We were heading towards the freeway and came across this hidden gem. My husband and I each got the surf and turf burrito and were pleasantly surprised at how full of protein it was (some places fill up on rice or the other filler ingredients). The burrito was also just delicious! My husband asked the cashier for the most spicy sauce they had and boy, did she deliver! This blush colored sauce was soooo spicy; it had us both sweating profusely! But it was sooo good we couldn't stop. We also got two churros and the fry was amazing! We will def be back.!! read more

She took my order did not disclose any price but I showed up my $10 burrito was $15 and not ready, The service was terrible for no apparent reason there was nobody at the cashier when I walked in. Ordered an egg and chorizo breakfast burrito before a flight. It was bland so make sure to get salsa from the salsa bar. The service was the worst. No one was in the cash register despite me ringing the bell three times to get service and once the lady came she had a lot of attitude and hostile. Today I had exceptional service from the owner who was very friendly. I have to say, this place is up there on my list of best Mexican food restaurants in Oceanside. There's GREAT value here too! We called ahead for a carnitas torta, a veggie torta, and two potato tacos. Everything was DELICIOUS. The tortas were gigantic, and the carnitas inside were perfectly moist on the inside and crispy on the outside. The potato tacos were really good too. I wasn't expecting much, but these surprised me with how much they put in there aside from the potatoes. They really looked gourmet! It's pretty cheap too. This is in a strip mall but don't let that get to you, the place doesn't look that great inside either but I get the same Sd burrito every time it is huge and very filling. I took my wife there and she said the shrimp taco was the best taco she ever had in her life. She also got the Carnitas taco that she said was pretty good.
