Finally went across town to try out V Revolution and am only disappointed that it took me so long to try it! There menu is full of so many different options, everything sounds good-- you're biggest problem will be picking something! Everything was prepared fresh and the staff was very courteous! We enjoyed the orange chik'n bao, "crab cheese" wontons, the spring roll noodle bowl and the beyond kimchi dumplings. Everything was delicious-- I would have liked to have more to the noodle bowl... the noodles were a bit plain after you eat the spring rolls. My only issue with this place is the use of plastic! Came here for the first time today based on the recommendation of my girl friend and friend, it did not disappoint. I'm the Spicy Ramen was delicious, filling and well rounded. The broccoli had the texture of salad bar raw broccoli - way undercooked for my tastes. There were 4 small florets of broccoli and the other veggies were minimal. Wow wow wow wow! That is seriously all that we could say while eating this food. We traveled down from Boulder to see what all of the fuss was about, and our expectations were only exceeded. We ordered a vast array of different items of all over the board. These items were the Salt and Pepper Vushrooms, Tofu Crystal Rolls, Teriyaki Bowl, Orange Chicken Bao(an absolute MUST try), and Mushroom Lovers Dumplings. We also had the opportunity to try the Vegetable Pho and Tofu Fries. Everything that we tasted was delicious, and was prepared expertly. The portions were well sized, and the plating was wonderful. This place has amazing food. I have gotten food from there so many times and have never been disappointed. I love that they are full vegan / vegetarian and are one of the only places. Every time that I have gone there the employees are always super nice and the vibe is sooooo chill. The menu has a lot of vegan varieties inspired by Korean, Japanese, and Vietnamese cuisines. We ordered the pao, ramen noodle, and Korean rice bowl. The food was a generous portion and it was piping hot. My partner had Pad Thai noodles and the vegan wontons. I was a huge fan of the Thai noodles. The wontons were OK to me, but the other items I got were definitely superior. Most of the items on the menu are vegan, or are vegetarian and can be modified to be vegan. I was coming off of a cleanse and thought this vegan restaurant would be a good intro back into food but the tofu was deep fried and it didn't give a description on the menu. I will try again but I wasn't super impressed. I would have liked to see sauces infused into the tofu and veggies instead. And friendly service. My go-to favs: - MONGOLIAN BEEF - how is this not meat? and how can there be this much flavor? Delicious blend of flavors and textures (with the veggies). It's not on their normal menu, so if you see it on their "specials" board, you should order it. - SWEET & SPICY KATSU BURGER - this is the best katsu I've ever has, such depth of flavor - BEYOND DAN DAN NOODLES - so. much. flavor. Soooo yummy! Other favorites: - Bao Trio (pork belly is my fav) - Katsu bao - Orange chicken - Beyond Kimchi dumplings - Green Power dumplings - V fries - Braised Pork Belly rice bowl - Spicy Ramen - broth has good flavor, better than most veg ramen but if you are used to broth cooked/flavored with bones, you might be disappointed. The "pork belly" is sooooo good. This ramen will hit the spot if you're looking for a soup. The following are good, but I prefer the other dishes and will prob not reorder: - Pad Thai - flavors are okay, but nothing stands out - Peanut Tofu Noodle Bowl - although it's worth noting that the TOFU IS PERFECTLY fried & perfectly seasoned = absolutely delicious. I took a vegan friend here for dinner. We had a pretty wide variety of appetizers and pad kee Mao, drunken noodles. We tried mushroom dumplings, the fried mushroom bites, and v fries. The food was okay but they let it sit idle and the appetizers suffered for it. I enjoyed the flavor of the drunken noodles a lot. I liked the crunchy tofu V fries but no one else did. The battered mushrooms were terrible. The mushrooms could not be chewed really. So tough. The mushroom pan fried dumplings were not good. They weren't bad but they were fried weirdly and were falling apart and the flavor wasn't yummy. The customer service was not good. The woman taking our order was not pleasant and I got the impression our presence annoyed her. When we paid, I tipped generously because it was like an hour before closing. She told us she'd bring our food out to our table. When most of our food was ready she boxed it up and let it sit on a tray for a very long time. This was apparently all of the appetizers we'd ordered. She put them in Togo boxes and closed the lids. As they sat, I wondered if it was our food or a pick up order. After about 5 more min we went up to take it to the table ourselves, if it was ours, to start eating the appetizers while they were maybe mildly hot still. Another woman was up there by the counter and when we walked up, she turned her back and refused to answer our polite "excuse me, is this our tray?" question ... It was super rude and I didn't know what else to do so I stood patiently and waited for the other woman who took our order to come back. The other woman came out after a couple more minutes and then refused to let us take our food yet. She then brought out the last dish, which was our entree, put it on the tray and took it to us. Why? To save the second visit to our table? The appetizers, left in their closed boxes while we sat hungry, were indeed pretty soggy and not very warm. I really wish she hadn't felt so disinclined to make 2 trips the 20 feet to our table. I honestly would never come back because of how we were treated. I have no idea why the other employee turned her back to ignore us as we were being quiet and polite the whole time... or why they didn't want to let us eat our appetizers. Epicurean Asian Delight!!! As if I were eating vegetarian in Vancouver Canada or Los Angeles maybe even Hong Kong. The quality of veggies with fusion of asian sauces as almost unbelievable at such an economical price. I was raised by chefs and married to a chef for over 15 years. If I can't eat quality then I just cook myself. Thankfully this place is in my neighborhood on the days Im just too tired to prep in my own kitchen.
