This place has been bookmarked for a long time! We finally stopped in and so glad we did! They have parking, which is always nice! You walk up and order and they bring your food to you. The service was very friendly! That was much appreciated b/c they were a bit busy when we came by. We ordered the Valhalla Pork and Shrimp Po Mofo. Both were very tasty! The pork was good, it reminded me of kalua pork but with bbq sauce. Love the bread both sandwiches were served on. Nice and soft! The shrimp was the star of our lunch. Good size shrimp and yummy sauce. This sandwich was super good! We'll come back just for this one. I didn't know what to expect but we loved it! My only regret about going to Valhalla is that I didn't go sooner! The girl who was cashiering was very nice, she even gave me ice for my bottle of Diet Coke. I had the Duderino sandwich. Very good. Good sandwiches here. A solid lunch choice, with vegetarian options, good beverage selection and quick, friendly service. The sandwiches are riffs on classics like cubanos, Reubens, and southern pulled pork. There is a veggie sandwich, and sides like fries, tots, slaw and salad. The soup, frankly, sounds much more exciting and comfort-foody than it actually is- skip the soup. The music is 70's baby boomer hits, which is annoying and occasionally funny. Not bad-just not my cup of ex-flower child sell-out tea. :) Missing star is for dining room cleanliness, which is an easy fix- just have someone with a sanitizer cloth, broom and dustpan make a tour of the dining area every hour, sweeping up dropped fries and wiping that cornmeal from the torta rolls that gets everywhere from the tables and especially the seats- and you're there. The windows and doors could use some attention too. That said, everything else seems on point. The sandwich flavor profiles are interesting and well-balanced, and cravable! They might consider serving fries and tots with memorable custom sauces, like chipotle ranch or garlic aioli, and moderate the portion size (which is HUGE) to offset the cost. Oh man, so hard to find a flaw in this place when everything was so great! Popped by for lunch and parked a bit down the street. Their lot only has space for maybe 2-3 vehicles. I took a couple minutes to review the menu at the counter and then ordered the Valhalla Pork sandwich with a side of tater tots. They have a cute, fenced-in dining area outside so I grabbed myself a seat under one of the umbrellas. Not even 5 minutes and my food has already arrived! I figured it would take around 20 mins since they had a fairly packed house during lunch time. The sandwich was perfectly toasted and the pork was so tender. Every bite was packed with flavor!! The tots on the other hand were also delicious. Askfor their Chipotle dipping sauce - the two go hand-in-hand. The only thing I'd wish they'd change is their sandwich sizes. They were more on the small end for my liking, but that's maybe cause I'm just a cow. read more

We came here for a quick meal and Valhalla did not disappoint. The longest part about our visit was probably us trying to decide what to order from the many delicious sounding options on the menu. I ordered the steak beastie, while my partner got an el duderino, substituting avocado for the chorizo. We also got two of the strawberry ciders on tap and an order of loaded tots to share. The sandwiches came out quickly and we scarfed them down. The steak beastie had plenty of meat and sauce - I enjoyed the pickled onions and the peppers had a nice kick. The tots were also good but I felt the portion was really small for a $7 plate of tator tots and beer cheese. The sandwiches were also on the smaller side I thought - I was full and appreciated not having to feel stuffed or decide to have leftovers, but someone with a heartier appetite might need a bit more. read more

Can't comment on ambiance or service. Pork sandwich: tender, perfectly bbq sauced pork. The jalapeño apple slaw was not spicy (and this is coming from someone who thinks Chipotle is spicy). Bread was tasty, overall solid choice. Shrimp: sizable juicy shrimp and overall flavor bomb. A little messy to eat, but you're in Valhalla... GET THE TOTS and opt for the chorizo. It's amazing. Perfect ratio of tots to cheese, to chorizo. The perfect ratio means no soggy tots and that each tot was perfectly coated in cheese and chorizo. Mac Salad: after chowing down on all the other flavorful foods, by the time we got to the Mac salad, all we tasted was mayo. Even the next day, the flavor of Chipotle was almost undetectable. Luckily I like noodles...so it's all good. Could be better. read more

Fidel Cashflow: an excellent combination of flavors and oh so filling! Gotta love those crunchy and fresh tasting pickle chunks! The meat was very juicy and tender and the Dijon mustard added just the right kick! Tater tots: crispy outer shell and not overly greasy inside. So good! There's a lot of tots in that bowl so beware! Review in the Time of Covid: Somedays you're stuck at your desk and don't have time for lunch until mid-afternoon. You don't have time between meetings to make something, and just need delivery. I used DoorDash to get the El Duderino from Valhalla, and I'm glad that I did. The sandwich was delicious, varying textures and flavors - though I did wonder if there was some Chao instead of cheese, because I seemed to taste that fake-cheese flavor. I didn't mind - I'm lactose intolerant so if so, it would have been an error in my favor. I ordered a Mexican Coke with my meal, which unfortunately, the DoorDash driver said didn't get handed off to him. Things happen, so I can't fault them too much this time. I was happy to have a sandwich when I needed it. All the other places I would have ordered a little closer were closed, so I had to go further afield. It worked out! read more

So ordered Uber Eats priority pickup from Valhalla and as much as I enjoy the food for the last 6 delivery orders I'm having the same issue as seen in the pictures. If you know the biodegradable sauce cups you us will melt and warp under heat why place them on top of hot tots. So now I have sauce everywhere and yet no sauce to eat smh. It will be a very very very long time before I order anything else. It really doesn't matter at this point if the food is good if the packaging doesn't have the same quality standards. read more

Tasty food, but I wanted to let you know that I find some of your menu item names to be culturally insensitive and appropriative (e.g. "buddha call", blackened "shrimp po mo'fo", etc.) I believe you'd have better success as a business if you were to take these things into consideration when naming your items, and take more care to create an inclusive atmosphere that doesn't objectify other cultures.
