    Sns after 1.5 weeks

They are very nice and the price is reasonable. I love Tina and Wendy. They always do a good job with SNS dip powder and it last a long time.

absolutely horrible, didn't give me what i asked for. i asked for black french tips but i wanted the black to be black glitter and i wanted red bottoms, the lady did not know how to do red bottoms, she showed it to her boss and was talking in their language, i assume she didn't know how to do that type of look, she literally flipped my hand and put red DIRECTLY UNDER my nail when your supposed to put it on the acrylic tip, then add a white on top so you don't see it through the acrylic. when i asked her for the black glitter frenchies, she tried to put a silver glitter nail polish on the french, i told her i wanted the black glitter so its matches the french, she said that they don't have. WHAT KIND OF NAIL SALON DOESNT HAVE GLITTER FOR NAILS?!?!? then when i went to tip, i gave them 4$ instead of 5, the lady looked at it and said "you scared me for a second i thought it said 2$" i am not obligated to even GIVE you a tip if i wanted. this is why i started booking with actual nail techs on instagram rather than these local nail shops who think they know what they're doing

I came in for SNS powder with tips. I did black with gold glitter. Tina did an amazing job, usually I pay $45

VERY professional! Timely, accommodating. This location is VERY clean. I love the fact that they put the plastic inside the tub (not all nail salons do that) I got lucky as a walk in, and sitting here now, everyone coming in has an appointment so I definitely recommend and will book an appointment for my next visit. $2 extra for a 5 min foot massage (per foot - well worth it!) they do try to upsell you so pay attention!! I was distraught walking in and caught off guard when she said Spa Pedicure and I said yes, but quickly realized that means (the works) and quickly changed it back to regular pedicure. Will add more photos of the pedicure and manicure I received shortly!

There are two golden rules I follow to ensure I have a wonderful experience: 1) Book Alinda for SNS and pedicures - they last for weeks 2) Book the first appointment of the day - you'll still get out by noon I really truly come here for the total convenience and for Alinda. I really haven't tried any of the other girls for SNS, but sadly, like most nail places, the people that are really good, never stay forever. Wendy is always booked too, but I've never had the pleasure of being her client. Pay attention and see what names people keep asking for; Alinda is one of them. Lovely, friendly, and always happy to see me. This place is really clean, and they are constantly cleaning the floor and the tools all day. Never had an issue with the pedicure chairs; they do their thing and that's all I care about. I did take a star away because recently they have been charging an extra $2 if you choose another color for your ring finger or use more than one color. Really? That I think is nonsense, but it's a great way to get another $2 from me, because, you know, I'm gonna pay it.

What i asked for, but in white.

The lady that did my nails did not know what she was doing. She was so confident she knew what she was doing and they ended up looking like trash. I got Sns tips and i've never gotten nails so chunky. i feel like i am a 55 year old women with these thick chunks on my fingernails. The design is horrible. it's so simple to draw lines and she couldn't even finish the god damn line going all the way down. I didn't ask for faded stripes on my nails thank you very much. When I asked her to make the lines bolder, she started putting gems on my nails. I didn't as for gems, i asked for stripes. This is an instrgram vs. real life nail design. Make sure your what ur lady understands you before you get started girl.

Done by owner? Asked for almond, and notice the messy shape. I

It's a hit or miss. Depending on the nail tech you get. I've been here 4 times and each time I get different results. They have 3 brands of dip powder, and they call all sns. There's a basket of dip powder color, it gets so overwhelming because there's so much and it's so unorganized. It was $35 for powder for a while until their promotion ended? It's now $40. First time was with the owner? Tom? I booked my Appointment very last minute was able to fit me in. I asked for almond and I said it was too pointy. He then went ahead and filed rounder. He then said this is round. He also kept tugging on my hand because I tend to get relaxed on the edge of table. He didn't have to do it in such a rude way. Second time was with Tina, Amazing massage at the end, she really loosen my stiff shoulders. Her filing wasn't smooth enough. Third time was with alinda, she was great with filing, very smooth. Quick but attentive to details. I didn't get the last lady's name, definitely the most uneven work so far. Some nails didn't match up, different thickness and length. I did this one as a walk in as I can't get a hold of someone on the phone. The consistencies were my nails lasted at least one month, phone is down 3/4 the time ( hard to book appointments. They also don't take covid precautions other than the pixi glass. I've never seen them sanitize chair or highly touched places. Also a lack of communications, definitely seen customers complaining about not getting a massage but staffs doing it as a charged service.

Always tried other nail salons closer to home but nothing compares. Their SNS is amazing! Affordable and lasts long.

Really do not understand the negative reviews on this place. Ive been coming here since the day they opened and continue to commute from Astoria for this place. They do an excellent job with SNS for the price compared to other nail salons I have been to. Additionally, if you make an appointment in advance, you wont have to wait longer than a few minutes, since this place can get busy.

After two years of coming here consistently, my commitment with V2 is over. I used to love coming here for SNS, especially when Nicky used to work here, but this visit will be the last - and it's not because of one isolated incident, or because I found somewhere better. My issue here is mainly with the owner, "Tom". If you read enough reviews, you'll see there are a lot of people mentioning how rude he can be. I've gone to him enough where I can say he's always rude. It's not a bad day here or there, it's every time. He's made me cry once because of how poorly he handled a situation where my SNS was done incorrectly and breaking at least four natural nails (so each time hurt like hell) within 12 hours. And yet, as embarrassing as that was, I still came back because I thought his work was good enough. The last few times have been rough. He always gives you visual cues that anything you say regarding your nails is an annoyance to him. Unless I sat there and let him do whatever he wants, he'll huff and puff and make visually strained body language to basically tell you that your desired shape and length is annoying. He's very distracted (some of it completely understandable since he is the owner and is always checking around to see which work station is about to open up) but there is very little attention being spent on you or what he's doing with your nails. I don't live in the area anymore but I made an appointment last night and trekked the hour commute because I still haven't given up on them yet. I can brush off the normal attitude I'm used to by this point, as long as my nails look good. The job was rushed so badly this time and did not come out the way I wanted at all. Tom cut my cuticles twice and instead of apologizing, blamed the color I chose for making it hard to see what was skin and what was my nails. My nails were uneven and not entirely dry before he started rubbing lotion on my hands (which was also rushed and no way enjoyable with him pulling and yanking on my arm) so it messed up the top coat on my nails and made the whole two hour ordeal look messy. So that's it. It's not worth the rudeness you'll always get with him, and it's absolutely not worth an hour commute for the rudeness and bad manicure.

    Is v2 open?

Not till the governor gives the okay for non essential 😫

    Do they do gel pedicures?

    Yes

Does anyone know the price for sns tips?

30 for regular sns, 5 extra for tips I believe and another extra 10 for French. It's been like 2 months since I've had it done though. It is possible for it to have changed. So if you wanted French tips sns style it's like 45.

How much is it for acrylic?

$28 plus 5 dollars extra for shape

Does anyone know the price for gel, sns and a pedicure? Thanks in advance!

For sns on your nails and a regular pedicure, it's $50

New business management and new business name: Magnolia Nail Spa 4 The inside of the shop is still the same as old business Le Charme but it's not the same. Service and quality isn't the same under their old manager Ryan. I personally felt like it was a trap that they continue to use the LeCharme name and website when they had clearly changed. I was confused when I arrived and saw the name change but still gave them a chance as I had booked an appointment via Le Charme website and only had that day to get my nails done before going to a wedding on the West Coast. Also, even though I had an Spa Pedicure appointment for 10AM (opening time) I still had to wait. Other customers came in (either appt or walk in) and were seen first... they also had to call for more Nail technicians to come. I sat at the manicure station flipping through gel color templates waiting for Nail tech to see me. I already choose but waiting, at one point they had forgotten me until someone asked me what I wanted and I had to repeat myself again. I picked a spa pedicure treatment and selected gel as I heard gel last longer. It was my first time getting gel but I wanted to look my best for the wedding I'll be attending. I asked for paraffin wax for my feet and callus treatment. They were confused and said paraffin is already included in the spa package (I remember it is usually for heel only and I wanted for the entire feet) but they insisted it was included and for the entire feet, so I said okay and let them do their thing. Service was decent but my nail tech had rushed and missed a few spot. She didn't apply the polish carefully and throughly. It was like coloring your hair, they always leave a gap from the hairline so you can return for touchup. In my pic, you can see my toes didn't look as nice and pic was taken about 1.5-2hrs later (after appointment, I had quick lunch and went straight home). While I did enjoy the spa pedicure, because I wanted to pamper my feet, she was abit rough at times and rushed it. And no, she didn't apply paraffin wax to the entire feet; just the heel. I was willing to pay extra but they didn't do that. If you don't know, paraffin wax help rehydrate and trap in moisture and it's particularly effective for those who often get calluses to help in removing dead skin, and healing dry patches. It acts like a form of heat therapy and can help increase blood flow, relax muscles, and decrease joint stiffness. It can also minimize spasms and inflammation as well as treat sprains. When it was time to pay, I thought I would have to shell out more for everything as I didn't know what the actual cost would be. I wanted Spa Pedicure package with Gel Color. Callus Treatment $10, Gel pedicure $55 & Spa Pedicure $45. I had assumed they would charge abit extra for the Gel coloring ontop of the Spa Pedicure package. After I paid and walked out (no receipt was given to me and I had hope to take a pic of the bill but the total was present quickly to me and was out of my view) and walked down the street, the owner lady came out chasing me saying I needed to pay more. I follow back and she said something else was charged to me.. again wasn't able to see the bill and had to trust her word and paid more. I finally left and disappointed later on when I examined my feet at home. I think its time to find a new Nail Salon.

The technician repeatedly focused on the corner of one toenail that appeared completely fine, continuing to poke and cut at the area despite there being no visible issue. She also seemed visibly frustrated throughout the service, sucking her teeth in frustration as she went over this area again and again with the cuticle cutters, which added to the discomfort. Now, 6 days later, I'm experiencing pain and warmth in that toe, which makes me concerned that the excessive cutting has resulted in irritation and may have even caused an ingrown toenail -- not cool, very awkward & disappointing experience. Manicure: The manicure itself was acceptable, but the process felt inconsistent and unstructured. Each hand was treated differently, and tools--specifically the cuticle nipper--were not cleaned during the service, resulting in visible buildup of cuticle cuttings on the tool, which was unpleasant and concerning from a hygiene standpoint. Overall, this experience left me uncomfortable and disappointed, and I wouldn't return.

She then continued at the same pace and pressure. Being heard was simply not on the agenda. The quality of the work matched the attitude. One of my nails had a visible thread of polish hanging off it, clearly about to crack, and when I pointed it out she told me she didn't know what I was talking about and couldn't see anything.
