    Singapore Style Mei Fun Curry

I've been ordering from here a handful of times and I've enjoyed the appetizers, but it seems like the hot entrees are all the same dishes made up of canned baby corn, canned mushrooms, and canned bamboo (all of which have a strong distinct taste) in various sauces and a couple different protein options and a small amount of a few basic vegetables (carrot, snow peas, and broccoli). The excessive use of canned vegetables make them all taste kind of the same and honestly, not that good. Seems quite lazy in my opinion. The noodle dishes are better, I suppose. The Ocean Harvest doesn't have as much of the canned veggies so it's pretty good. But the rest ... eh. But I do like the appetizers and sides (such as the sugar cane drumsticks and salt & pepper "chicken" tenders). I may just limit my orders to those and avoid most of the hot entrees from now on.

I'm currently devouring this scrumptious mango chicken with green peppers and red onions. A bit on the sweet and sour side, but it is delish with the basic white rice. I got the lunch meal with chowder soup. Definitely a good meal with excellent price!

This place is legitimate the most underrated vegetarian/ vegan place I know. 100% guarantee you won't get Chinese food anywhere else, my go to's are the tangerine beef and seseme chicken, and hot and sour soup mmmm 1 entree is plenty for 2 people to share just get an extra side of rice.

Love roasted duck at this place. My favorite is Mixed mushroom/ vegetable with roasted duck, a little spicy that make this dish perfect

Mango chicken, Corn Chowder Soup, Soy Ice Cream Shake

So far so good! The food was great and the woman at the front desk was so sweet! She recommended the soy ice cream shake with strawberry, pineapple, banana and it was amazing!! Definitely a must try if you haven't already. The corn chowder also smelled and tasted great.

The duck seemed a bit maybe watery and the wraps made eating it was sorta like a mu shu dish. It got a bit sloppy. The soup was more spicy than I would prefer. The portions were very generous. Service was good. My friend had the sesame chicken which he liked. Next visit, I'm going for General Chou chicken.

Wall menu showed pictures of various dishes, paper menu lists everthing they have to offer. We settled on scallion pancakes, salt and pepper fried oyster mushrooms and hot and sour soup for appetizers. The pancakes were a tad gummy for my taste but the mushrooms did not disappoint. The tempura batter was light, crispy and flavorful but we ran out of dipping sauce due to the generous portion of mushrooms we received. The soup was hot and spicy, the perfet warm up for a chilly night out. Both entrees were large enough for two meals. The fried rice w/spare rib was delicious but a tad greasy. The orange tangerine chicken w/broccoli fell short. Although the broccoli was cooked to perfection, the chicken was not a hit. Covered in sauce, the nuggets did not have a meaty texture. They were dense and flat not at all tasty. Overall, the food was good, will be back to try other menu items.

Eggplant Parm day! :D" but sadly, there was no eggplant parm, or a myriad of the other sides I had come to know when coming here. So, turns out they completely neutered the menu selection they previously had as well as their offerings in favor of opening up a small cafe upstairs with some sparse offerings. They still "technically" have the meal platter but it just comes with rice and two sides (at the same price)... a stark difference to the "full meal" options they used to have that often came with a main, at least 3-4 sides, soup, and salad. I... honestly have no idea why they would choose to do this, because it completely ruins the charm and what this place kind of stood for but.... I don't think I'm going to come back to this place anymore, sorry. It's not the same endearing place I came to know and love.

You know the lassi is good when it's more yogurty than milk. Still very sweet but I really enjoyed it. I also tried my friend's chai and it was definitely on the sweeter end but still enjoyable. Everything looks great and the food all looks flavorful I'd definitely recommend making a visit!
