Not great because it came out and was cold which since its a wood fire pizza i would have expected it to be hot but nope. The ingredients tasted fresh and the sauce was good. Went there a couple of times now so have a good feel for the food, vibe and price vs value. First off the combination of 'family' oriented seating with the Bar Vibe, which has its own entrance, is great, and the outdoor patio is expansive, love that feature! Location is a bit off the beaten path, but if it gets some good marketing going, people will find this place, no problem there. Food I'd say was good. Pizza was average at best, we've tried two and one, the pepperoni had a very soggy crust with a lot of grease under the pie. Not sure if that was one off, or that's the way they always are because of the grease in the meat. But was not that good because of that. The wings, however, are amazing, I can definitely make a meal out of those. Last thing was the bar vibe, which was awesome, a great place to chill, have some wings and beer on tap. I will say that they big letdown here was price. The drafts were mostly $7, and that is a LOT compared to many places we go. Even the Turkey Lounge at Angus Barn is cheaper than this. I think we will have a problem coming back because of this, so I hope they check that and get more market friendly. Way too much for 'normal' brews, and the pizza isn't worth coming back to overpay for the draft beers offered. Again, hope they revisit that or we'll be going elsewhere for craft beer on tap for a much more reasonable $5.50-$6 price point. Sure hope they make it there..... read more

I didn't know what to expect but the wings were cooked to perfection. Nice and moist. Impossible to leave meat on the bone. I jumped out of my comfort zone for the flying Hawaiian and was rewarded greatly. Good pizza. Nice balance of sweet and savory on a pizza. Would recommend. read more

Fresh tasting food, but a bit pricy for what you get. Took about 35 minutes to get our food, so would recommend starting with an appetizer if you're hungry. Sauce for stomboli and calzone was very sweet (though it could be the type of tomatoes). Service was all over the place, it was like they couldn't figure out if they were doing table service or take out only which made the dining experience confusing and scattered. I visited V Pizza in Brier Creek and really enjoyed the food. I tried the Meatball San Marzano and Caprese Plate which were both really good. We have a new date night spot and family night spot! And for me to do my first Yelp post speaks volumes to just how great of a place this is. Hidden Gem Yes but not for long. Ryan is amazing and so down to earth. You would not even know he was the owner and I did not know it when he came and took our order. He went the extra mile for us by bringing us our cocktails from his sister establishment next door because it was raining and we had a little one dining with us. So needless to say the customer services is TOP TIER. Now for the review on the food! AMAZING!!! We previously had the Bruschetta on a date night a few months ago and ever since then I had been craving it so this trip was the trip to go back just for that! But we ended up getting pizza and wings as well and THE BEST HANDS DOWN! we have found OUR SPOT! every couple or family has "Their Spot" and this is now ours. My husband and I met at a local Ale House and that use to be our spot but it is safe to say we have a new home... just try it! and get a cocktail while you're at it! Been on our hunt for go-to pizza places in the RTP and surrounding area. Discovered V Pizza newest place in Durham. We were pleasantly greeted by one of the co-owners and due to the great weather outdoors, we opted for outside seating. We were also informed that the bar attached to the restaurant named Flask was open. We opted for a few cold Red Oaks and ordered the Wings, Pepperoni Pizza as well as their Margherita Pizza. The Wings were amazing and had wonderful cartelized onions on top. The Pizza was excellent and just what we expected from a true Neapolitan pizza. Crust was nice and had the right chew to it. The staff was excellent with the right amount of checking in. We were also pleasantly presented with a couple of additional "special wings" that we really enjoyed. Outdoor eating area was wonderful. We both would highly recommend V Pizza as we set the bar very high for pizza places around the U.S. This will be on our "keeper pizza" list in the area. If you feel like a good Neapolitan style pizza, please go ahead and give V Pizza a try. Looking forward to going back and trying a few of the specialty pizzas. I visit the Raleigh area for business about six times a year. I usually stay in the Briar Creek area as is adjacent to my customers in the airport. It's always been lacking in good food mostly chains hit a mess. Stumbled upon V pizza and ordered their Calabrian wings and this beautiful salad. I got to say I am late to the Calabrian hot peppers however I really have enjoyed them in many dishes. This is the first time I've seen wings doused in that hot pepper relish. They were delicious. I only wish I had a place like this near me. It has a new dimension to chicken wings. The salad was great very fresh and lots of it. Staff was great place was clean very family atmosphere. Appropriate Musak playing at all times · Keep it clean, happy, friendly and fast moving - never show signs of stress! . TRAIN employees well so they will be able to answer any/all questions and have complete and total knowledge of what they are talking about - Yup, another, or else! · Good variety of soda - NO alcohol, ever! Nope, not even a beer · Don't drop the ball and assume that you shouldn't constantly taste what is going out that door or staying in-house. First off, this place is delicious. 4 of us were headed to a show in raleigh and we thought we were running a little behind so we decided to order pick up from here. I called and Anthony took my order (he's the owner and great by the way). The plan was to order the signature Margherita and the veggie pizza, but he sold me on the Napoli (which was incredible and we will be ordering it again). Well, turns out, we ended up having time to spare so we decided to sit down and have a drink while we ate our pizza. I ended up passing Anthony on the way to our table and mentioned how amazing the wings are but we didn't order them because we had planned to eat on the go- literally, in the car on the way to the show. Not only did he make sure our table was clean and we had what we needed to eat in house, not 10 minutes later, he came out with wings! So I've been here about 10 times now so I feel as if I can produce a well thought review. 1. I do truly love the pizza, I have a gluten intolerance and this place makes the best option with gluten free crust. 2. However, I branched out last night and got Hawaiian wings & caprese salad. The salad had barely any flavor/seasoning & the wings weren't just charred but legit burnt. 3. Based off the many times I have ordered from here I can safely say they have maybe 2 quality employees. I typically do curbside pickup, so thus I have to call when I arrive. I do, and most of the time (especially last night) I get a response almost as if the underlying tone in their voice is that I'm bothering them for calling to pick up my order?? V pizza that's v weird. And v uncomfortable for someone who is incredibly nice on the phone (me) I work in customer service every day. I had to call FOUR times to even FINALLY get an ETA on my pizza. It took an H O U R to finally get it (placed order online) and mind you there was only 1 other car in the parking lot they weren't even close to busy. Also, I watched as I was sitting waiting in my car at four employees playing around I'm assuming that's why the pizza took forever like legit twirling the metal rods they pull the pizza out with. Then one girl who worked their was so rude when I asked when the food would be finished (again like I was bothering her) and one thing to note : which this wouldn't even have bothered me if they would've been kind people to conversate with, but there's no uniforms which makes it hard to determine who works there and who doesn't. No biggie just something to note. All in all; I do enjoy the food but please whoever owns this place, pick your staff wisely. I saw some other reviews about poor sanitation & rude staff encounters... as a business owner myself, LISTEN to your customers and make the changes necessary. God bless! read more
