TOP TIER SERVICE!…read more This location is by far the best service I've ever received from any dealership. Everyone here is an absolute amazing person, and so helpful! They make me want to come back just to be here!!!! It's that great! :) Ilya, who helped me purchase my vehicle is so absolutely wonderful!!! He is attentive and is ALWAYS willing to help me no matter what the question is, he is there! That kind of service you cannot find anywhere else! Jose in the financing department is such a patient and understanding employee! Also very attentive and very kind to everyone! Everyone here is amazing! IM STILL NOT DONE!!! The sales woman at the counter named Melani, is SO incredibly sweet! Her attentiveness and patience is so warming! The baristas at the coffee bean, Andy and Dylan are so amazing! They always have a smile on their face and will make conversation with you and really make you feel welcomed! Not to mention their drinks are FANTASTIC!!! To end this review, I'd like to just say that the people who work here at Galpin Honda, in San Fernando are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, the owner of this company is blessed to have such wonderful people working here. Everyone always seems so happy to be here and they really are "Happy Honda people" thank you for always being so kind to my family and making me feel part of this family! I will continue to recommend friends and family to come here, just before the experience they will receive! Thank you again!

Here's why Hamer met our needs: sales guy Oscar Padilla shows you the Costco screen and all discounts that apply. No haggling needed. It was automatically $9500 cheaper. Full transparency of all fees. Discounts that Costco applies. College graduate discount found in the Toyota website AND he found a 1.99% APR 72 month, plug-in vehicle, unadvertised Memorial weekend special. Too bad the RAV4 plugin has a 2 month waitlist, or we would have bought that too. The finance guy, Frank Chopra, understood how to build my daughter's credit and long term care of her car, as he too has daughters similar in age. Hamer's sales staff and vibe is so diverse and welcoming. I didn't get the "bro" vibe being a female buying a car with my girl. When it's time for my boy to buy his 4Runner, we will definitely be back.

Please heed my words and go to any other dealership for your service needs!…read more This dealership uses bait and switch tactics. When I called today to schedule my oil change, I was informed that the Advantage Care plan (3 oil changes) that I prepaid had expired. I was never informed of a expiration date and it was quickly obvious other customers had run into this same issue as well. I then asked to elevate to a Service Manager and was informed there is a separate 3rd party company that writes these plans and I needed to contact them instead. Instead of calling a different company I am spending my time warning others of this shady Dealership Service Center instead.

I usually don't leave reviews, but I felt like I had to after my experience with Chris Avilas…read more From the moment I walked in Chris made the whole process feel fun. I've been to a few dealers where you immediately feel like someone is trying to push you into something you don't want. He talked to me like a normal person, not a "sale," and that made a big difference. I had a lot of questions about different cars and what would make sense for me He didn't rush me or give vague answers...he actually knew the details or looked them up. My credit situation isn't perfect and I wasn't sure about a new vehicle right now. Chris never made me feel judged or uncomfortable he was straightforward, and he focused on what options could actually work for me rather than wasting time on things that weren't realistic or making me feel like I was a waste of time. Even though I didn't end up purchasing a car today, I walked out of there feeling like I actually understand my options now. Chris took the time to break down what I would need to do to get into a better position and what price range would realistically make sense for me. It didn't feel like a "lost sale" experience--it felt like I was set up with a clear plan for when I'm ready. I'm definitely going to come back and work with him again when I'm ready to move forward. It's rare to meet someone at a dealership who feels both professional and genuinely down-to-earth, but Chris managed to be both. Highly recommend asking for him if you're looking for someone who actually listens and takes the time to help.

The salesman never mentioned that it was damaged and it was supposed to be a " certified vehicle ". I didn't notice until I took it home. The body shop said it was around $3000 in damage. They made me sign a waiver for damage on the car but made it sound like it was previous cosmetic damage and it had been repaired. I feel like I got scammed and will never return to this dealership

They gave me my time and space never called to pressure me even though it took me over 2 weeks to make my decision. When it came time to negotiation they were upfront, had no hidden fees, markups or pre-installed dealer add-ons. They were extremely transparent and made the car buying process so easy. I've had the car now for a few months and have had zero problems. I would highly recommend them.

One of the things I use to gauge whether I'm going to buy a car from a dealer is their genuineness…read more I look to see if they're trying to sell me a car solely to make money or because they genuinely want me in something that works for my budget and for my transportation needs. Frank, at Autobakers passed the test. He was patient, kind, I felt comfortable and at home, and I could tell he was not only trying to make money. The price fit my budget, and it was the exact car that I was looking for. I would have given them a five but the only drawback is I didn't realize the brakes were an issue until I drove down the mountain from where I live. The moment I put the brakes on to take a curve, the car and steering wheel started to shake. I know the brakes were checked, but I'm not sure they did a thorough job as far as taking them off to see the amount of wear and tear and looking at the rotors to see the amount of wear and tear. However, I will still go back to them to buy another car because I don't fault them for the brakes. They did what they were supposed to do as far as checking them but hopefully after this review, they will go the extra mile from here forward.

May 2025 my husband called in the payment…read moreRicardo took the payment and said Congratulations and discusses pink slip three weeks later at 2AM my doorbell is ringing and there is a man in fatigues claimed to have a court order to pick up my car. My husband said that's impossible and show the zero balance we asked to see the court order and he refused so then you can leave my property he just stood there we closed the door he's still just standing there then walks around my house with a flashlight in my windows My Husband says you're trespassing FINALLY he leaves but parked outside for hours. Next morning, were dealing with this and find out we do not owe this was the past due that is due for amount of $39.00. We could have paid but still wanted to address the weirdo we get a call from corporate who was frankly embarrassed and said 1 they do not do court orders and 2 it costs at least 3,000 for this process for $39.00 corporate waived the fee and said because this is the 2nd car purchased through Ganas they don't want to lose our business and what we were thinking about purchasing another car we said now, that our oldest is soon to be 16. We were told to check out what we like and let them know to get a deal going. It was Friday we see a car take down the details and made an appt with the dealership on Monday called corporate they said great they would send notice. We arrive for the appt the car is in the back and told was set on hold for us but management is saying who's so and so and wanted to get a deal going and were like wait a minute we were told the down payment details etc. would be sent by corporate they claimed this message was never received we called corporate and no answer we had $1,000 cash the dealership was asking $3,000 we said we needed to think about it they said they'd take $1,000 cash and the other $1,000 electronically and the last tacked on the payment and were pushy about it we were kind of iffy Thank GOD! cause next day we get a call from someone saying the car was sold Thursday in El Monte we said BS I sat in the car Friday in San Fernando and saw it Monday again in San Fernando and told was set aside for us the gentleman said no it was purchased by another party so had we obliged the dealer and went in on the deal we would be back at square 1 with someone at our door getting the car back that belongs to someone else. We call corporate and told yes the car was sold we expressed how bad record keeping is and how this could have been very bad selling us a car that belonged to someone else. He promised to find the same car right away and get a deal going we've called, text and received zero responseThis is a poor way to not have us take our business elsewhere or not lose our business after they claimed they did not want to lose us as customers. VERY alarming but 2 days after this review we get a call trying to get a deal going to again wait for follow thru when they say they'll call us back and don't During the waiting period the same car I was looking at that was sold I get a call from a lady at the dealership asking how I am liking my new car i told her you're asking how I'm liking a car I did not buy because it was sold to someone else? She says no this car is still available I hung up on her Finally I get the pink slip to my car and certificate for $ amount to purchase a new car. But was told earlier I need to put $3,000 down to buy a car while my certificate says no money down. I ignore this and get a call this past weekend again to pay $3,000 bring up the certificate clearly in writing says no money down and can walk out with a car I was looking at in the first place that is in the price range of the certificate but this person on the phone is SAYING otherwise. And now this is a 4th person calling and talking to us none of these employees communicate with one another and just pick up the phone and call without doing research and embarrassing themselves
