'Salmon' Plate with corn and brown rice
    Jon N.

I've been curious for a long time, but never was intrigued enough to stop in. Last night was the time and it wasn't too bad. Service wasn't extremely friendly, but they weren't hostile, so that was a good start! Seating wasn't very comfortable, and was a bit of a mismash of seemingly piecemeal tables and chairs. It wasn't really clean, either, but we did find someone and asked for a rag to wipe a table, and she was lovely to get it for us. As for the food, we shared a bowl of the Moroccan lentil soup, which was very good. It could stand some more spice, but we did like it just the same. My wife got the Loaded Burrito which had great flavors but could be more 'loaded' with the protein, at least to offset the tortilla that dominated. I had the salmon plate with buttery corn and brown rice on the side, and it was interesting. I think it odd that it can be called salmon, but whatever. It did have a surprisingly decent look and consistency. It was just short of rubbery which was great, and had some decent flavor, but if it was 4 oz. I would be shocked. It was a very small piece of 'fish.' Corn and rice were good. Not extremely impressed by their beverage selection, but they do offer fountain iced tea, so that was good. While it wasn't great, I would return for the soup and burrito (but would ask for more 'protein.'

The Service: Our first time trying Veggie Grill. Andrew was helping us at the counter. He was super patient and nice! The service was efficient and thoughtful. Excellent customer service! The Food: "I can't believe they are NOT meat!" That was our comment after the first bite. Definitely try the Southwestern Nachos. It really tastes like ground beef! Huge portion and perfect to share. Crispy nacho chips with lots of toppings. Many salad options~ fresh ingredients and lots of colorful vegetables. The food plating is nice and man~ that's a lot of vege! Love it! If you have little kiddos, order their kids meal. It comes with drinks, fries and even cookie! Very good price too! The Parking: Private parking lot (free). Even the side street parking is free too! I love their outdoor seating areas, one with shade and one without. The restroom is outside the store next to the outdoor patio. Don't forget to ask for code to use the restroom.

Ordered the buffalo chicken strips. They were awful very thin and the sausage is way too salty to eat.

    Summer menu tasting.

Veggie Grill is always great. I've been coming here for years. The Southwest Nachos are my usual thing, but the last couple times I've been I've branched out. The buffalo chik'n salad? INCREDIBLE!! Their new protein plates? So good! Okay, I will say...the Beyond Steak was maybe a biiiit too realistic for me, but my husband loved it because it was very close to real steak apparently. I haven't eaten meat in forever, but it freaked me out. Vibes on the patio are always great. I love that they bring the food to you, but our food was cold when we ordered the protein plates on our most recent visit. That menu was brand new, so I'm not sure if they're still working out the kinks or what. I don't usually have issues with service here--dine-in or pickup--so I imagine they'll figure it out. Check out their new menu! Tons of new stuff.

We have been going to veggie grill for years, at least 10 years at present. This is now the only remaining location in the valley and the one we have been frequenting since the others closed 1-2 years ago. We drive around 30 mins to get here. We were excited by the next level acquisition as we used to live in the Bay Area and remember their food fondly as well. Our last visit (which may be our last ever) was a disaster. The new menu included significant price hikes on almost all items. I understand prices are going up here but for a salad a burger and 2 kids meals it was nearly $80. If the price increases happened but quality was maintained it would be one thing but the food quality and staff/service have both gone downhill. Half the lettuce in the salad I ordered had turned color. This was easily visible - and it means that the cook saw this, and just chose to serve it anyways. The salad also had an insane amount of raw onion on it covering half the salad. The onion had been sitting cut for a while based on the overpowering odor/taste. While there I saw a gloved staff member eating a fry while wiping down silverware, and another staff speaking incredible rudely to a customer who asked a question when odering, stating blunty, "the menu is right there if you want to read". We mentioned something at our visit and emailed afterward only to receive a canned 'sorry' message. This is super disappointing to say but we will not be returning for the foreseeable future. It is possible this was an anomaly but after 2 separate visits with these issues I think more than likely they may not be.

Everything is delicious. I love how they have so many vegetarian options. The service was excellent too, very quick and friendly. I ordered takeout but the restaurant looks clean inside as well. It's more of a takeout place, but I think you can sit there too.

Have not sat down inside a veggie grill since pre covid. This trip was a pleasant reminder of why I used to come weekly. - I Ordered a Sonoran Bowl And a (mandatory) slice of carrot cake. 10/10 food. Very large portions!! The food is filling; these leftover supplied me dinner for 3 days - Fast service at this location! 10/10. Very kind & cheerful ladies took my order. - The ambience was another 10/10. Clean, lots of Indoor and outdoor seating, lots of large windows. I was Happy to say I Made the right choice going to Veggie Grill, rather than Mendocino farms or sweet green, which are so close by I could see from where I was eating (not a diss). Would love to come back to this location

The Santa Fe Chicken sandwich has been one of my all-time favorite items at Veggie Grill. Something about this location made the food taste 10x better! The fries were the perfect amount of crunch and so flavorful... I wish I had snapped a photo of them! They also now offer student discounts with an ID at the register. Parking was plentiful and food was ready in less than 10 minutes. There is an outdoor bathroom connected to the building as well.

Every now and then I am craving some delicious vegan food and Veggie grill did not disappoint. So for lunchtime we decided to head over to this branch. I ordered my favorite Far East bowl still satisfying as ever. We also ordered Basil burger, fish tacos and the new truffle honey chicken sandwich which is now our new favorite super smash hit! Staff are helpful and attentive even suggesting some new item on the menu to try. This location offers plenty of parking space, indoor and patio dining option which is great. The place doesn't have loud music, clean and bright due to wrap around glass window interior. So when you're in a mood for a good vegan meal head over to this happy place.

Love Veggie Grill and am so thankful this location still exists despite all the closures! I got a free birthday entree on my app so I came to redeem it here and the employees were all friendly and helpful. I opted to try the nachos as I love their Mexican menu. Unfortunately the inside dining was closed when I was there but I dined outside and I liked how it was secluded from the street. The nachos were very flavorful and had a good spice to them. I really enjoyed the cheese sauce most on these. They were filling and hearty.

Amazing food! Love this place. I'm going visit all of their locations and taste the entire menu!

Buffalo chicken with no ranch. Who wants no ranch with this?!
    Hailey Z.

We used to love this place, but much like everywhere else the prices go up and quality goes down. I do not recommend ordering via Uber Eats. We ordered the Buffalo chicken and you'd think you'd get ranch with these. There's an option for no ranch only, so you'd think ranch would automatically come. We've only had this issue one other time. We had three orders of chicken, two were Buffalo and one was naked and only the naked chicken came with a side of bbq sauce. There was no ranch for either order of Buffalo chicken. This chicken was expensive but also inedible because there was no ranch. There was also only three tiny sprigs of celery, and to boot, they tasted like they sat in the heat for a few days. The chicken is incredibly spicy so that ranch would have gone great with this. If you have to have Veggie Grill, I highly suggest ordering take out to ensure you get what you want or just eating there. This was so disappointing.

I saw the reviews and photos and I knew I just had to stop by. Thankfully I had read the review about parking because it can definitely be confusing. Parking is street parking and a short walk to the restaurant. I did see a lot up ahead when I initially turned in the driveway but the sign looks like it's meant for a different business. I found parking right before Weddington and walked to Bruxie. On my way a shady character started following me and speaking to me and I power walked to the restaurant to get away. As I turned the corner I was greeted by friendly staff. There is someone behind the window to take orders but also someone outside the window able to take orders as well. After looking at the menu I orderd the Nashville hot chicken sandwich with a side of waffle fries, and also a breakfast burrito with a side of tots (that I planned to eat tomorrow morning). I paid and then waited in the shade of the outdoor seating which has allot of shade and it's a nice area to sit. My food was ready in maybe 15 to 20 minutes and then I walked back to my car as I had to get to my next destination. Unfortunately that shady man was waiting for me and when I rounded the corner he acted like he was ignoring me but then he started following me again!!! I ended up taking advantage of my long legs and I did a long legged power walk back to my car leaving him in the dust. People saw me walking so fast with such long strides and were looking at me like I'm crazy. When I looked back the man was still walking my way staring straight at me but thankfully he can't walk fast to catch up to me. The point of me writing about this is to be careful on this street, keep your eyes on your surroundings and do not get distracted staring at your phone. On my way driving to my destination I started nibbling on the waffle fries and they were so perfect! I don't know how to explain the puffy crunch that comes with them as you bite down. So perfectly crispy yet soft! I then decided to try the tots and they are perfection too! The perfect amount of spice that gives a hint of spicy but it's not overwhelming. I wasn't planning to eat both the fries and the tots but before you know it I arrived at my destination and both were in my belly! I then ate the Nashville chicken sandwich, absolutely delicious and generous portion, I love the taste again spicy but not overwhelming, it was perfect. My only wish is that the chicken could have been a thicker piece of chicken but it was a thin long piece. Other than that it definitely hit the spot. I am looking forward to eating my breakfast burrito tomorrow morning!

My son didn't make a reservation because it was a Wednesday night and he didn't think it would be crowded. We soon got a good spot and ordered the shrimp ceviche and the pan fried dumplings for appetizers. The ceviche was served on a bed of crispy noodles and it was refreshing and satisfying. The dumplings were crispy, not greasy, and flavorful. For dinner, we got 2 orders of japchae and 3 orders of bibimbap. They were not too firm and not too soft and well-seasoned. With a mixture of veggies, meat, mushrooms, eggs, and that delectable sauce, the bibimbap tickled and satiated the tastebuds. I told the server there was a birthday at the table and she brought out an excellent creme brulee with a candle in it. My husband and I didn't pay the bill. But the prices were reasonable with most of the entrees costing less than $20 each. We have four more days in town and may very well make another visit to indulge in that scrumptious food.

It was actually hard to decide on just one bakery item - everything looked delicious. Next time the coffee cake will be happening. I got poached eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast. Husband got a hash omelette. Both come with a lovely little side of greens with a great dressing. Brunch isn't brunch without a little libation, so I had a lovely French white wine and he had a French red. The wine list though small by the glass is chosen very well. We were hoping they sold their bread at the bakery because it's absolutely delicious. Service is warm and friendly. Price point for breakfast with tip was $100. We will definitely be coming back soon to this great neighborhood spot.

I would say this place is pricey but isn't awful their quality is close to what you pay. Delicious…read morebread for their sandwiches. Got the short rib and it was so delicious, perfect amount of cheese, grease, meat, and again delicious bread. They give a lot of fries as well. Service wise they are nice but I really don't like how it's expensive yet you don't get sit down service. It's all order yourself get your own water, napkins etc.. For the price that makes it a downgrade in my opinion. Inside is super large and spacious, pretty atmosphere. Tons of seating and they have their own parking lot! The best! lol
