I was looking forward to this restaurant. We walked in at 8:30, fully knowing they closed at 9. We were on our way to a movie, so in a bit of a rush ourselves. We were greeted at the door, and then the hostess looked at the server who was already cleaning, and the server literally moaned and said, "but it's already 8:30"... The hostess asked if we could please order take out instead. I said "no". And she also whined, "but we close at 9". I said, "I know that, and I've also worked in restaurants, and I know you still seat people 30 minutes before your closing time". I was in no way trying to keep these ladies from staying at work late, but 30 minutes and they couldn't serve us, and the moaning and groaning? Nope. At that point they realized they should probably let us stay, but we had no desire to so we left. I was a server in college. I get it. They wanted to be out of that door at 9pm. That's also why I would have made sure we ordered right away, to speed along the process. We eat out all the time, and we respect our servers. But to have someone moaning at the fact that you showed up to their restaurant 30 minutes before you close, when we probably would have come back many times? Unacceptable. Needless to say, we went across the street to a different restaurant, who also closed at 9, and when we walked in they said "Welcome! Have you been here before?". And yes, we were finished eating and on our way to the movie by no later than 9:10. read more

Today was my husband and my first time trying out this spot, we've tried a lot of vegan places and this is one of your top 3 new spots. They called and made sure my order was correct before I went to pick it up Jason was great on that, I got back to my office and saw they forgot our steam rice I called them up and they apologize they also comp'd us two Thai Tea drinks and they personally delivered the steam rice and drinks to us saved us a trip back it was very nice of them. I recently discovered this place and love it! The mushroom pho is amazing, eggplant is great and the gluten free desserts are tasty! The shanghai noodles were spicy and delicious. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This place is all vegan now though it says vegetarian and vegan, as that has changed to vegan. They have several gluten free options if you ask! The prices are very fair for the amount of food they serve. Very clean and low key place for locals who want great food away feom vegas proper. read more

I love meat, but you won't miss it at VeggieEAT! The flavor of their dishes is so good and the texture of the meat substitutes are great. I could eat here a couple of times a week for sure. I've been here a total of two times and both times were disappointing. The first time I ordered a sandwich and a few appetizers to share with a friend. The spring rolls came first but the rest of the food took about 35-40 minutes. We asked the person in charge (at least she seemed like she was in charge) about our food she said she would go back and check on it. She came back and told us (in a tone) that we picked food that took a long time to make. We ordered a sandwich and yakitori how does that take 40 minutes? There were two parties that sat down after us and they received their food before we did. If they were understaffed or something happened, that's fine! Just tell us, but don't blame me for ordering something that "takes a long time to make". It was frustrating to say the least. When the food finally made it back to us it was good, which is why we gave them a second chance. We all have off days, right? The second time we ordered spring rolls and yakitori again and chow fun to share. The yakitori and chow fun came first but the spring rolls were forgotten. Our server assured us that they were coming and several minutes later they did. We asked to see a dessert menu. It took 10 minutes for us to even see it. The carrot cake and German chocolate cake were a little on the dry side. I thought I would mention that while we waited, a manager was walking around and asking customers how their food was. He skipped us. The food was good but not good enough to justify the long wait and poor management. If you want to try this place out, order something that they can make quickly or bring a snack while you wait. read more

Me and my family come here often, believe I have left reviews before that were positive. Today, we were handed our menus and didn't see our waitress again for 10 mins. Put our order in, and watched 2 tables who arrived after us get served. We had no water, and with our two year old, we ended up leaving after 20 mins of watching others get their full orders that were made AFTER ours. Called afterwards to speak with a manager, the manager ended up being our waitress. She immediately began saying they were short staffed and the others tables were "ready before us", but she wouldn't have even known that because she handed us the menu and disappeared. Sad to see this place go as we don't have a lot of vegan Options around us, but this was absolutely ridiculous and the conversation with the manager after was even worse. Normally I'd give them 4-5 stars but I ordered the Philly cheesesteak yesterday because the first time I ordered it was sooooooo good. But this time it was nauseating. Way too much cheese which is not a good thing with vegan cheese. I will never order that again. I had to throw it away. read more

Been here multiple times and we always try something new. All their food is delicious and I was excited when they switched to a full vegan menu. Their vegan sushi is amazing. Definitely recommend the rolls (not the egg rolls, the other ones. I forgot the name.) Their mixed fried rice is delicious and they don't use garlic or onion which surprised us when we were told. I was so excited to eat at this place and everything looked super delicious. So I have been planning to go in forever as it is across the town for me. Just fyi, this review is not about food, just because I didn't get any. Went for lunch by myself, was seated and then forgotten about for 30(!!!) minutes. The table next to mine (so it was not about me not being visible to the servers) has already gotten their food by the time my 30min wait rolled up and I just decided to leave. I believe the food is good and that they are doing a good job at providing plant-based food, but this is just unacceptable. I've become a regular to this place. It just keeps getting better and better. The egg rolls are extra crispy with textured wrap and great flavors and spices. VeggiEAT Xpress opens their second location! (First location inside 99 Ranch Market). It seems like there's a new Asian or boba spot opening up in Henderson every other week and VeggiEAT Xpress just might be my new favorite. Not only is it really good, but there's also zero competition in this neighborhood (in terms of Vegan and Asian) so I have high hopes for success. BEWARE: Their credit card machine does not work yet, BRING CASH!!!!! The restaurant is fairly large, brightly lit and yes, they speak English. Everything is vegan aka no meat! I listened to 2 customers come in and not understand that the chicken/beef/shrimp listed on their menu was not actually chicken/beef/shrimp. Beef Vietnamese sandwich: So, so good. The large size is 12+ inches and huge for a single sitting. I would get the large though, because it's such a good deal! Sweet and sour chicken: Not on their menu, but they serve it at their other location and you can order it here. The "chicken" has a slightly squishy consistency and definitely way more sweet than sour. Order a small white rice - $2! Singapore style noodles: HUGE portion. Not very much "meat," so if you're scared of the vegetarian protein I would start here. Thin, soft noodles with a small amount of vegetables. A little too heavy on the carbs for me, but as a side it's good! I would highly, highly recommend VeggiEAT! It's a nice addition to Henderson and I'll be telling my friends about it! read more

My first vegan experience. Shrimp spring rolls and fried calamari were both awesome, main course was the short ribs, with a side of brown rice, not gonna lie the texture of everything was new to me, so it was a little weird but the rice mixed in w the short ribs was amazing, just enough spice as well, nailed it. This place is good but there's definitely A LOT Of msg in the food. I'm sensitive to msg so I can tell immediately when there's some present in food. Honey walnut shrimp was decent but needed more sauce, the broccoli was dry and bland. The portions are definitely smaller if you order takeout which is a bummer. We are not vegan but we observe Meatless Mondays regularly and really enjoyed this restaurant. The service was great, the food was above my expectations & is bursting with amazing flavors!! This is a small Chinese restaurant on the corner of Stephanie and warm springs. They remodeled before they opened and it looks great. I love how easy it is to find and how ooen and clean it is on the inside. I also live that the whole menu is vegan. As a vegan, it's hard to find places I can eat sometimes and it's nice to know that I can eat anything on the menu. Also the staff is super nice and makes a real effort to get to know you. Currently starting a meatless fast and VeggiEats is a lifesaver! Had their "Chicken" Pho soup and I could hardly tell the difference from the real thing!
