Would not recommend this business, took my car for a service and my car immediately malfunctioned. I took it to my dealership and they let me know that valvoline incorrectly serviced my car, called the customer support line to start a claim, the GM of this location called me to tell me they're taking no accountability and was pretty defensive when I questioned him on the service tech being unsure how to handle my car and even having to call someone for guidance. I am not one to leave negative reviews. However the toxicity between employees was thick in the air. Also they took over a half hour to complete just an oil change and put air in the tires and there was only one other vehicle here and plenty of staff. Perhaps it was just an off day, but there are plenty of other Valvoline locations in Louisville that I have had significantly better experiences with. read more

I pulled in. I was the only vehicle there. They scrambled around for a couple of seconds and then another car pulled in about five minutes later another car pulled in. I was getting an oil change and tires rotated. It took them an hour to change my oil and rotate my tires. there were six other vehicles were serviced in the meantime never returning to this place again. Too many excuses although I felt like I was completely ignored. If you don't have enough, people shut down one of the bays and concentrate on your first customers. Every time I come here I have great service. 2 of the managers there, Austin and Val always get me right. I've been coming here for years and I've only had one issue and they were quick to resolve it, no questions asked. What can I say? They're quick, reliable and very professional. I will not go back to Valvoline in Middletown. Last 2 times the Explorer was taken there we told them it was leaking. Last time my wife brought it home and it leaked in the garage again. I took it up and told them it was still leaking. I pulled it into the bay, they 'checked' again and said, it's dry, we see no leak. I took it it to Ken Towery today. There was a leak. It was due to the drain plug and they replaced it. I called Valvoline to let them know. I've been going there over 10 years. I wanted to give them a chance to make it right. Manager called me back. Says they won't do anything about it because he can't be sure it was their fault. I've been going to your shop for 10 years. Do you think now I'm going to try to scam you for a free oil change? Unfortunate chain of events. I won't be back. I don't recommend Valvoline in Middletown. read more

Had oil change and had to ask them 3 times to check air in tires. They kept saying they did already but I watched and finnaly on 3rd time they checked and said 3 tires were low and I should go have the tires checked as they must be leaking fast since they just checked them. After filling tires with air they never leaked so obviously they lied. A week later oil was leaking about half quart a day. Took to Goodyear where my friend works and was told whoever did oil change last damaged the oil filter holder. Had to have it replaced which costs $700+ for parts and labor. read more

I went to Valvoline for an oil change. My service while I was there was great, but a few weeks later, I almost got in a wreck. I was going 80 on the interstate when suddenly something underneath my car started dragging. It sounded like metal hitting pavement. So i immediately pulled off into an emergency lane and looked under my car and saw that my skid plate was hanging on by a "stripped bolt" (triple A came to the rescue). Whoever changed my oil DID NOT tighten my Bolts all the way or didn't put them back in. So I almost wrecked and now I have to pay someone to replace it when it wasn't my fault. If you go here, just be aware that a professional job will not be done. read more

Let's do the math. There's no way a typical oil change is 15min. Expect to be there a minimum of an hour. This is false advertising. Store hours on Saturday is 11hrs or 660minutes. Three bays mean 3 changes per hour giving 20min. That's 99 oil changes per day. NOT a chance!! People where nice. But don't get your hopes up of getting out of here in 15min. I'm second car at 8:22am and have already been here 50min and they haven't even started. read more

Great service! It was fast & the staff was very knowledgeable & friendly. My husband, who has always changed his own oil, will only come here. He works out of town so the fast service & location is so convenient. Much cheaper than the dealerships & more dependable than Walmart. I've always had a good experience here however recently my wife stopped by to get a tire checked and the guy who guided her in was beyond rude, started yelling at her for coming in too fast although I've got video of her entering the bay showing she was slower than I would have gone entering the bay. She was fine, nice and slow but for whatever reason this jack leg decided to be nasty to her. I can only assume he has an issue with women. read more

I came in for an oil change on my lunch break and it took much longer than an hour. They apologized for the delay, but they were extremely short-staffed and it resulted in unacceptable wait times. I had a $10 off coupon, but they offered me $15 for the wait. I will take my car to the dealership the next time I need an oil change. They will bring me to work and pick me up, so I'm not wasting work time getting the car maintained. read more

Very under staffed and poor knowledge of vehicles. Took my truck in to get an oil change that took a least an hour. There were 4 people working when we arrived but 1 was told to "clock out immediately" for yelling obscenities from the pit area. So down to 3 that were nice but not very efficient. After paying $139 for an oil change in my diesel truck I had to go home and make sure everything was put back properly as they made me feel very uncertain that it was done correctly. After i got my oil changed here i went home to replace my airfilter since they said it was dirty. Good thing i did because my filter box was never put back together by them. I let that go. Decided to change my own oil this time, wont be doing that since they put my drain plug on so tight that i cant get it to budge. Thats what i get for taking the cheap easy way out. read more

Wow what great customer service. First time here with the new car and they got it all right. Polite person taking the information - she assured us she would return shortly when she greeted another person who just drove up. As they continued to get busier, they were attentive to everyone. I ask about recycling the cardboard and she had a great answer about spilling oil and so they couldnt recycle them. She assured me that they wouldn't throw oil soaked rags into regular garbage. They even knew how to reset the maintenance reminder on our Toyota and walked us through that. Great service! We have a new app for coupons and they quickly accepted that. read more
