If you're looking for a place that has Clean area Great service Delicious Hearty Clean ingredients Healthy Then this place is Worth the try... we were surprised how delicious it all was.

So happy I got to try this place and they stayed open! VegiOasis is a very warm and welcoming restaurant with tasty and healthy food. The vegan BBQ beef bowl was easily the best I've ever had. The texture was incredibly satisfying and the flavor was both savory and sweet with complex notes. We also tried the curry which was light and refreshing. We could tell there were no preservatives or refined oils as we felt to energized after! I'd definitely come again.

The food was so appetizing that we neglected to take photos until we had consumed most of the dishes. So sorry there are no photos of the food. I had the delicious yakisoba and my wife had the hearty miso soup. We indulged in the raw pumpkin cheesecake-like dessert; the cacao nibs on top were a spectacular touch. A perfect lunch after visiting Bolsa Chica. Too bad we live in far south OC.

Very sad, door says temporarily closed. We were hopefully to try after the new ownership and great reviews from a few weeks ago. Called multiple times, checked all social and no answer. Sad we missed out.

Everything was so fresh & tasty. We got the Korean bbq burger, Korean bowel, corn soup, kids meal, & Sonora Moro. Loved it all and can't wait to come back and try some more. The best vegan "chicken" tender we have ever had. Also love have its organic, vegan, and they don't use seed oils.

We had a fantastic meal here with our friends. The food was all delicious and very clean. And the service was kind, informative and gracious. We tried the ramen, chowder, Kobe, sushi and salad as well as the lemon raspberry cake and ice cream for dessert. Left feeling full and happy!

Such a cute little restaurant conveniently located next to a Trader Joe's. Service was excellent and our food was absolutely fresh and delicious. Will definitely come back when in the area.

My friend and I received a delicious vegan lunch from the most attentive and kind people. This restaurant is kept very clean and has a warm and inviting atmosphere. The corn chowder was very good and I absolutely loved the chick'n teriyaki bowl Atsuko and a young gentleman were extremely helpful and so friendly. This is the first time I experienced employees who seemed genuinely happy to be there and help their guests. I would definitely come back!

Super yummy! The service was great. I took my baby and they even gave me kid utensils. The meatless beef is definitely one of the best proteins I have ever had. The sweet corn soup is also a must try unfortunately I forgot to take a photo.

Food was delicious and staff was very friendly! The corn chowder was especially delicious, seriously recommend it. Hand Rolls were also very good and presented well, as was the curry!

I want to support this business before they close! Such a sweet couple who have brought both authentic flavors and fusion together in the form of approachable vegan dishes. I haven't had corn potage since giving up dairy, but theirs really took me back to the real thing I had growing up. I also enjoyed the noodles of the yakisoba, which tasted just the pork version I'm used to eating.

We almost tried everything in their menu in one sitting. All the food were great. Everything was made with lot of care and you can feel that. All of their ingredients are organic. The servers took lot of care when we were there. My favorites were the beef bbq bowl and the beef curry. My wife loved the ramen. Also had their sundae which was delicious. They are carrying the legacy of Ana and Akira quite well. Will definitely go back. Everything is very well decorated. They have patio sitting as well.

This was my 3rd time having Vegilicious and while it isn't my top favorite vegan food, I really really enjoy it and I love supporting a local small business, run entirely by Ana and Akira. They are both so sweet and accommodating and make menu items that you really can't find vegan nearby. I shared the teriyaki chicken, Kobe beef, and steamed vegetables with miso sauce. We loved the Kobe beef the most and also loved the sauce that came on the steamed vegetables. I wish that the dishes were more veggie heavy because they do come with a lot of rice and are very expensive for what you get. I've never had anything like the housemade Kobe beef though and that is definitely what I most recommend!

Do you use seed oils in your cooking?

We use organic olive oil. Thank you for your inquiry!

Are you close to selling and moving back to Japan? I was looking for vegetarian places in Huntington Beach as my stepmother can no longer eat meat, and was going to buy them a gift card, but don't want to get it if you're closing. Thanks!

Thank you for the inquiry. You are right. We are not selling gift cards anymore because we will be closing and moving back to Japan in several weeks. Hope you and your stepmother can visit us while we are still here!

When is the last day the restaurant will be open?

The restaurant is on sale now. After someone purchases the restaurant, VegiLicious will be closed and Akira & Ana will move back to Japan.

Are any mock meats made in house? Which ones?

I, the owner/chef, make the Kobe BBQ meat and the meat(less) crumbles for ramen in the kitchen.

    Are dogs allowed?

Dogs are allowed on the patio.

Is there a low sodium substitute available, or low sodium menu options?

Everything is cooked fresh and to order so I'm sure they would accommodate.

    Do they use MSG?

OMG no way not at all, ever. This is a healthy place! Even their free water is specially filtered and delicious!

How long is the wait for food?

Food comes out quite quickly. Chef is a real pro!

Hello, does this place have gluten-free items?Thank you.

Yes, they do have many delicious gluten free menu items.

Came in during a slow afternoon, but the service was fantastic: quick, attentive, and genuinely friendly. I don't think I've ever seen a server that happy if i'm being honest. Great fish selection for nigiri/sashimi, and they definitely don't skimp on portions. The slices were slightly thicker than what you typically get at most Japanese restaurants, but not overwhelming at all. Because of that, the nigiri and rolls do come with a bit more rice as well, but everything was well-balanced. Also ordered the Brussels sprout appetiser, which was a standout and easily one of the best Brussels sprout dishes I've had. Each sprout was perfectly coated with Parmesan cheese and nori. I'm addicted. Overall, a great spot with quality fish, exceptional service, and a cozy vibe. Will definitely be back.

Location looks sketchy, but the food is good and price is very reasonable. Black Ramen (pork broth, black garlic oil, chashu, egg, green onion, beansprout, wood-ear mushroom) was really good. Great tasting broth without being too salty. Yellowtail Jalapeño Roll was excellent. Had this type of roll at other places, but the one here just tasted more vibrant. Very refreshing with a good amount of spiciness. Akuma Roll was good but was different than I expected. Based on the name I thought it would have a more menacing presentation with a super spicy kick to it, but it was rather tame and too bright in presentation. It has 4 types of fish, avocado, spicy mayo, soy mustard, truffle ponzu sauce, and soy paper. Service seemed efficient as we got our food pretty quickly, despite being busy. However, it took a while for us to get our check at the end.

I want to be clear that we've always enjoyed the food here, although even our most recent meal fell short. The real issue, however, has been the wait times, which have become unreasonable. Today my order was estimated to be ready at 7:15 PM. It is now 8PM and I am still waiting. For context, I placed the order at 6:00 PM. Meanwhile, guests continue to arrive and are being seated. Spending nearly two hours waiting in the lobby for a to-go order--both today and on our last visit--is simply unacceptable. The waitress did offer a free dessert and a gift card, which I declined because, unfortunately, we do not plan on returning. She then offered $20 off the bill. While the gesture was noted, it does little to address the broader issue when the bill is $130 and the wait has been this excessive. If the owners are reading this, please take a serious look at how orders are being managed. If the kitchen cannot handle the volume, online orders should be paused until the system is fixed.
