This place likes to price gouge. They charged me $16 for a pack of washing machine dog agits that I later found on Amazon for less than $2.

Purchased a brand-new refrigerator several months ago I am still waiting for a new replacement…read morerefrigerator. The ice maker makes a loud, obnoxious squealing noise from day one. We bought this fridge because our ice maker went out on our old one. We are not made of money, so this purchase was a "treat" for us and we splurged to get the nicer fridge in hopes to have it for many years. Since day one it's been nothing but issues. There have been 4 visits from Danmark appliance repair company who has replaced two different parts and now has no idea how to fix the issue and have stopped coming out. I have reached out several times to Manny without a response from him over the last 30 days and the last time we spoke on text he was going to call me in a couple of hours, that was a month ago. Instead, I get phone calls from his assistant, Wilton, who is very nice but there has been no resolve. I was told when I purchased that there was a factory warranty and that if there were any issues during that time it would be no issue to resolve it. Well, here we are... 3 months later with a fridge that has an ice maker issue, go figure... Buyer beware!! If I had to do it all over again, I would forgo the $500 savings that I got from buying with Manny and would purchase from Cosco where I know my issues would be resolved immediately. It's just ridiculous that spending $2000 on a brand spanking new refrigerator would result in a faulty ice maker and no fix in sight.

Not only did he install it but he did the basic electric and plumbing to bring my connections to a modern level! Miele dishwasher broke on New Year's Eve. I called Miele for service on Monday, January 2. Their…read moreearliest appointment was for Friday, January 13, and they recommended Mr. Appliance. Miele quoted $175 flat rate plus parts for repair; Mr. Appliance quoted $175 diagnostic fee plus parts. Service tech from Mr. Appliance came Tuesday, January 3, spent about 30 minutes diagnosing, said someone would contact me with a quote Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning. When no one called by Wednesday afternoon, I called them; they said they were just about to call me, and gave me an estimate of $390 for parts plus $325 for labor (including the $175 I had already paid). I told them to go ahead and they ordered the parts. They said they would phone me after the parts arrived in order to schedule the second service call. I believed that the parts would take no more than a day to arrive in Rockaway from Princeton, so when no one called by Thursday afternoon, I called them. They said that the parts had arrived and scheduled a second appointment for Friday. The same service tech showed up on Friday and completed the repair. Both times he was polite and apparently competent. He showed me what the problem was, and why he needed to replace the parts he did. Moreover, the dishwasher was up and running a week earlier than it would have been with Miele. That's the good news. The bad news was that they charged $150 more for labor than Miele would have charged, and they also charged me about $50 more for the part than Miele, because Miele does not charge for shipping parts that their technicians are going to install. Moreover, when he reconnected the dishwasher, he did not tighten the fittings enough, so the water inlet hose leaked. That was easy enough for me to tighten, but fortunately I had a big enough wrench to do so. The bottom line: I wound up paying about $200 more than Miele would have charged in order to have my dishwasher working a week (or more, if Miele had had to come back to install parts) earlier than if I had waited for Miele to service it. Moreover, they could have had it working on Wednesday instead of Friday if they had ordered the parts immediately and scheduled the second service call late in the day after the parts would presumably have arrived. So compared with Miele, they were faster--tnough not as fast as they might have been--and significantly more expensive. Moreover, they made a minor mistake (not checking for leaks) that could have been a nuisance if I didn't know what to do about it. Hence three stars, not two or four.

Our salesperson, Eric, was knowledgeable and patient, which made the experience positive. We left feeling good about our purchase and scheduled delivery for a week later. That's where the nightmare began. We received multiple confirmations for our fridge delivery scheduled for the following week between 9 AM and 1 PM. On delivery day, we got a text saying it would arrive at 2:20 PM, but twenty minutes later, we were informed it was canceled with no explanation. After spending the weekend on the phone with Best Buy customer service, no one could clarify the situation. We had already been two weeks without a fridge and were desperate. Another week passed, and again we were excited for delivery, only to receive another cancellation text. A customer service rep called and, due to a heavy accent, all we understood was: "No fridge, you must buy a new one." My husband finally reached someone in corporate sales, and we learned the truth: the delivery company had damaged our fridge. Best Buy had stalled for TWO WEEKS instead of being honest with us. We returned to the store and spoke with Eric and Sean, the store manager, who was professional and frustrated with corporate. He called corporate for us, but all they offered was $150 for our troubles. We spent over $1,000 on a fridge that was broken before delivery, waited weeks without one, and received nothing but lies. All we wanted was the fridge we purchased. Instead, Best Buy's corporate team left us without a refrigerator, failed to communicate honestly, and offered an insulting $150 for the inconvenience we faced. The only reason I'm not giving zero stars to the Rockaway location is that Eric and Sean went above and beyond to help fix what corporate destroyed. Unfortunately, Best Buy corporate and their delivery partner have lost my trust forever. I will never purchase a major appliance from them again. Update: I have never been so frustrated with a company in my life. After weeks of going back and forth with Best Buy and their incompetent delivery company, I finally gave up on the fridge I originally purchased and settled for a lesser model just to get something. We waited ANOTHER week for delivery--only for them to pull the same garbage again: cancelled 30 minutes before it was supposed to arrive. That's now FOUR Saturdays in a row they've scheduled and then canceled at the last minute. I've been over a month without a working fridge, my blood pressure is through the roof, my patience is gone, and apparently I can't even get my money back--so I'm stuck with Best Buy. This is beyond unacceptable, and I'm seriously considering legal action. Best Buy corporate and their delivery partner have zero respect for customers' time, money, or sanity.

Victoria was on vacation and I spoke to another sales associate who was now caught in between a rock and a hard place. I was given the option of waiting a week for a repair for the tub or two weeks to get a new one. I asked for a reasonable good-faith offer to cut the cost of the tub if we got it repaired, since I was now going to have bought a refurbished tub. The manager never got on the phone with me, which was a red light right away, but made the other sales associate shuttle back and forth between us. His offer? $100 off. It was insulting. The tub was $1000 and I was still going to have to wait. He couldn't be bothered to negotiate...not even so much as an offer of store credit. So we ordered a new tub. It took 3 weeks, not 2. They did nothing to expedite any of the process. I don't blame the sales associate, she was not the person who should have dealt with that. The bad business practice lies firmly with the manager who did not have the decency to pick up the phone and make a customer who had just given them several thousand dollars happy. Victoria, when she returned had to clean up the mess, and the new tub (and old one) arrived without a drain assembly. The plumber had to drive out to pick one up. Open *every* box immediately before the delivery truck pulls away or the manager will throw you under the bus, because taking care of people who give you money is hard.

Vicky spent lots of time with me going over every detail. I left with 2 catalogs and returned the next week to order; they arrived (as she promised) in a very timely manner. however, when I got them home I realized the one I ordered for the LR was not going to work. I have a 1780 colonial with 7' ceilings. I did not want a flush mount but anything in the chandelier category was going to be tough. I went back with the light. at which point I had done what I had not done for the first visit,,,i measured to determine overall max length, then I could figure out what the max length of the stem should be. I showed her a couple of possibilities in the catalogs she had given me after the first visit, but strangely, the information I needed to decide what would work was not listed in the product description...well Vicky called the manufacturer and spent a huge amount of time asking all the right questions...I should note here: this was not just one light she was calling about...I had picked several...so again...could not have been more impressed with her ! long story short. I ordered a replacement....and it is PERFECT. ferguson sells more than just lights....i'll be back to see Vicky for all of that too.i cannot recommend her more highly. she a pro...and a just a great person.

Then they add-on and overcharge you for a product or products you didn't want and then threaten to take it back if you don't pay for the added charges. They constantly call your number by robocall and hang up or send you to voicemail when you call to inquire or contest a charge. They ignore and completely disregard when you ask for a print out an itemized list of the charges or the bill and totally take advantage of Senior Citizens. The manager named Nelson, sets everything up, never follows through and his boss whose name is "Nelson's Boss" calls to intimidate and bully the customers if you have an issue or present an issue to him. I am hoping some one will see this and direct it to anyone that can help me and my elderly mother that has been Verbally Abused by this "Nelson's Boss" at this location or be very wary of the rickety furniture that they will replace with other pieces that won't match the set or a mattress that is beyond uncomfortable and not what was advertised or agreed upon at the time of purchase.
