I stoped by to get some pupusas after buying my coffee next door. I ordered 2 pupusas revueltas and they were really good. The size is decent and you get a good amount of curtido and salsa. The service was also pretty fast. I think in about 10 minutes the food was ready. I think I will definitely come back and eat here specially because there is a lot of seating available. Parking might be a little tough depending on the time but I was lucky and found a spot right outside.

Bomb food coming out of this truck. The wait wasn't too long. Got to enjoy a michelada while we waited from next door. The yuca and chicharron plate was LOADED. Large juicy fatty crispy chicharron and crispy yucca. The revuelta pupusa is always my go to - cheese, beans, pork . The holy trinity. Also the plantains can't be missed. Such a yummy seeet treat and dipping them in the salty crema just makes for the best sweet and salty treat. Can't wait to visit again!

Want something small, that I can share with a friend, so we had ordered V CHO SLIDERS, First of all I order at 1:20 and gotten my food at 2 for sliders is kinda wild, and people after us were being called up with the same thing some sliders. We had gotten our sliders and they were big but ok. The description said creamy chipotle sauce and grilled mushrooms, but no where to be found, so they were dry and had tons of crispy onion. So good was portion size and good fries

Super good pupusa in Montebello. This spot is part of many restaurants in a food hall style eatery. My first impression was the pupusas were made pretty fast, usually other places have a long wait. At first taste, the pork and cheese pupusas were piping hot, delicious melty cheese and flavor popping pork. Overall, this spot is as good as the best places I've tried. Service was with a smile and people were very nice. This adds to the overall 5 star experience.

Saw everyone getting the steak fries . hopped on the train . Meat didn't taste like steak . I didn't really like it , fries were cold too so that didn't help .

DON'T GET THE SLIDERS!!!! Ordered from the truck at an event and it was nothing but a long wait to order and long wait to receive food. When the food was ready it was missing the ingredients as advertised bacon, mushrooms and onion strings. I asked for a refund and the chef offered me bacon. When I reached out to management they said the order given was correct. I don't know about you but spinach, cheese and cabbage are not the same as bacon, mushrooms and onion strings. Very disappointed

Classic, well-made pupusas and plantains. I was so happy to see them at Common Space Brewery! I ordered two Revuelta pupusas with a side of plantains. Despite the actual pupusas being delicious, the curtido looked and tasted like it had been sitting out for a minute. If it weren't for that, it would have been a perfect review!

Aside from not being able to pick what You want exactly from the yelp app, I do enjoy this place. The vibes, the plp, the service is really great. The pupusas are amazing as well. I love that they are filled with what You ask for. I'd go again for sure.

This location is not a truck, it is a permanent location created out of an old shipping container - repurposing at its best! Location is great, as it is in BLVD MRKT, so you can get pupusas and your friend can get pizza, and you all enjoy together. Nice picnic-style tables with umbrellas, or eat inside if it is too hot out. Pupusas are excellent! Chicken spinach cheese pupusa had terrific flavor and nice balance of fillings. Loroco and cheese pupusa was light on flavor and on loraco, so next time would try another option. Loroco is a popular food in El Salvador that we don't get much here. Tastes similar to asparagus. The Platano Empanada was so different from any empanada I have had before. It is essentially mashed plantains stuffed with sweet custard (they call that the Milk option) and fried. Dusted in sugar. Unusual and tasty! Only complaint is the DJ playing music so loudly we could not hear each other, but that is not VCHOS fault.

I really enjoyed this! The portions were great, I was very satisfied! We came for my partners birthday breakfast. Our food was done in approximately 15 minutes. The seating area is nicely lit and a beautiful atmosphere to spend a weekend morning or evening.

Vchos food truck is a decent take on Salvadorian food. The pupusas were very greasy. Also, the cheese seemed to be different in terms of traditional pupusas. It wasn't bad however I wouldn't order it again. I think what shines here is the steak fries. They're packed with meat, sauce and enough fries to feed 2/3 people. The fries were crispy, the meat good well enough. In terms of the Platanos, they were very greasy as well. I did very much enjoy them. It was a decent portion, I'd wish there was more beans. The ratio is off in terms of that. I feel like the portion for the beans should be doubled. The food overall is very greasy. Which when ordering from a food truck, you'd kind of expect that - however; my plate was soaked of grease at the end. The truck is cute. It's nice little vibe. This one was outside the Eastvale, CA location. The service overall was good - as they were just taking orders and cooking; as a food truck is intended to be.

The BLVD MRKT is really amazing with seven stands restaurants including Vchos Pupueria Moderna stand which started with lunch truck now they have a stand at the BLVD MRKT. My wife and I enjoy Salvadoran cuisine especially pupusa that we enjoy very much also we enjoy Plantions with bean and Salvadoran creame it's so good. My wife decided to get pupusa at Vchos Pupueria Moderna she got two pupusa and the condiment comes with pupusa and also she order plantions with bean Salvadoran creame. Overall she enjoy the pupusa very much and she enjoy the Plantions.

    Pupusas & chicken pastelito
    Randy S.

I ordered a chicken pastelito, revuelta pupusa & a shrimp/spinach/cheese pupusa. The pastelito is definitely a good reccomendation. Crispy outer layer, juicy & savory on the inside. For the pupusas, didn't really like the shrimp/spinach one but the revuelta one is one of the better ones i've had. Definitely recommend the pastelito & revuelta pupusa Really nice lady working there too, even though her English wasn't the best, definitely a great personality!

We…read moreusually make the drive to North Hollywood, but decided to give this place a try--and it definitely did not disappoint! We started with the ensalada, which was refreshing and had just the right amount of sweetness. For pupusas, we ordered the revueltas, loroco con queso, and frijol con queso. We tried both corn and rice dough, and honestly, both were delicious. My personal favorite was the frijol con queso with the rice dough- so flavorful and perfectly cooked. The yuca frita was exactly how it should be: crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. The chicharrón was cooked perfectly as well, and the homemade green salsa that the sweet lady helping us made was the perfect addition. She was so kind, welcoming, and always had a friendly smile, which made the experience even better. Another thing that really stood out was how clean the restaurant is. It's spacious, with plenty of seating whether you're coming with a large group, your family, or just stopping by for a meal on your own. We absolutely loved this place and will definitely be back. Next time we're bringing my Salvadoran in-laws- I have a feeling this place will get their authenticity approval too! Spanish!

Service was quick, there is a big dining room with plenty of seating in case you want to dine in, looked very clean. Massive pupusas with a lot of filling, not one of those restaurants that give you nothing but masa, these pupusas were legit. They come with Curtido and the usual salsa roja. So much flavor packed into these things, these are some of the best pupusas I've ever had, good size and they do not cheap us out on filling. Definitely try em if you're in the area! The asada had a great char and was flavorful without being overly salty, and the shrimp were cooked just right -- tender with a nice smoky finish from the grill. The pupusas were clearly made fresh and full of flavor. The revuelta had that classic savory, cheesy richness, while the loroco pupusa had a unique, slightly floral earthiness that makes Salvadoran food so special. Both were comforting and satisfying. The horchata really stood out. It's different from Mexican horchata and has a nutty, deeper flavor profile with a strong black sesame note that was incredibly delicious and memorable. The maracuyá drink was bright, tangy, and refreshing -- a perfect balance to the richness of the food. Overall, every dish felt thoughtfully prepared and full of authentic flavor. Loroco Bistro is an easy recommendation if you're craving hearty, delicious Salvadoran food. Definitely coming back.
