He turned out to be an incredible resource while we were planning our kitchen remodel and trying to land on what specific appliances we'd ultimately purchase. From the start, we really appreciated his no-pressure / consultative approach. He never tried to sell us on anything but he was always available when we had product questions and was quick to share his expert knowledge and advice. Whenever we approached him during our showroom visit, he was super responsive and always got us the answers we needed. Before Ferguson's, we stopped by a more conveniently located appliance store and had a pretty crap experience. The salesperson we approached was too busy surfing the internet at his desk to even get up and help us. He half-answered a couple of questions from his chair before we decided to leave. It wasn't the kind of service I was looking for when I'm trying to spend some $$. (Okay...rant over.) Back to Raj--he made what could have been a pretty stressful and expensive process feel easy like a Sunday morning. He took great care of us every step of the way and we ended up purchasing our entire kitchen appliance package from him: wall ovens, range hood, refrigerator, and dishwasher. Seriously, he made prying open my wallet seem a lot less painful. If you're shopping for appliances, I highly recommend calling Ferguson Home and **making an appointment with Raj**. He genuinely cares about his customers, knows his products inside and out, and makes the whole experience enjoyable instead of stressful. He will take care of you - his customer service is off the charts! Raj - BIG thanks again for an excellent sales experience!

I'm a sucker for household goods stores, so of course I loved this upscale kitchen/home store! My…read morekid purchased her fancy shmancy coffee/espresso machine here, so she knew I'd enjoy checking this place out. And she was RIGHT. Think HomeGoods or HomeSense stores, but much MUCH higher end. That about encapsulates this place. The store itself is one large, open concept floor. It has all sorts of kitchen gadgets and linens, gourmet foods/condiments, patio furniture and gardening accessories, home furnishings and household accessories. Nothing is cheap here, literally or figuratively. Everything is super well-made, but very pricey. My kid saw a pizza platter here for $20 that she purchased the day before at HomeGoods for $4.99. The exact same item. That said, this place carries a lot of brands and items that you cannot find elsewhere, and the staff are extremely knowledgeable about their product lines. I liked their selection of retro wall clocks in a rainbow of colors, each for about $50 (I thought that was reasonable). Also, note that their sale prices on items are excellent deals. And they also carry smaller scale, cute gift things, on carousels by the front counter. I got my friend a cute pair of socks here.

I had a little time to kill in the Pearl District before checking out of the hotel, and wandered past this beautiful Kohler showroom with its tempting, gorgeous displays of all things bath and kitchen. Of course, since remodeling my boring little grey-on-grey kitchen is definitely on my fantasty/someday list, I had to go inside. This display room is tightly packed (perhaps a little TOO tightly packed!) with displays of beautiful bathrooms, kitchens, tile, faucets, countertops, cabinets, and other accessories to take your home's most-used rooms from "meh" to "OMG". I marveled at the various types of options available - from traditional set-ups to toilets that open/close when you walk by. (Okay, I'll admit that feature was a bit disconcerting. Not sure I would want the self-opening toilet in my own home but it would be fabulous if you lived with someone who kept forgetting to put the seat down...or...up.) I was also impressed with the tile and other things they sold, which you wouldn't necessarily associate with Kohler since they're a plumbing company. (And, btw, a great one. I recently installed a Kohler toilet and it's been quite lovely. Despite no auto up/down seat feature.) The prices here, of course, are pretty high end. But that's the point. This isn't Home Depot. This showroom is focused on design (including helpful staff on hand to help you design your dream room from start to finish). Speaking of the staff, they were very nice and quite friendly even though I was clearly there just to gawk and fantasize about spending six figures on a dream kitchen one day!

I was falsely promised, " Upon arrival, you call or text the store-specific number provided in your confirmation, and an associate will bring the items out to your car ". This was not the case. It has inner city street parking with no dedicated pickup area. I am older. I struggled to walk my heavy items to my car. One of the staff members wheeled the items to the door. She left. I had to struggle to open the door with my heavy awkward boxed item. Ian was very helpful arranging the items for pick up. He was customer service oriented. The showroom was beautiful. The store was very non descript, a sea of creams and tans, with an occasional light sage thrown in. They do have fabric samples for their furniture so you can choose different colors and patters, but it's the neutrals that rule the store, including the art. Personally, I found CB2 void of, well, personality. Other than the fun barware and a pair of rounded swivel chairs, nothing drew me in. Be aware that beds, chairs and couches are definitely lower to the ground, in the 15 and 16" height range, so if you have knee issues, they probably won't work for you.
