Was here for over an hour and a half for them to patch a tire that they said was a small easy fix. There were only 2 people in the waiting room when I got here. Those 2 people have been long gone for over an hour. There were ATLEAST 10 people who walked in AFTER I was sitting here waiting and all 10 if not more of them were out BEFORE me. I WISH I WAS KIDDING!!!!!! Most of them had oil changes which I believe would take much longer. My car was just sitting there untouched while NO ONE kept me updated or told me ANYTHING. I expected to be in and out cause they said it was a quick fix and there was only 2 people in front of me. Now i'm running late for work. I got here @11:50am just left @ 1:39pm. Offered no compensation didn't get a sorry for the wait. NOTHING. I asked for something/anything because wtf that was 2 hrs of my time& I'm late for work. They gave me $10 off... Thanks ig ... it was only a $30 service so idrc. I originally came in 2 days ago because I ran over a stick that I thought popped my tire. They filled the tire pressure and said everything looked fine after checking it out but when I got home I had a flat. Not pleased with the service at all and didn't even offer any compensation. Brought my car in yesterday for a oil change and as always they pull the cabin and engine air filters and up sell you. Since it's been awhile since I changed them I had them do the job. I get home and notice the glove compartment is open and won't close. I look further and see that they pulled the cabin filter but never replaced it! Called the store and they seemed to know about it and I asked when they were going to tell me - no answer. Went back today and they finished the job and did not charge me for the over priced filters. Brought my car in for an oil change in June. By July the oil light was going off again. Took it back in. They topped off the oil. A couple of quarts. When I asked them why it needed oil again so soon the answer was - some cars burn oil that fast. This was an Audi w less than 50k miles. Turns out the cracked the oil filter housing. Had to have it repaired and when I talked to the Mgr I was told that I voided their warranty by having it repaired elsewhere. I have been going to this Jiffy Lube for YEARS! Never again. read more

I sent my mom to go get an oil change and to get her fluids topped off at this Jiffy Lube location. When she gets back home she told me about her experience and said that a young man named THEO worked on her car. She said when she pulled up to the garage the technicians were messing around and laughing while there was customers waiting for their cars. Worried by some of the things she mentioned, I immediately popped the hood of her car. I checked her car's dipstick and the oil looked clean. However, the rest of the fluids were not topped off. I found that to be a little weird, because they told my mom they topped them all off for her. I know that at Jiffy Lube top offs are included with the oil change. My mom mentioned that THEO did not put her cabin filter back in her vehicle, which she never asked them to change in the first place. I went back with her car after I noticed these things. When I asked about the cabin filter they said it was too damaged and couldn't be reinserted. They said they told my mom she could buy a new one for $50 and tried to tell me the same. I asked them to show me the filter from the trash can and it looked like it was ripped up on purpose. It wasn't really dirty and it actually looked new, except for the tears. It was definitely not due for a change yet! I wouldn't be surprised if they ripped it while removing it and wanted to try to blame it from regular usage. They also left a huge plastic piece on her passenger floor from when they removed the filter. Not sure what it was, but it was definitely from them not reassembling everything correctly. I pointed it out to them and made them fix it for me. I asked them to fill the fluids AGAIN (power steering, brake fluid, and coolant). The manager said they should have been filled the first time and he was sorry that was not the case. He also said to fill coolant would be an additional five dollars. (which my mom was aware of during her oil change earlier). I said that's fine, fill the coolant. I get back home after they finally filled the fluids. I pop the hood again to show my mom. Except, this time her fluids went from below minimum to way above the maximum fill line. Both the brake fluid and the power steering fluid were at the cap level. They almost leaked when you put the caps on. They also did NOT fill the coolant, as I requested. It was my mistake for not checking all of the fluids before I left, but I did not think they would mess up again after already doing so earlier. I called back once I got home and the manager claims he did not understand I wanted the coolant filled too. When I said I noticed the other fluids were overfilled, he said that it doesn't matter if they are overfilled. Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought overfilling fluids (especially the power steering almost 2 inches above the maximum line) can damage your vehicle long term? The manager said I could bring the car back for a THIRD time. He said they would actually fill the coolant this time free of charge. They did not mention correcting their mistake of the overfilled fluids. At this point, I did not want them touching my mom's car anymore. I decided to go to an auto store and buy my own coolant and a new cabin filter for her car. I also ended up having to remove all of the excess fluid myself, as a precaution. To make matters worse, they also tried to upsell my mom on a tire rotation with her oil change. (She gets tire rotations for free at Costco already). They also wanted to fill her nitrogen tires with normal air. Jiffy Lube has lost my business after this mess today. read more

I've gone to jiffy lube for oil changes, batteries, and brakes. Their work is quick and thorough. By comparison, other battery places(pep boys) take over an hour to put in a battery. Jiffy Lube took 10 minutes, and the price was better. I also like that they don't recommend unnecessary work. Each time I have went I was extremely happy- they are fast but professional, they NEVER made me feel uncomfortable- as a woman in her last 20's I have never been able to just visit my dealership without the service director saying "you need this, you need that, let's get that done today while you're here... blah blah blah" Here at this Jiffy- none of that bs. Wait for this... are you ready- They actually get the job done and don't make you feel stupid when it comes to your car. They don't low blow you into thinking something is wrong with your vehicle. They have coupons online on their website. I have had the pleasure with dealing with Xavier the manager and his loyal team here at jiffy lube. My 3-star rating is because I had previously come to this particular Jiffy Lube several times without incident - however, unfortunately with my last visit (about a week ago), I received sub-par service. I got right in and paid for the Signature Service Oil Change and wasn't sitting for very long when they said my car was ready. I got in, and immediately noticed my floor hadn't been vacuumed (it's one of the reasons why I've liked going to Jiffy Lube, and my car - although it wasn't too dirty, needed it). I went back in, pointed this out to them, and they had me pull my car back around so that they could do so. They brought my car out again, I thanked them, then started to drive off - however, then I noticed that my tire's low air pressure light was still on, so I pulled my car over, got out, and my tire didn't look like it'd been filled - something they are supposed to do anyway, but I specifically double-checked with them (about both this and the vacuuming) prior to pulling in the first time to make sure it'd be taken care of. So I go to the nearby gas station's air pump to check my pressure, and...nope, tire pressure is still low. At this point I'm annoyed and honestly was thinking about just filling my tires myself so I wouldn't have to deal with going back again, but because it was cold and raining out (and the air wasn't free), I decided just to take it back. I go back, explain what's wrong this time, and they have me pull around the front (since all the bays were full). A different guy comes out and is nice about the situation and fills my tire up, but this honestly makes me reconsider whether or not to come back. After I got home I checked my receipt (which obviously they had printed out after I paid and before the first time I had to come back), which claimed that all of the services listed - including vacuuming and checking/filling tire air pressure - had been completed. Makes me wonder what else they didn't do this time and what else hadn't been done in the past. :( read more

Went in for oil change and to replace a tail light. I checked all my lights before going in and told them I just need a tail light replaced and oil change. Well they said 2 of my lights are out, changed break lights not tail lights, installed the wrong lights and never even replaced the tail light I told them too. I noticed my signal light was blinking fast when I breaked and quickly went back in and told them they messed up. They then said it's a wiring issue or fuse and it was broken before. I never ever had these problems before. I checked my fuses which were all good and I looked at the lights and they look nothing like my other lights. I went in to get my lights replaced and they decided to break it instead. Not to mention when I first pulled in it was very obvious all the employees besides 2 were stoned out of there mind. Like couldn't keep there eyes open and laughed at everything. I didn't get a refund and was told I was stupid when leaving. I've also watched them tell people they can't change there lights or oil because it's too challenging for some of the employees and come back another day when someone more experienced is working! I wish they said the same to me because now I'm driving home at night missing a tail light and no left signal!!! read more

The worse. Stay away from this place. Visited this weekend because my car was making a crazy loud noise and to have them determine why my air conditioner wasn't working. They informed me that cars sound like that if the oil isn't changed often or my car may be loud because it's older and the engine is getting worn. I can't explain how annoyed I was because I always change my oil on time and my car is only 8 years old. I was further annoyed when the "mechanic" told me I shouldn't worry about the noise (which sounded like a plane taking off) and that my air could be fixed with a little freon and charge. After leaving the shop my car began to smell like burnt rubber and chemicals. Later in the day it stopped driving completely and I had to be towed. Contrary to their assessment, my AC Compressor was broke and it locked and the drive belt slipped and it was burning. That was my first and my last visit to Jiffy Lube. I don't think they know what they are doing at all. I would not even let them do an oil change. The only positive thing about the experience was that they were pleasant and friendly. read more

Took it in for oil change, tire rotation and asked that they check out our freon because our AC had not been working very well. They came back and said the freon was totally full and I must have a leak in the AC line. So, I took it in to an auto shop - just heard. There was NO freon in the car (!). Now, I've wasted time and money for what could have been a very easy fix. read more

Went in for an oil change today: I have been a happy regular customer for the last 3 years but I was extremely dissatisfied with the service I had today. There was no communication between employees in making sure all of my requests were met I asked for a window sticker for date reference and I was refused one. I then asked for a piece of paper with the date and was told they didn't have tape to stick it on the windshield with. Their customer service nature was extremely immature and I feel that because of their lacking communication, they were unable to provide an experience worthy of the jiffy lube name. There is no excuse for poor customer service and I will be searching for a new auto shop because of this experience. read more

We had a massive storm come through our area yesterday and I had branches and leaves covering the undercarraige of my SUV. Stay away from this store on 75th street in Naperville. I have been to this location on multiple occasions simply because of it's convenient location, but my husband and I are convinced that I have been shorted oil on at least 2 occasions. He noticed a clicking sound in the engine when I came home from work, and determined the oil was extremely low. One of these occasions was the very next day after I was in for the oil change. They give the appearance of being thorough, but how can this happen on multiple trips? I personally think the employees get a bonus for every filter they sell you because they constantly try to upsell you on everything, and they probably make extra money for being stingy with the oil. Checked the hours online before going to the Jiffy Lube on Ogden in Naperville and said open til 8:00. When I got there at 7 they were closing. Said it is wrong online. Showed them a coupon I just printed for $20.13 for Signature Oil Change and he questioned me where I got it and that he probably would have to charge me more. Then he started arguing with me and complaining that they would all have to stay late to do my car. I said forget it and walked out. I wish I could give ZERO stars.. DISGUSTING ESTABLISHMENT DO. NOT. GO. HERE!!! THEY WILL RUIN YOUR CAR AND TREAT YOU HORRIBLY!!! I needed an oil change before heading for a trip up north. My car had recently been checked out by a RELIABLE, EXPERIENCED mechanic who I have trusted for several years. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the vehicle. When I arrived, I was immediately treated terribly by the manager of the shop. He was so condescending and ignorant towards me. I asked for the most basic oil change, and each time he would come back inside and try to get me to pay for additional things. He would not take no for an answer, and when he had my car in his possession, he would not give it back to me unless I paid $300+ to change my breaks (WHICH DID NOT NEED TO BE CHANGED). He was so creepy towards me, and being extremely inappropriate, but proceeded to tell me that "he is the store manager, so he can do whatever he wants." He proceeded to overcharge me an extra $20 for a basic oil change, and refused to use a coupon. The settings on my dashboard had been reset in my car when I was finally able to get back in it, and about an hour later, the car began making a very unpleasant squeaking noise. It then began repeatedly clicking and making a "whoosh" sound. This went on for about 30 seconds and then the car began smoking and leaking fluid from beneath. The car had to be towed because it was to unsafe to drive, and I later had the same reliable mechanic that checked the car previously tell me every belt from underneath the hood had been snapped, almost as if they were cut with scissors. The repairs cost $2,100, for something that could have been entirely unavoidable. I am a college student, so the fact that I was so obviously screwed over and taken advantage of because of my age and my gender is absolutely disgusting. I will never ever return back to another Jiffy Lube location, and I will advise EVERYONE I know to stay away from this horrible company. This is a sick sick business, and I do not expect this to go unnoticed. read more

These guys do a great job, and are some of the most polite kids you'll ever come across. They don't just rush through the service to get you in and out, they take their time and check everything from burnt-out lights, to the screw they just found stuck in my tire. It's not the cheapest oil change in town, but it's decent and quick. The service people seem to know what they're doing and they are unfailingly polite. I don't feel like they are always trying to sell me something, either, and if I don't have a coupon they'll find one and apply it. The waiting room is pleasant enough, and clean. read more

I went to this Jiffy Lube location for an routine oil change on my Hyundai Elantra GT with only 30K miles. 3 weeks later I heard a pop while I was driving and immediately smelled oil with my engine making funny noises. I pulled over to find a large oil spill under my engine along with the engine smoking with oil all over it. Apparently, this Jiffy Lube did not replace my oil filter and did not securely fasten my oil drain plug. DO NOT go to this Jiffy Lube!!!! I've been dealing with Jiffy Lube's shady insurance company (Utica Insurance out of upstate New York) for a month trying to get them to pay for a new engine. Not only will they not pay for a new engine, but they've quoted me for a used engine that is not available with a 1 year warranty. All I wanted is to have my car like it was before I pulled into this Jiffy Lube. I'm severely frustrated and have not had a vehicle for over a month due to an employee's neglect or a manager not properly training their employees. What a f**king headache... read more
