Upon inspection by James Chrysler dealership service center, it was determined that the oil adaptor had been overtightened, causing it to crack and leak oil. The repair cost is estimated at $1,604.95 plus tax. Attempts to Resolve: I contacted Aurora Oil and Lube to inform them of the issue. Initially, they agreed to inspect the car but later denied responsibility, attributing the problem to wear and tear. Multiple requests for them to inspect the damage at the service center were denied. They suggested taking the car to a different service center in Lisle, IL, which is not feasible as the car is undrivable due to the oil leak. I contacted their corporate office and requested a callback, but my calls have not been returned. Warranty Violation: According to their website, the service center warrants that services and products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for one month or 1,000 miles, whichever comes first. They said it was the tire alert. They looked at the tires, checked the pressure, and told me all was well. They said the alert would go off soon. Today the alert was still on. I called Don's Auto Ade where I bought my tires and they fit me into their busy schedule. They found a nail in my tire causing a slow leak. They quickly fixed it. While they fixed it I enjoyed their waiting room filled with snacks, comfy couches, tv, magazines, and clean restrooms. Everyone that works there takes extra time to make sure you know what is going on with your car. The prices are very reasonable. I also do all my oil changes at Don's.

They can guarantee an oil change in under 30 minutes. Some sh*t happened to my poor Mazda a couple months ago and I had to have it towed for repair. Although it took a few days, they were able to replace a new ball joint and they charged me a reasonable amount for parts & labor. Fast forward to now, and I'm getting a standard oil & filter change. When they rang me up, I mentioned that the owner had said he'd "help me out" next time I came in. At first I got some blank stares, but after a few minutes of deliberation they came back and dropped the price from $101 to $86. This beat the $5 off online coupon, so I'm glad I asked. I'm not sure they topped off any fluids (brake, wiper) and my car's interior definitely hadn't been vacuumed. I already knew their car wash was out-of-order, so I didn't expect a sparkling exterior. Got home there was no coolant in my reservoir !!! I would have driven around, thinking my car had extra fluid in the reservoir and did not. I put in a half a gallon of coolant that I happen to have at the house. Not to mention, I paid for two jugs of coolant. They did not mention the previous quote for work that I needed done on my engine at all. Everything else was fine, so they said. The courtesy ride was not offered with me until after I dropped my car off, and that was if they had time. This was my fourth time at this shop and I was really happy with them and how thorough they checked out my car. This time I felt like it was under a different management and the care previously was no longer. I put my faith and trust in your shop. While in another state visiting, I took my car to my brother, who is a licensed mechanic, and found two engine gasket leaks, and some issues with my suspension.
