying lengths for a more natural look. The process for a whole set took about an hour and a half. The results were amazing! I am partial to the lash extension styles that can be found in Asia - thin, natural, featherlight. With this being said Shay & UVO Beauty totally delivered! They gave me "my lashes but better." Extremely natural and almost undetectable, which was the look I wanted. Lash placement and isolation were on point. Meticulous and careful. A+ work! I opted for the classic set, but they also offer other styles of lash extensions. Be sure to talk to your lash tech to figure out your likes and dislikes. Overall, I am very pleased with my lash set from Shay and UVO Beauty & excited to see them again for my fill. Since this place is really close to my work, I decide to give them a chance, but I've never seen them really open. Their sign is always off. Anyhow, I requested an appointment. Nobody got back to me for two weeks and then I went back inside and they request another appointment. Finally a lady got back to me. I asked her is specifically that I want to get Botox get the Botox Was quoted as nine dollars a unit. Anyhow I got like 40 units came out to $350 and I went home and I waited for whole week and nothing showed up. Nothing came up and when I reached out to her she said that she put something else called dry swore or something that I she said it's a different type of Botox but I did my research and it said it's a different it's a different whole different chemical thing that that I didn't even know about so nothing came up nothing showed up I'm still the same. I first got microblading eyebrows in LA with a well known microblading lady, So I was a bit nervous trying out with someone new. But Vi was phenomenal! Last year I took an online Microblading course with Scalpa. I "graduated" and was emailed a certificate. I really thought I knew what I was doing. I did 4 sets of brows and decided I wanted to put my Microblading career on hold. I've been in touch with UVO since last September. I'm very glad I decided to go with Uyen because out of all the courses offered in the Sacramento and the surrounding areas she is the only one who offers 4 days of internship! Almost all the other courses I was looking into were 1-2 days, and the Instructor would work on a model (not the student) so once again, no hands on training for me if I went with anyone but UVO. Uyen was amazing! She is a great teacher, very thorough while teaching and truly wants you to succeed. You have to pass an exam in order too! It seems that a lot of companies want your money and then pass you off so they can get on the their next training class but this is not the case with UVO. Uyen was with me every step of the way with each model I brought in which made me feel confident because I know everyone I brought in would be leaving with a beautiful set of brows.
