I'm no shoe person. A pair of Keds and I'm set! I went here looking for a Christmas Gift for my "sneakerhead" boyfriend who wears a size 13 (hard to find). I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I kept picking up random shoes and asking for a size 13. The VERY helpful lady kept going to the back room and coming back empty handed. Finally, I got lucky and found a pair of Burgundy size 13's. Looked all around the store for a matching shirt in an XXL. But there were none on the floor so again the VERY helpful woman went to the back to look. She came back with 3 different shirts. I'm not sure about everyone who works there but Nichole is THE BEST!!!! I would recommend this location to everyone :-) read more

This place is a nightmare. Really nice staff who are also unbelievably helpless. You can't get anyone to grab shoes from the back in a timely manner. No one knows how to help you size. They leave to look for a shoe or size then never return or return 10-15 minutes later. Even when the store has only two customers in the entire place. So frustrating. And a bummer because they are all really nice. I will never shop here again. read more

The Biggest Christmas let down by Vans off the wall. They use the company yodel to deliver, I work in a 24hr building with a security which will always take packages and being the supervisor for the site I'm well known and the parcel wouldn't be refused. I bought a pair of shoes in the black Friday sales in November Paid and waiting for delivery. I forgot about the order and looked back 2 weeks and still no delivery so I talk to customer services to which they said no one was there to take the delivery and that it was sent back to Vans Depot. I doubled checked the date given on CCTV and no delivery was ever attempted with a fully manned site on the tracking date. So I put this to Vans they blamed Yodel and offered a Refund. but as a Christmas present all I wanted is the pair that yodel sent back to depot, the call taker (I won't name, Names) said she would contact the depot and find out if this is possible, 2 days pass still waiting for depot, 5 days past still waiting for depot and the tracking says successfully at depot at this point. Today no phone calls just a refund which will take 3 to 5 working days to arrive. I bought the shoes in the colour and size I needed now unavailable in both size and colour and shot up in price by £30 from the price I paid in the sales. I feel like I have been lied to and basically told to go away with this refund which I didn't ask for, all I wanted is the Christmas present I paid for. Took my almost two year old daughter to find her a cool pair of vans, they had lots off kids shoes so I thought I was in luck!Young black gentleman greeted me as we walked in, brought out a few pairs of shoes and unfortunately we needed a size smaller. He was trying his hardest to get us what we wanted and help four other sets of guest.He was overwhelmed but held his composure,I have to say the manager who was in sweats chillin and not being receptive to guests was standing there talking to the cashier person and did nothing to help this man. We found a pair but the loop on the back of the shoe was busted and they did not have another that same size. My daughter was being really good and patient surprisingly, lol. However being this man was so busy and trying to help everyone I decided maybe another time they will have more support for sales to find what we needed, I really wanted to buy a few pairs for my kid, lost sale for sure.The sales guy was so nice he even complemented my daughter.I'm in a customer service industry myself and have to say someone here needs to delegate who is to support sales people when busy , manager to be the cashier and the guy taking boxes of shoes back to help wherever needed, something. Awful management and 0%courtesy or customer service. I went there to return a pair of classics since they were to small and didn't fit. They first of staring to questioning where did I get the pair from, which they were a gift from vans outlet store, but I had the receipt, the box and they weren't worn. After 15 minutes waiting for "Mary" the (manager in turn) she was extremely rude, saying that she can only make an exchange, Mary was heavily arguing that they were worn. Mary got very loud while I was trying to explain her that they don't even fit therefore couldn't have been worn. Mary was so rude that it got to a point on which she was talking over me constantly and put my item on the bag saying that I can take my shoes and walk out of the door!! It was very embarrassing since there were a lot in the ppl in the store and Mary wasn't concern about her tone or her attitude towards me. Mary literally took me out of the register telling me to have a better day and calling the next customer behind me! So I still have a brand new pair of shoes that doesn't fit at all, thanks to an incredible rude manager that has no sense of customer service. Wow, terrible terrible customer service. I pop into the Vans store pretty often, I love Vans have been wearing them since I was a kid in the 80's and was ready to buy a pair right on the spot. Today was just awful. I had one girl helping for about 5 minutes before she literally said "that's it I'm quitting" and storm off into the back to never be seen again. After about 10 minutes and watching several employees walk right past me not offering to see if I needed anything I asked another guy for assistance. I gave him the shoe size and model and he returned with a wrong size. He then asked me if I was sure that size wouldn't work. I just had to laugh out of frustration and kindly let him I know I'm pretty positive on my shoe size. I don't know maybe I'm old but it seems like the kids Vans hires today lack regular common sense and work ethic. I get it it's a retail job, but how hard is it to get a pair of shoes from the back room? For now on I'll be going to 510 Skate shop or buy online. read more

Had the worst customer service at this location. I sat in the store with a shoe in my hand trying to get the attention of any sales associate. Finally I got the attention of a sales associate named Noah and asked him for the shoe I wanted. He told me he would get it and be right out. After almost 15 minutes passed I realized he clearly wasn't coming back. So i got the attention of another associate who helped and greeted everyone that came in BUT me and told her I asked for the shoe and my guy never came back. So she tells me she'll get it and I told her i also wanted a half size up. she says okay and walks off and comes from behind me with the original size I asked for. I tried it on and then realized it was given to me to try after a customer with some of the filthiest shoes on tried it! Then i look up and see my boy Noah helping someone else out! By then I was pretty upset but still patiently waited for her to bring the next size out. after another ten minutes I realized that wasn't happening and proceeded towards the register where a girl who altered identified herself as Aliyah was breaking down boxes. I told her I was basically ignored by two of the associates and I needed this shoe so I could go. and guess what happens? Aliyah gets an attitude with me and asks me if I even wanted the shoe. I was shocked and told her yes I needed the shoe and I needed to go. So she gets another associate to get the shoe for me. that's 4 people total I've had to go through for one shoe. I went through FOUR people for one pair of shoes. How ridiculous is that? But it's cool, I got all of their names and I love contacting corporate when sales associates decide to be rude :-) read more
