Eat24 order and delivery was smooth and pleasant. On time arrival and confirmation call prior, very organized. I am not a fan of sandwiches in general, but their grilled cheese is killer. It's made with large slabs of sour dough bread, pressed so the cheese oozes out the sides, and is presented well in the box with a side of garlic waffle fries. Cheese steak sammies are absolutely huge and can definitely be shared or eaten for a couple meals. Garlic waffle fries are definitely a crowd pleaser, and they come with sides of ranch dressing and ketchup, which pleases just about everyone. With our delivery order, we were given a free side of zucchini sticks and ranch dressing, and two cans of Coke. Very generous business. There's a small seating area and the owner/employees are genuinely polite & friendly. A nice combination like that goes along with their dyn-O-mite product. Huge, juicy, and flavorful sandwiches here. Don't forget their crispy waffle fries, along with a soft drink. That is a wonderful thing. I used to work nearby, but no longer. I have a hole in my food heart whenever I get the craving for a cheese steak sando and think of V Café. Let me just say, I entered this place on a whim. I passed by on my way to another place, found out it was permanently closed, and walked back to my car. On my way to the car, however, the pictures of the Philly Cheese Steaks caught my eye. I was hooked. I don't know how biased this review is, because I've never been here sober. With that said, V Cafe is great after a night out when you're not sober. Their cheesesteaks: It might seem a little pricey for a sandwich, but keep in mind that it's a 12" roll so the portion size is huge. Both the sweet and hot peppers are great, but definitely go with hot if you enjoy and can handle spice. My one and only gripe about V Cafe is that the bread and cheesesteak filling ratio is a little off. Some bites seem like mostly bread, so there have been a few times when I finish the cheesesteak with a fork and leave some of the bread behind. If they put a little more filling, this review would probably be 5 stars. The garlic waffle fries are a must for anyone who loves garlic. Seriously, they don't skimp on it. It's one of those foods that makes your breath stink even after brushing your teeth. Which is absolutely worth it, unless maybe you have a date first thing in the morning after a night of drinking (but why would you do that to yourself in the first place). The fries themselves are always served freshly fried and piping hot. Will definitely be back for more late night drunchies. read more

Not sure how this place got 4 stars. I've ordered from here 3 times too see if I'm just not ordering the right things. I've tried 3 of their salads, my husband has ordered different types of meals, mostly their cheesesteaks, and we've tried the criss cut fries too. The food here is consistently underwhelming, but maybe it's cause I always order for delivery too. Perhaps they are known for their cheesesteaks but I don't often eat those kinds of unhealthy foods. My husband does and he wasn't gushing about it though. In my experience, the salads area definitely average. Nothing to rave about at all. I actually don't like their sliced chicken and I do love getting extra protein in my salads. I could barely touch a quarter of the salad the other day. My husband said his order was ok as well and offered me his criss cut fries. Honestly, the cross cut fries at Burger King are way better and more crispy than here. This place is not bad, it's just not good either. At least I can say I've tried this place enough times and that I won't be ordering from here again. The cheesesteak was very good, very flavorful. They use a french roll, similar to a banh mi roll so if you are looking for a authentic philly amoroso roll, this isn't it. But it is still delicious all the same. Definitely get the garlic fries. Just enough garlic for it to taste good but not be overwhelming. Crunchy on the outside and hot and fluffy on the inside.
