Wanted to see what all the hype was about. This place was packed on a Friday night. Even if it was packed, the wait time was 5-10 minutes. Not that bad for a buffet. Seating arrangements were a little weird. What else was weird.....The tiny walkway where the food were. Look where you're going, otherwise you might run over a kid or bump into someone else. The layout was awkward. The chocolate fondue area should be in the corner near the yogurt section, not smack dab in the center between the sushi and the salad bar. The food selection was not all that great. I don't consider it being like a Vegas buffet because there were more asian foods here. If you're at a vegas buffet, the dessert selection would be abundant, with more food choices like having Mexican food station here and pastas in another section. They should just called this place Seafood Buffet. Overall, prices were alright for dinner. Eat as much as you want and you get what you paid for. We heard so much about this spot and decided to come here with the family to try it out. It was packed and we had to wait about 30 minutes but it was fine. Food is great as far as buffets go. The place is spread out pretty good and you don't get clumped up too bad. For larger groups, you get table seating which is understandable but the thing that got me was that they buried us between another table and a barrier near the buffet line. It was very difficult to get in and out. The service was friendly but they had to be reminded a few times to clear the plates and refill the water. For $13 a person, it was okay. It will take me sometime to go back because the customers were rude and pushy and were cutting in front of us so much that we had to step up the NY attitude a bit to chop them back. read more

I personally don't like buffets because I hate touching anything after people and I despise food that is left sitting out. But when you get invited you go with the flow! Parking is a task. They only validate for 30 mins giving you 2 hrs in their lot. Since you have to walk anyway just park at galleria for free. 2 yr old and under eat free. 5 yrs old half price. Place was packed at noon on Saturday. Not everything was great but much better than I expected. Sirloin grill is great! Sushi is legit! Very solid food (no tummy aches or grumbles after). Again can be hit or miss but overall I'm pleasantly surprised. 3 stars is too low, 3.5 more accurate but rounding up! I'd come back if I was looking to pig out. Normally, I'm not one to go to buffets. Especially since I prefer quality over quantity, but the fam decided on going there to eat so I just tagged along. My past experiences at most buffets was overloading on cheap carbs was a standard but my new eating plans calls for more nutritional items, luckily the variety of foods at The Vegas Seafood Buffet could meet those needs! :D Food: The quality wasn't so great but then again compared to most buffets it's decent. Being a seafood buffet, their sushi wasn't so great I think the most enjoyable part was the crab legs. One of the most popular items and I am very glad they frequently restock the crab legs as well as the other many foods. A little tip: Don't be scared to ask one of the workers for the crab cracker tool :) I also enjoyed the variety of fruits and the salad bar. My favorite desserts would probably be the cheesecake and the creme brûlée be sure to try them! The teppanyaki grill is definitely a nice touch. After waiting in the line of people waiting to get their raw foods grilled and having mine cooked up the worker accidentally dropped my salmon in the crack between the grill and the counter xD With total understandings that mistakes happen I just laughed it off but it bugged me that he didn't care, didn't say anything about it or even make eye contact. Which leads me to the customer service/ workers. Service: The people in the front greeting people in and out are very friendly with bright smiles, but when you walk through the first room into the eating area the workers are like robots. But at least they did their jobs. Cleaned up tables, took away plates. The funniest thing is that some workers stare at you when you walk by with another plate of food. A little tip~ they are a bit hesitant to validate parking tickets but that doesn't mean don't ask! I believe they validate for up to 2 hours. Pricing: I think the pricing is decent. The food variety wasn't the best quality but it was definitely better then most buffets I've went to. Also unlimited plates of crab definitely makes it worthy. Overall, The Vegas Seafood Buffet is definitely one of the better buffets, but not the best therefore receiving 4 stars. I did enjoy it though and will return. Visited this place for the first time. The placed was packed and we waited about 25 minutes for a table. We didnt mind waiting since we were still waiting for the rest of our party. The selection of food was great especially the sushi. I could have just ate the sushi alone but I had to the try the items. All of their food was very tasting and fresh. I went back at least 4 times for fill up my plate. The only thing I wished for is that they had a better selection of desserts. There was not many to choose from. The buffet line can be very crowded at times with people bumping into you and cutting in front of you to get their food. Other than that, the service was great. Waitresses always came around to pick up your empty plate and refill your drinks. The cost for this place was $12.99 for lunch and $19.99 for dinner which is a good price especially for the good selection of food. I would definitely return to this place. read more

I don't actually do buffets but must say that Vegas Seafood offers a variety. I really enjoyed the Taro steamed buns. So good. If you feel like salads and sushi they have it. From crabs and mussels, pasta, steak, fries, chocolate fountain, desserts, fresh fruits, fro-yo! Can't get any better than this. The doors open at 11:30 am on the weekends. If you plan to visit Vega Seafood Buffet, I suggest going on a fast for a day so that when you do dine in, it will be worth it! Vegas will validate your parking ticket up to 2 hours. I'm defining buffet as "For a set price, you walk around with a tray and scoop a crapload of ready-to-eat stuff onto your plate with a goofy smile on your face." There is a lot of variety here - sushi, crab legs, cocktail shrimp, soups, carved meats, oysters, Chinese food, junk food, noodles, desserts, and fruit. If you can't find something you like here, you don't like food. Sure, it's not of A+ quality, but almost everything is better than almost every Chinese restaurant in L.A. that isn't east of Downtown. Pretty much everything is a solid B. There's a wait (30-60 minutes), but there's a wait because it's pretty good. Wander around, take a trip to HomeGoods, maybe take a walk outside to build an appetite. My wife and I just bought a couple random things at HomeGoods, took it to the car, and by the time we were back, our buzzer went off to let us know our table was ready. The pricing is super low - $12.95 per person, which led to me to expect crap quality food and fish. Nope. Fish was really fresh - I found myself eating more sushi rolls and nigiri than I ever would at a seafood buffet. Tuna rolls, salmon, crunch rolls, and even their CA rolls were all delicious! On top of that, they had a brazilian bbq grill (from which I only thought the sausage was pretty good), teppanyaki, and tons of other asian foods like spring rolls, pineapple chicken, orange chicken, broccoli beef, gyoza, tempura, dimsum items, fried rice, and other seafood! On top of that they had a bunch of bready items for the carb lovers like these round buttery buns, garlic bread, and taro buns. Unfortunately, the only thing lacking here was dessert. The chocolate from the chocolate fountain wasn't thick enough, the brownie was really dry and hard, and the ice cream was bland. Not the best but not the worst is how I would describe this place. It gets very busy on the weekends for dinner. The only reason I came is because I didn't have anything in mind that I wanted to eat. I saw the color of the uni on a person's plate. Gross brown uni. I'll pass. The other foods were not very memorable either. I love this place! Especially those branch which is in Glendale (110 S brand - I remember the address!!! For me it is like a miracle, cause after the delivery of a baby my memory become awful). Me and my husband used to come here when we are really hungry! :) Reasonable price, attentive stuff, pretty big variaty of food (and seafood too), convenient location and there is always an available table waiting for us. My favourites are shrimps in coconut sause with walnuts, garlic bread, pineapple slices baked with cinnamon, crab legs and chocolate fondu fountain. Just another vegas-themed/style asian seafood buffet. Kinda like a weak attempt at a "world buffet" but you have to appreciate their efforts to stand out and be different. They have a teppanyaki grill chef that actually has some skill and flair. Not bad but really makes for long waits... They have your chinese bar with the usual entrees. A japanese sushi bar with a pretty decent/fresh selection but I've had better. They have a brazilian churrasco bar but fails when the food server has no idea which skewer is what (top sirloin or garlic beef). That cracked me up. I actually had to tell the customer which meat skewer she was looking for. They also had an American, dessert, and salad bar all each having a decent variety. creme brulee reminded me of normal flan. Suuuperrrrr mediocre food! Me and my boyfriend came here for lunch on a Friday. It only cost $13 each since it was on a weekday. Parking is in the structure right across the street. First 90 mins are free! They didn't have king crab legs for lunch and my boyfriend was so sad because he was really craving it. They have shrimp, salad, Brazilian BBQ, sushi, teppankyaki, lots of Chinese food, fruit, froyo, variety of desserts and a chocolate fountain. They actually have a lot of vegetarian items for me to eat compared to Zen buffet. I especially love their inari roll; it comes with inari and the light green seaweed all rolled up together. Their hot and sour soup is surprisingly bomb. I love how thick it is and the mushrooms they put inside of their soup are huge. Their cheese rolls are also delicious. The cheese is exactly like cream cheese so it's extremely sweet and addicting. Not as good as Portos, but you know it's good enough. I didn't like the seafood pasta because it was super bland, prolly because there wasn't a lot of sauce on the dish to begin with. Their egg rolls had too much cabbage inside of it, it wasn't that good to eat. I ended up just eating the skin. The fries got cold by the time I got it back to the table, the grilled pineapple was a little sour, definitely not as good as M grills What I don't like about this place is that by the time I bring back my food to eat it at the table, it's all cold!! :( so it wasn't super enjoyable to eat because I like my food hot and fresh. Honestly I have been here twice now both times the food was clean & fresh. They validate an extra 30min for the free parking structure across the street which is usually only 90min free so that is a plus when they get busy to enjoy your food & not worry about parking. My fav have been the Eggrolls, chicken on a stick, fried chicken pieces, the mushrooms, the beef & tendon stew oh so tender, the chicken wings, Noodles lo mein were good, the beef pie slices were delicious too the center was like a sloppy joe but not sweet. The soups were a pass for me. They do have teppan yaki & a lot of sushi offerings which I did not eat but my party did they said it was fresh Desserts- in house made cheesecake which was pretty darn good & mango pudding was very mango-y was good too everything else besides the chocolate fountain for the marshmellows & strawberries were too mediocre & taste imitation! Great and the worst at the same time. Which restaurant doesn't take stacked empty dirty dishes when staff members walk by? Well, if you are okay with having your dinner while there are several dirty dishes on your table - this is the right place for you. Being honest I want to start with the good part and tell the whole story (if you are not interested - scroll to the bottom for main points). I've been to Vegas Seafood buffet at least 5-6 times. This is the time when I went there and I started using Yelp. The place is located perfectly and they validate parking, so that is a big plus. However the waiting time is sometimes awful - you might need to wait 30-40 minutes depending on when you come. This time my family waited for 10 minutes. When you come in, the cashiers are always smiling and friendly. They show you your table and give you one pair of fork and knife for each person. After that you get whatever food you want and any amount of food you want. Even though it has "Seafood" part in the name of the restaurant, there is still meat there too. You only pay extra for the drinks. There are a lot of options there and all different types of food - good food for vegans and vegetarians too. Most of it is delicious and amazing. Food looks really good too. Also there is always food there and it barely happens when they are missing something. So that's a plus. Here comes the bad part. There are barely any staff there. Servers barely come to you and most importantly they do not care about customer service. The thing is that there are way too many people and almost no servers for this amount of people. What happens is that they don't talk to you and they don't take your empty plates away (or any unfinished food that you don't want). This time we were finishing the food and they brought the receipt to us. However they just dropped the receipt, didn't ask if we need or want anything and didn't take anything with them. It seemed like they really didn't care about us and only cared about the money we are going to pay (I attached the picture of how it looked). Yes, we enjoyed the food, but that's just disappointing on how they treat you besides that. I hate when they don't care about customers in restaurants like that. We didn't have time to talk to the manager, so I am just going to leave this review here. Come 3 years later, I had forgotten all about my dream to visit this place until my coworker at DreamWorks suggested that we go to "this seafood buffet next door" to celebrate my last day of interning. A wok station, tons of seafood, sushi selection, soups, meats, noodles, desserts (hohh man, they had cheesecake, mochi, creme brulee, cream puffs, taro buns....wow), a chocolate fondue fountain, froyo machines....what kind of a buffet has a froyo machine!? That's awesome. We had a party of 16 and the servers were nice enough to pile a bunch of tables together so we could all feast like it was The Last Supper. ...and all for just ~$14 for lunch per person. Went here on mother's day and the wait was 2 hrs. If it was any other day we would have left. It went by pretty quick cuz there are areas to shop. It was a bit more expensive for the mothers day special as they had lobster ($29). Just went to the Torrance location and I can say that the Glendale location has far better quality. But parking is much more convenient if you can find a spot at the Torrance location. Price at Torrance is $24. - 1 star for service. No one filled our waters. I know it was busy for mothers day, but still. Absolute waste of money. Worst $100 for 2 I waisted in my life. One star is only for ladies who gets plates and refills coke they were nice. The cashier on the front not good. Overpriced. Food disaster we did not eat nothing. Only desert is ok. On top of all that they charge 12% tip up front. I thought tip is my choice if I like it. This is definitely one of the greatest sea food buffet I have been to in Southern California! The price is reasonable and the food quality worth more than its price. Oyster are fresh, crab legs are just amazing! They have amazing service too! Their waiters are well trained, fulfill the needs of their customers. Unlike buffet in Las Vegas you have ask for theirs service, here in Vegas seafood buffet they serve you before you even ask for it! It is a great place to come for Saturday lunch, whoever likes seafood buffet I strongly recommend you to this place. read more

I went there at weekend. Food r not bad. Flys around. Not worth the price,u can find better food nearby. When home,stomach aching all the time. I decided to give this place a try after all the raving yelp reviews. What a disappointment! Food: 2-star Service: 1-star Decor: It's a buffet... Yes, Vegas Seafood offers endless options but that's what buffets are supposed to do. Now the real question is the quality. I mean, given that it is an AYCE place, I know something gonna give for the price point (I think it was $17.99 for weekend dinner). The sushi was so dead and that's not a good thing. Fish were sliced ever so thin, they were almost translucent. Oysters were not cleaned well, other typical chinese dishes were mediocre at best if not too greasy. The shiu mai was too salty and the meat was rock solid. Yelpers raved about the teppanyaki station, the consistent long line was a great indicator that it was probably one of the best thing this place offers. But I didn't really feel like waiting in line with 10 other folks at a buffet place. I thought the whole experience is about walking up to food stations and grabbing whatever you want. The service merits an 1-star for these reasons: 1. Wait staff were quick to deliver the check but ignored the emptied teacups that needed refill over 20 minutes ago. My sister and I both had hot tea, a cup of hot water came with a tea bag at the beginning of the meal, and that was it, no refill! Two emptied cups next to the check and the waitress actually picked up the check/credit card and looked pass the cups. Oh, by the way, it was $2 a cup. Had it been free, i wouldn't be so mad about it. 2. I was told that they close at 10pm, we were seated at 8:40pm and the check arrived at 9:10pm which I thought was a bit strange. To top it off, they started sweeping the carpet floor at 9:30pm while customers were still eating! The noise level was unbearable and the rows of tables packed in with hardly enough space to pass by. I am not sure what is the allowed occupant load for this place (I didn't see the posting by the entrance), but the layout surely reminded me of a college cafeteria. Never again. read more
