They mocked me for breaking down over seeing the evidence of my teen's horrific accident
    Jennifer R.

My 17yo son was in an absolutely horrific motorcycle accident where a woman pulled out in front of him and sent him 50 feet into the air only to impact on a concrete pole. Police had what was left of his bike towed here. I had to go down there to photograph the bike for evidence while my son was in the trauma center. That lady, I have no words to describe how awful she was to me. She first rudely asked me why I wanted to see the bike, and she LAUGHED at me when I told her the details and that i needed to get photos. I was literally in tears and she snickered after telling me I couldn't see it because I didn't have his registration. I understood having to prove ownership, but when I tried to ask about other avenues (the registration was lost in the accident) she got extremely rude and literally just walked away from talking smack to me. How unfeeling do you have to be to mock a mother who's son was lying in a trauma bay and just wanted to see his bike. At least when I was finally able to get back there, when I completely broke down at the site, the guy who led me back gave me space to try and process what I was seeing. But that lady? She can rot.

Clear discrepancy in "hooked" versus "towed" that Roxy claims "doesn't matter" (then what's the point of records??)

A cop scam. They towed my car 2 miles, had it on their lot for 3.5 hours, and charged me $566.50 to get it back. There's a discrepancy on my invoice (see pic attached): it allegedly took 71 minutes to get my car to the lot (it's a 13 minute drive and I watched them leave with my car 15 minutes after arriving, so riddle me that) and they're charging me for 90 minutes. Additionally, my "hooked" time is 35 minutes AFTER the car was allegedly dropped at the lot ("arrived" on the invoice). The invoice didn't even get my name right; they wrote my first name as PULLOE. This entire operation is so slapdash and shoddy. I called in for clarification and Roxy (a certified see you next Tuesday) said it "doesn't matter" what my invoice says (????), they charge what the tow driver tells them to. She got frustrated when I refused to accept that as an answer and asked, "Do you work for a towing company? You can come down to the office Monday and they'll explain it to you" in an incredibly rude tone and generally spoke down to me the entire call. This company is just more money-grubbing pig-owned thievery. I'll call in to speak to a supervisor on Monday, but I doubt they'll do anything, at which point I'll be taking legal action.

I hope she doesn't help you.

The two ladies on duty pay no attention to me even though I was standing there for more than 10 mints.

I had to go through Toyota Care to schedule a tow to the nearest dealership. There was a bit of a hiccup in terms of getting a tow driver to my residence, but that was more a dispatch/scheduling issue through AAA. Anyway, I was told I needed a specific tow truck that has special equipment to get my car out of the garage etc. I get a call from Saeid with George and Joeys saying he's outside? Much sooner than anticipated. He was in a flat bad tow truck, which dispatch told me wouldn't work for my situation. Long story short, Saeid took a look at where the vehicle was located, checked out a couple things with the car, and found a solution to get the car positioned in a way that he could get it on the flat bed. He got it done pretty quickly and had me towed to the dealership. I rhode with him there, which made for great conversation. Saeid was prompt, courteous, and good at what he does. I wouldn't hesitate to use George/Joey's tow services again in the future!

The flimsy parking permit which is always hanging from the rear-view mirror apparently fell onto the floor of the vehicle. So, George & Joey's was called. In my experience, their drivers typically check inside vehicles with a flashlight before towing, but that procedure either was not followed in this case or was overlooked. Unfortunately, it was more like an opportunistic tow during the Memorial Day weekend. When I contacted the company, we were informed--just before retrieving the truck--that the cost would be $375.00. The representative admitted that the permit was visible the following morning, but claimed it could not be seen at night because the windows were tinted. That explanation simply does not hold up. I personally tested visibility by placing the permit back on the floor and using a low-powered flashlight, and the permit was still clearly visible through the window. Overall, this experience was a complete ripoff. I see why they have complaints, particularly around overcharging and unfair practices.
