Incredible and excellent staff & services. The place to go when your pet is a beloved family member. Services set up equivelent to a human emergency room with urgent action from the time I walked in the door caring my "Brazo." Heart rate and temperature monitering, oxygen mask, & oxygen incubator. A staff that clearly loves animals and will do anything to save them. They let me stay by his side the entire time. My dog, Brazo could not recover from a shot given to him earlier in the day at a routine Vet visit. The team at VEG, Dr. Q, Nina, Lindsay, Corrinn, & Payton worked tirelessly and with such care to the end. If you find yourself in an emergency situation with your pet, GO HERE. You will be in the best hands getting care from this team. My dog ate something super toxic experiencing bad side affects. I had tried to go to another emergency clinic that kept me waiting for almost 2 hours in the middle of the night with no care and eventually they recommended VEG and I'm so glad I came to this place. They immediately took my dog in and started to evaluate & treat him. Everyone helped me feel calm by being so kind and attentive to him and explaining to me how everything would go with his treatment. We were able to stay together in a room with a pull out sofa bed over night, they gave us blankets and made the experience as comfortable as it possibly could be by having the option to stay with him while he was treated. All of the staff between the overnight team & day team were so kind & caring, I wish I could go to them for my normal vet care!! read more

We were greeted in the lobby by a veterinarian who immediately listened to the description of what our dog was experiencing. Our dachshund is a complicated case with several serious medical issues. Dr Connor Jacobson was up to speed quickly and we were brought into the open treatment space and given a comfortable spot to sit. We were impressed by the setup and able to be with our dog through the several hours we were there. Our baby is very anxious and having to send him off to the back somewhere has never sat well with us and is not good for him or his health. The entire staff was friendly, kind and efficient. Ranger had been to his own vet the day before and had full blood panels, but we did not have the results. Dr Connor was able to reach out directly to our vet, on a Saturday, and receive the results. Any other emergency room would have run their own tests and incurred additional expenses. I assume we were lucky that our vet was available to Dr Connor but we are so appreciative of that. Dr Connor had to read through a huge report to assess the situation and then created a plan. Ranger had an ultrasound, with my husband holding him, to be sure there was no internal bleeding. He received fluids, also while being held. We were sent off with a precise assessment, all the needed medication and thorough instructions. I highly recommend VEG for all your emergency needs. We will not hesitate to head there immediately for all the issues we know we are facing going forward with our ill baby. PS we were pleasantly surprised by the fee.....it was very very reasonable. read more

Hands down the best staff I have ever had at a emergency vets office. Staff is quick to answer your calls, see you immediately, and genuinely care about your animal. You are also allowed to visit your animal while there, and its great to be able to see your animal and see how hard the staff works for and cares for the animals. Hopefully will never have another emergency, but would come back and recommend to all. read more

First scary experience with my cat and as soon as I walked in through the doors, he was being taken care of. Immediately had nurses take a look at him and complete his triage. Dr. Cody worked really fast to get him checked out and had him set up for his procedure. Everyone explained everything to me very thoroughly. They let me stay by my cat's side the entire time- including during his procedure. All the nurses were so kind and delicate with my fur baby. They calmed my nerves significantly. these people are con artist. Two years ago my dogs encountered a Porky Pine and my vet charged me $500 for both of the. same thing happened tonight and the Veterinary Emergency Group changed me $2500 along with terrible servic. please do everything you possibly can to avoid this plac. read more

- Upon arriving it took several minutes ringing the door bell outside with nobody coming to assist my dog in a medical emergency - "Dr" Novikov is unprofessional and condescending in her manors and unprofessional actions. - Absolutely 0 post care instructions or help was given as soon as the bill was paid. - I was demanded to pay a bill before care was given under extreme distress which ran several line iteams long with no explanation and no longer even have access to or a copy to review . "Dr" Novikov demanded it be paid right away for overnight hospital stay before attempting to treat my dog correctly and see if it was necessary. - When demanding to leave after paying $2000 for 4 hours of care and my dog showing obvious signs of improvement from of simple IV fluid and a peptide infusion , we where told we agreed to pay $3000 already for the overnight stay and "dr" novikov stated she was "confused" multiple times in an extremely disrespectful and condisending way for any medical professional to be speaking to a patients owner. - Dr Novikov stated she treats at least 3 days Marijuana ingestion cases per day yet did not administer correct peptide infusion till several hours after acknowledging this was this issue because 1. They didn't have the peptide in stock and had to order via Uber from another 15 minutes away 2 hours later when the medication arrived finally nurses seemed to take their time administering it chatting casually amongst themselves at another table while my dog was showing obvious signs of digression and slow heart rate. - "Dr" Novikov last attempt ensure I have continue to pay was attempting to administer a injectable sedative to a dog that's already has an extremely low heart rate from the toxins. "Dr" Novikovs medical knowledge is questionable at best and laughable when she demands to be called doctor and payment for services not rendered instead of focusing on the patient's health. Dr "Novikov stated she was checking in from afar which was not the case at all, she was checking her bank account. - My dog and I were backed into a cage and the door shut like a prison when I showed signs of being fed up with paying for further unnecessary care. While blocking the entrance to the cage my dog and I were in "Dr" Novikov stated "if I even had the $2000 to pay for the treatment this far" and rushed nurses to come in and draw blood so "Dr" Novikov could continue to get as much money as possible out of the treatment. I was never given any results of drug tests supposedly performed or any lab work done or any paperwork at all. - It felt like we where being trapped in a horror movie with my dog and I suffering extreme PTSD from the incident and will seek legal council. read more

The staff is so amazing! My cat was having an emergency today and within my initial phone call it took five minutes to drive here and he was seen immediately! All of the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and kind. It can be absolutely terrifying having a sick pet and not knowing what is going wrong, they helped calm me down and made sure my cat was taken care of! I have had to visit them twice in the last 3 weeks-once for a severely broken toenail on my young dog and tonight to euthanize my old dog. The staff is so caring and professional. They are very patient. I know a broken toenail doesn't sound like a big deal, but for my dog, it was. She would not go under sedation. The doctor and the vet techs took their time. They were so understanding. I was there over 2 hours, and they were amazing. For my older dog, they were also very caring an patient. Let me take all the time I needed. Dr.Smith was the most unprofessional, incompetent, aggressive vet I have ever been around. She was annoyed by our presence and was incapable of performing a simple exam and triage on my dog. She lacked professionalism not only in her care for my animal but her interaction with me as well. She was combative and hostile in her language and tone of voice and operated with a very threatening posture and tone which made my animal very uncomfortable and stressed more than he already was. She displayed gross negligence and incompetency and inability to perform her job. I would not feel comfortable leaving my dog with her and her team and I advise anyone else to not do so either. read more

Our 6 month old golden retriever puppy decided he wanted to eat our rug. After looking fast at all the places, I would never take my dog to any other emergency office! As soon as we arrived, they got us back right away and instantly got him everything he needed. They also gave us a estimate of what we would be paying before they started treatment so there were no surprise bills at the end. We were in and out of there within 45 minutes. I have never been treated better by a vet technicians! I wish they could be our primary care! They were so nice and sat on the ground with us while helping our boy. They recommend us getting pet insurance and helped us pick which one would be best for him. If you are ever in need of an emergency vet, do not go anywhere but here! read more

I had a few recent visits here. While my first one was mildly frustrating due to the vet missing something with my pet, my next few visits were amazing. Dr. Smith is an incredible doctor. Her knowledge and care were so wonderful, and my dog is all the better for it. The vet techs were all very comforting and capable, especially when I was upset. I'm glad I was able to stay with my dog the whole time and even watch while he was sedated and getting stitched up. While it was obviously stressful for me, the team at VEG--especially Dr. Smith--were very helpful. read more

Great service and attention to the animals and their people. Perfect design where you can be with your pet while they're being cared for,

VEG refused to provide me with a referral for an ultrasound for my dog the following morning after spending two hours at their ER.  Not a great experience, moving forward I will make sure to only attend Vet ERs that have the full capacity to offer assistance to my pets.  I was charged $140 for a very minute amount of CC's for subcutaneous fluids that the other emergency vet told me was "putting a Band-Aid on a broken leg."  Charged me $550 for X-rays only to tell me that it "looks like there's food in her stomach" which is not helpful. They sent me home. The next morning, my dog ended up being admitted inpatient to another ER. Frustrating experience that they sent my dog home, then wrote on the paperwork that "I opted for outpatient treatment" when I was merely following their recommendations. Over $1,000 for my bill when the only thing they did that was effective, was give her an anti-nausea shot - which costs about $100.  Overall, don't recommend them. When humans are treated at a hospital and there is a shift change in attendings, the doctors read the medical notes about patients and continue with recommended treatments; so there is legit no reason for VEG to not have provided me with a referral for an ultrasound when they don't have this services\ themselves. That's just greedy, unprofessional and against medical necessity. That behavior tells me they are unwilling to put good pet care over their egos. read more

I never leave reviews for businesses, but my experience at VEG was so positive that I wanted to share. Both times I called, a doctor answered the phone and kindly talked me through options, what to look for if I wanted to monitor my pup, Nadia, from home, and how to know if/when it was time to bring her in. The second time I called, Dr. James graciously answered all of my questions, talked me through different options of labs we could run, and provided a cost estimate for each one so I knew what to expect before I decided to come. He then sent me the intake paperwork via text so that I could fill it out before we arrived. When we arrived, the staff greeted us at the door, walked us straight back, and made sure we were comfortable the entire time we were there. The space itself is really cool. It's open concept with comfortable furniture and blankets for the dogs (the cats looked comfy too). I was able to stay with Nadia the entire time, which helped us both feel more at ease. The staff were all so kind, professional, knowledgeable, and caring. Each new person who helped us took their time to introduce themselves, let Nadia get comfortable with them, and let me help when she clearly felt stressed. Dr. James sent me an informative article to read about my dog's condition while I was waiting for the next part of the treatment, and everyone took time to make sure I didn't have any questions before they moved on. All of the paperwork was sent to me via text while I waited, so approving the treatment plan and paying were seamless. Observing the staff while we waited, everyone was kind, friendly, efficient, but not in a hurry. You can tell that they all really like their job and care about the people and animals under their care. Going to the emergency vet can be a stressful experience, but this setup and this team actually made it pleasant and dare I say enjoyable. This place is AMAZING.... We recently had to say goodbye to our giant dog due to old age, and when he was having organ failure on a Saturday afternoon, there was no where else close to us that was open on a Saturday night, so we came here. Thank GOD we did, because the staff and the doctors were some of the most knowledgeable and diligent doctors and staff we have ever met. We received some of the best care and they took everything that was going on seriously, and even begin work on him the second we brought him inside. They didn't skip a beat and were quick to act while trying to save our boy. They were super professional, smart, caring, and the facility was well organized. Although we had to say goodbye to our precious boy- the time they gave us to be by his side meant everything to us. They let me hold his hand and talk to him while they worked on him- something not every hospital will let you do. And when it was time to say goodbye, they let us take our time in a special room that was dimmed, with chill paintings, and plants. They even brought us water, tissue, and constantly asked if they could do anything for us. I felt they took his passing VERY SERIOUSLY. We knew we couldn't fight old age, and we constantly worried about how and when we'd have to say goodbye. This place was my saving grace bc I knew Dr. Cody & the night time crew actually cared about him. They showed so much compassion, and we greatly appreciate it! We also got to say hi to sweet dog who was a blood donor, that was also a Great Pyrenees (just like our boy). I can't thank them enough for being so thoughtful, kind, agile, and quick to get him inside and on the table. They have a great operation over there and I will always recommend this place to anyone I talk to. Thank you Dr. Cody and your night-time crew, and thank you to everyone who helped us over the phone afterward. You guys made the hardest night of our lives that much easier, and we are both forever grateful. This hospital is pure excellence! read more

It has taken me week to leave this review as we ultimately had to choose to humanely euthanize our beautiful Daisy. We started out bringing Daisy in on a Friday & found that she was very rapidly going into liver failure. Dr. Johnson & the entire staff took amazing care of Daisy on Fri, 6/7/24. She sent Daisy home on meds hopeing that she would turn around & it did look like she was making a turn around until Monday morning & I had to rush her back to VEG. Dr. Conner took care of Daisy on Monday. It was then that we found that her liver was failing even faster than expected. Dr. Conner & the entire staff were so incredibly compassionate & caring, making sure that we were able to take all the time we needed to say our goodbyes to our beautiful Daisy girl. I am incredibly grateful that they were the ones to help us!!! I cannot say enough about them & the care they give to not just the animals but to the entire family!!! They are amazing!!! Thank you again to Dr. Johnson, Dr. Conner & the entire staff!! You all made such a difficult day a lot easier with your care & compassion!! read more

We were really happy with the service we got during our dog's 4- day stay. We could not save him. But, we felt that the team did everything they could to help him along all the twists and turns of pain, pleural effusion, sepsis, pneumonia, failing liver, electrolyte imbalance, and all the other concerns that severe pancreatitis can throw at a dog. There was always a staff member to help, and to adjust his treatment when he was cold, uncomfortable in any way, they did what they could. They let us bring his sweet k-9 buddy in to help him rally, we got chairs to sit for hours with him. Even when you know they had to be stressed due to the number of new cases coming in, they were professional, calm, efficient and caring. Dr. Jacobsen, Dr. Smith, Dr. Hughes, Steven, Angela, Sam, Kristen, Dr. Bueler, and receptionists, Amanda, etc. and the rest of that team, were so helpful during an unbelievably stressful time for us. Everyone who was on staff during those days - you know who you are and the role you played to try to save Barney - you will always be in our hearts. Our cat was suddenly having issues urinating. He went to his primary vet on Friday who I had been on the fence about. This was the first serious issue the cat has had. They were so vague we felt like we spent a ton of money with no resolution or answers. We were stressed all night. Saturday he still wasn't really urinating so we go to Veterinary Emergency Group. They were fantastic. Dr. Connor was so clear about every single thing. He was good with the cat but also was able to give the pros and cons of each course of action extremely well. He made us feel more at ease and gave our cat the care he needed. We even managed to spend less money here than at the primary vet and received WAY more information and care, they even gave us tips on certain treats that are good for urinary health etc. Even though they wouldn't benefit monetarily from that. We are going to find another primary also, but for emergency care, this is my go to hands down. Even the nurses (Corine, Jada and Debbie) were amazingly sweet to us and the cat. 100% would recommend. read more
