In Las Cruces to finalize my move and I was at an AirBnB. I didn't want to get back out and drive around town looking for a bite for a football Sunday. So a friend there recommended I have Valley Pizza bring me a pie. What a treat! Not only did I find a great pizza place that will deliver but I stopped worrying about finding a new favorite pizza place in my new hometown. Had the supreme - with added green chiles - delivered. They arrived before they said they would and it was still plenty hot and not messed up in the sturdy delivery box. Score! The crust was crisp and held up to a lot of fresh toppings. There was everything good about this pizza. They have calzones, wings, salads and wraps and sammies. None of it will break the bank. I can't wait to go in the place and eat. This could be one of the best hole in the wall pizza places in the town. It's not too expensive, not too big on the inside, and the staff is very friendly in what they recommend for pizza. It might take a little while to get a pizza if the place is busy, but it's still worth your buck. We had the meat lovers style pizza with ham, sausage, pepperoni and all the other meats. It's not a large pizza for what a medium would be considered; we finished our whole pie. I loved how the pizza wasn't too crispy, and how the meats integrated with the rest of the pizza for a nice filling. I sort of wish I had some bread on the side to go with it, but I enjoyed every bite of their pizza. Next time I'm going to see what other sides they might have such as bread, or something to go good with a pizza. If anyone has any suggestions at this place, let me know. This is the 3rd time that I try ordering from this local place and they screw up my order. It's either wrong, incomplete or not delivered during the promised time. Today I decided to pick up and I showed up 10 minutes later. I was told it would be at least another 20 minutes. I told the. To cancel and the said they couldn't refund my credit card. The clerk at Days Inn told me this place has the best pizza in town. I'm not sure about the others, but she might be right. The food here is mighty fine. I ordered a half house salad, which was huge (I ate half of that, ie a quarter salad) the next day. The Mediterranean pizza was to die for, and they made it exactly as I'd requested (I also had to split that into two meals). I had the wings, too, and they were cooked perfectly. They were tasty, but were sitting in a puddle of buffalo sauce. That's better than the opposite, though, IMO. I'll definitely hit this joint again, next time I'm in town. read more

We love valley pizza, this is the only pizza we eat in Las Cruces unless I make it myself. I think the sauce is tasty and I like the thickness of the pizza, not too thin and not too thick. My wife and I decided to try the pizza at Valley Pizza today for lunch. We started our lunch with a salad to share. It was a nice salad, especially compared to those usually served at a pizza place. My love for Valley Pizza started when the business was originally in front of Mayfield High School with their $5 large pizza specials they had for lunch. Every time I'm in town, I have to stop by! The pizza crust is soft and delicious, there's never any inconsistency with it. Never doughy or over cooked and or greasy! They added specials and also deliveries for $1 in Dona Ana county. I wanted to like the pizza, and even tried the chicken wings too, but neither were very good sorry to report. The place came highly recommended on local social media. Where to begin: the store's website is funky. In order to obtain coupons, you must download Capital One app that requests access to your private data on your computer. No thanks. I called in the order. The gal on the phone said my pizza would be ready in about 20 minutes. It's a 15 minute drive, so I showed up 5 minutes early but was told they got very busy so I would have to wait. The young lady waiting on my had her back to me so I wasn't sure if she was talking to me or someone else; no eye contact with the customer equates to third rate customer service. I realized they just started my pizza order so I had to wait another 20 minutes in the store. No employees wore masks even though there is a state mandate to do so as of this writing. I have comorbidities as a cancer survivor so I depend on public retail/restaurants to follow public health guidance which they did not do at Valley Pizza. Most customers wore a mask while I was there, a couple did not. I drove home and by the time I arrived the pizza wasn't hot but my wife and I were hungry. We tried the pizza and wings but found the flavor to be just mediocre. My second slice, I had to remove a long hair from. So I'm not a fan and I won't return to Valley Pizza ever again. read more

Definitely one of my favorite places to eat at in las Cruces. Their pepperoni slices are huge! They are also one of the very few pizza places that offers ricotta cheese as a topping. The pepperoni and ricotta is definitely my go-to choice. It's always a treat to eat here. Definitely recommend. Be sure you call ahead because they close kind of early. read more

We got valley pizza for my sons birthday and this is a place me and my husband remember from going to mayfield. I tell you he would spend over 30$ on the cheese sticks alone. But this time we decided to get a large meat pizza a large supreme and 10 wings with a soda for around 50$ I placed the order and when I arrived at the store and paid my hand already full the gal at the register handed me a cold soda from the fridge and held the door open for me. I thought it was so nice. Very disappointed in their sliced pizzas. Their pizza is almost sliced for a child. So not worth the price. If you come here, order a whole pizza. I've been here a couple of times with company and ordered a few pepperoni pizzas. Honestly, I'm not a pepperoni fan, will only tolerate it. Waited 30 minutes for it... then they said it stuck to the grill and they had to make me another one... Wanted to order for delivery since we live in the area and this experience turned out to be very disappointing. Might want to make a clarification to their menu under their "build your own-$14" for which we ordered with an additional topping. We assumed build your own was CUSTOMIZED. We placed the order for delivery and then had to call back because they failed to get our address for delivery and take our payment. We waited an hour and a half only to get a pizza kit. We called back and were told we could take it back and have it cooked for an additional charge even though we were given something we didn't want, or wasn't specified. I didn't notice the price as a giveaway being that we were given an employee discount, and free delivery so I thought wow what a bargain for a 2 topping pizza!? I don't live in Las Cruces, so this was my first time here. I ordered a large pepperoni pizza for my family and a veggie sandwich combo for me. I went around 7:15pm and didn't have to wait long to place my order. Quite a few people came in for pickup orders while I waited. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere is divey, but fun. It took about 15 minutes for my order to be cooked. My family really liked the pizza and commented more than once about the size of the pepperoni slices (they were huge). I really enjoyed my veggie sandwich. They only had 4 chip options (regular Lay's, Sour Cream and Onion Lay's, Cheetos and Fritos). The drink options were a lot more diverse. They have a cooler full of soda cans, La Croix, Monster drinks, Gatorade, Jarritos and Topo Chico. If I lived here, this would definitely be a place I would frequent. read more

Small hole in the wall that was closest to our campground. We ordered a pizza with breadsticks to eat in. The pizza was great; we got the Vegetarian Pie and it was seriously extremely tasty. After devouring our pizza we still hadn't received the breadsticks, after about 10 minutes or so. Come to find out they were sitting in the pile for delivery. Glad we asked for them again because we might not have ever received them. The staff was semi-friendly. It was a snowy evening and they were getting pretty busy so I guess that didn't help. Valley Pizza is kind of your typical pizza parlor....nothing fancy. Approximately five tables inside and a couple out front for dining. The place is kept reasonably clean. But, as a dining spot....the kind where you want to linger and enjoy a meal? Forget about it. This is for the most casual dining only. The menu is essentially pizza and calzones. Large is the only size pizza they offer. They do offer some salads, a few sandwiches, and wings. Over the years there have been numerous complaints about the inexperienced and amateurish service at Valley Pizza, but if you get by that they do have pretty good pizza. I suggested several years ago that the place may want to shape up the youngsters who work there but it appears that nothing has changed. The pizza dough is freshly made and hand tossed. It is fresh and has a nice flavor. The pizzas I've ordered seem to have had a lot of oil near the center causing the tips of the slices to collapse and flop down as the slice is removed from the box. The pizza sauce has been slightly tart. Overall, however, this is one of the better pizzas around town. I once ordered a calzone which comes with mozzarella and ricotta....paid extra for sausage. The dough was fresh and had a nice flavor. The cheese and the sausage fillings were less than desirable. Accompanying the calzone was a cup of tomato sauce and a cup of aioli sauce. The toamto sauce was what you would expect, but the aioli sauce was much better as a dipping sauce. At the end of the day I found the calzone quite ordinary and I have not ordered one since. Stick with the pizza. What to expect if you go: Not much a place for dining, reasonable prices, only one size for pizzas, a limited menu, quite good pizza with fresh dough, and amateurish service. Restaurant rating = THREE-AND-A-QUARTER STARS.....meaning, for the dining experience.....a tad above mediocre. But, the pizza is good if you live close enough to take it out.
