I have decided to pay that $14,000 in cash, on or around...Neverary the 15th. Please keep the coffee warm until then. Follow-up: I never said I was "not satisfied"? In fact; I was absolutely satisfied. Owners need to understand the concept of "diminished returns". My 2007 self-parking $120k+ vehicle will still best most vehicles on the road today. It currently rides smoother than any vehicle I have ever driven...even with bad rubber suspension rings & things. I get offers on my vehicle every day. However; there is no mentally sound justification for spending $14,000+ on repairs for a 2007 Lexus loaded with old tech and having 234,000 miles on it? Note: Almost bought a newer Lexus...but Lexus is into screens and plastic. Minimalist style leaves the buyer feeling like we are paying more for less.(IMO). I like buttons...lots of buttons...and craftsmanship. Texture. Fine wood. So, ran out that day and bought an 4.O Twin Turbo Audi A8 L. So much fun!!! I have been an auto fanatic for years and have owned many vehicles including two previous Lexus. I went to this dealership on Saturday to check out the GS Model Lexus as well as the RC350 Models. Met with the sales person Grady Nakano who was rather arrogant. He wanted to let me know he had been a professional chef & pastor and was so terribly honest. 1st car I test drove which was considered "Certified 160 Point Inspection" the air conditioning would NOT WORK. Brady brushed it off saying oh I will get that checked. I test drove another "Certified 160 Point Inspection" and it was badly damaged with scratches on the exterior of the vehicle as well as damage to the interior panel by the clock and radio. Mind you these vehicles are not cheap. Grady's excuse oh can't guarantee we can fix these things. They are used. During this entire time he did not offer me use of the facilities nor even a bottle of water. Not very welcoming for a high end dealership! The next vehicle I test drove a "Certified 160 Point Inspection RC350" the car had brake issues! Brady's excuse in front of his GM Mack whom we also met "oh did you slam on your brakes or something?" Mind you we had passengers in the vehicle and their safety and ours are the most important! Also this certified vehicle also had illegal blackout windows all around the vehicle. Brady tells us Valley Lexus also owns the Oakland Lexus entirely UNTRUE. He says in front of his GM Mac that he would follow up with us during the week. It's been 10 days and no calls. BEWARE... My wife and I purchase a 2022 Lexus 450 Hybrid. Waited 2 months for this fine vehicle. We had time to discuss exactly what we wanted. Vehicle gets here, sales process was great until we reached the Finance Department. Came across a Finance Manager name Adrian Perez. Mr Perez knew of me being in the auto industry. During the finance process, the warranty came up in subject, I told Mr Perez during my wife and I conversation, we were not going to purchase an extended warranty. Instantly the Professionalism left the room... Mr. Pérez began to stare at my wife to override the decision she and I made at home. No big deal, as we finished the paperwork, I went to the parts department to buy coffee cups and accessories, my wife stayed back and waited for me. Another finance officer entered Mr Perez office as we stepped out, not knowing my wife was in the same area. Mr. Pérez says to the other finance guy...I quote " This fucking guy is stupid as phuck, what a dumb ass for not purchasing a warranty. My wife said Mr. Perez, you can at least wait for your clients to leave before you speak crap about them. He immediately said Mrs White I'm sorry you heard that. What a shame!!! Unfortunately I wasn't gonna allow Adrian Perez to steal my wife's Christmas. Management was there, heard my frustration. Blah blah, blah, the Lexus experience was ruined.. Sales: 5/5 I just wanted to give a huge shoutout to our salesperson Kevin Schinmann. We were looking for a 2022 Lexus NX and was able to secure one with the help of our fantastic salesman. The vehicle was originally reserved for another buyer who declined the purchase the day it arrived. Kevin contacted me right away and we were able to set up an appointment the following day to purchase the vehicle. Finance: 1/5 The primary reason I gave this dealer a 1/5 was due to the financing department. We originally were pre-approved by our local credit union for a fairly low rate and opted to go with Lexus as their rates were comparable. The finance manager, Chris Reitzel, handled all of our paperwork electronically and seemed like a fair person throughout the entire process. We opted to decline all service agreements and signed off on it. However, the process was briefly interrupted as the computer that handled the electronic paperwork "stopped working". Chris then printed out the same documents and had us re-sign as some items did not save. He jokingly instructed us to give him a call if we had any questions before we "blast" him on Yelp (his exact words). We finished the paperwork and drove home with our new vehicle. We soon found out that we had actually signed off on a $5,000 service agreement package when we signed the hard copies because their computer "stopped working" and gave Chris a call and an email to have it cancelled. Chris indicated that he would have his clerk file it and send it in to Lexus Financial Services that following Monday to have it cancelled as requested. Email communication went back and forth and Chris suddenly stopped responding a couple of weeks later when I asked for an update on the status. Multiple emails were sent for a follow-up and received no response. It seemed that Chris had no interest in helping us any further. We waited for over a month since our last communication with Chris in hopes that he would cancel the service agreement before pulling the trigger and calling Lexus Financial Services and cancelling the service agreement ourselves. I take 100% of the responsibility as I did not review all of the paperwork once more even after I signed off electronically and indicated verbally multiple times that I did not want to purchase any additional service agreements. I was very disappointed with Chris' dishonest work ethic when he knowingly had us sign off on the agreement and ceased all communication afterwards. read more

First impressions count and is always something that I take to considerations as a new customer. Specially when an appointment has been set to provide you a service. Off the back Kelly the service rep started to listen to my remarks around the characteristics that I was concerned about but in stead of moving along with each of my concerns and listing , he would answer with cocky answers that made me feel that I was a fool in regards to the reasons of why my vehicle did those specified characteristics. Funny thing is he had not even looked at my Rx350 and never the less experienced the characteristics I was sharing with him . Sadly but true this went on for every concern I had. I think In order to give any customer feed back such as my self you should first listen, go out with the technician so you can reference in the specifications and concerns being shared by the customer. Something has always bothered me and I am just now writing about it. I've been a customer of Valley Lexus for the past fourteen years. A while back I left my car for service overnight. I had left a large cosmetic bag in the car. it contained my very expensive chemo pills. When I went to pick it up the next day , it was obvious that it had been left unlocked and someone had slept in it. There was an old blanket in back I had never seen before. The cosmetic bag was gone. I reported it to the service manager and was told I must have left it somewhere else. They did ask around. I had the opportunity to work with Mark in sales to purchase my new (to me) LC 500 tonight. The entire process working with Mark was one of the best I've had buying a car. He set a new high-bar for how to treat your customers and I will happily drive the 2.5 hours to purchase any future Lexus vehicles from him. I purchased my car here back in 2016, was a great experience and all, but when I get my service here (with an appointment) I'm always waiting forever just to speak to a rep. I'm not sure why you require appointments if I have to wait longer than 30 minutes to speak to a rep., then having to wait another 2 hours for my service. It's very inconvenient especially since they offer the care package which forces you to go to that location to get service done. It's just frustrating, especially when you show up for your appointment time you received via email and the front desk has no record of your appointment lol Not saying that the people are rude, they were cordial every single time but just not very prompt in trying to get you taken care of. Nobody wants to sit at the dealership for 3+ hours. read more

We found Josh a great guy. He has followed up with all our questions and requests. This dealership will not go down in price even 1 cent so be prepared. The price they post online is not honored. When you show them Kelly blue book pricing they say , we don't believe in them. I would give Josh a 5 star! But not the whole experience. We saw the car in a pre-certified capacity, so we never got to drive the car. So we waited a couple of days for them to certify it before they delivered it to us. When we got it all the carpeted floor mats and cargo mat were missing and so was the cargo net. The rain mats weals for and ordered were wrong. This is something they should not have missed when delivering to us. it just added more work for us to deal with. They said they will send us the missing parts and take back the wrong ordered mats after we ship them back to them (a pain). Also more things should have been explained that the car has. We went to another dealership closer to us and they explained everything and fined tuned the car with us. Some features need to be turned on or off by the dealer only. And if that essential enough we already need to have it serviced which I think should have been done by valley Lexus while they were certifying it. The steering pulls to one side and a side molding is coming off and The AC seats don't blow. Wish it was just delivered complete! For the price we paid. When we called to tell them the alignment was off the service manager said it's not covered. I told him we never even drive the car yet. The said to bring it back which is 4 hours away from us. I said not likely. Lexus of San Jose is taking care of it after I complained. And yes they said the alignment was way off. So they just churn and burn these cars out without much certification. Also be prepared for the finance manager who won't take NO for an answer when it comes to the warranty. He even hit us up the next day again asking! Thats too much, NO means NO! read more

This happened 10 years ago and I still remember this like yesterday.  I went in to buy a Lexus SUV. The dealership was empty as I walked in with my family.  A salesman greeted me and we proceeded to the usual cat and mouse non-committal game.  When it came to running the numbers, there was a huge push towards proving "I couldn't possibly afford a Lexus with my income". We've purchased several new cars from out-of-state locations during the past few years and have had a wide variety of results. We have purchased upscale used cars out of Portland, L.A. and now Modesto and I have to say Modesto Lexus gave us the absolute best dealer experience we've dealt with. We live in Las Vegas so when you are flying into another town and/or renting a car one-way you hope that there are no negative surprises or delays as you are pretty committed to the purchase by the time you arrive. In L.A., we had a bait and switch kind of experience where the car didn't have several of the options listed (i.e. sun roof, keyless entry, etc.) and they attempted to jack us around on the agreed-upon finance terms. Valley Lexus sold us the exact car they said they would at the exact deal and they had all the paperwork ready to go. It was an extremely quick and pleasant in and out and it allowed us to get back on the road quickly so we could drive our new baby home (a 500 mile trek). And, even though we didn't purchase a Lexus (it was a Corvette), they ended the whole thing with a definite "December to Remember" by putting a red bow on the vehicle!
