    Driving 610!

What a fun experience. We celebrated a birthday and the staff, JP, JT and Xavier made the experience even better. They made sure we had the FULL experience and were extremely helpful with direction on how to handle the whole driving experience! We all had fun! Can't wait to go back.

Nice environment and people. Races are well organized. Food and drink are reasonably priced. I would come again.

As a Wisconsinite, I had to put the cheese curds to the best. For non-Wisconsin curds, they were solid. The ranch was amazing too. I also tried the three cheese cavatappi pasta bake. It was so cheesy and gooey. I'd highly recommend it if you're looking for non-traditional bar food. My friend had the chicken tenders and said they were good. We came to watch the Utah Mammoth @ Nashville Predators game. While the staff tried their best to get it onto the TV for us, it unfortunately didn't work. However, the staff were so accommodating with letting us stick around to watch it on our ESPN app.

Don't know why there wasn't one tv showing any baseball game, including the Astros game on at the same time.) The bar is fine; the seats not the most comfortable; the food is overpriced bland Sysco, with the atmosphere too loud for the friendly waitstaff to hear you. I had a salmon Caesar, which was fine, but $31 plus a hidden 4% service charge for not a lot of lettuce, dressing, and four croutons. An app (chips and bland dip, skimped on the chips) and two entrees, a 16 oz beer and two mixed drinks was $145 with tax and tip. Agonizing to pay that much for a mid experience, especially with the other costs in time and money. Guaranteeing seats for the game without showing up ages in advance cost $40/seat and we didn't get the advertised VIP World Cup goody-bag package we were promised. Worst part of the night was getting out. 45 minutes stuck in the $10 Greenstreet parking garage because the scanners weren't working, but it's that or $40 of Ubers. So ~$250 for a less-than-mid evening that wasn't especially relaxing.

The first time that I went there, I went by myself and had a seat at the bar. The bartender was attentive and greeted me when I say down. I ordered some beers and a hot dog with chili. Both the beers and hot dog were great after the three hour bus ride I just took. The third time that I went there, I went with my friend and we had a seat at the bar. This was our last night in Houston and we decided to have a few drinks before our trip ended. I got a beer in their special St. Patrick's Day glass. The bartender was again attentive and it was a good night. Looking back, I guess both my first and last stops in Houston were here. The second time that I came here was also with my friend and we sat at a table to order food. The waitress was great and kept checking on us. I ordered the fish and chips. The fish was crispy and tasty. This is the only part that I had an issue with from the restaurant. At some point during my second visit, a woman came into the restaurant with her pants covered in poop. She left and then came back another time and walked among the tables. The bartender eventually escorted her out. Here is why I am still giving this place 4 stars after this. The service and food was still good even and I had two uneventful visits. This visit, I just happened to sit at a table closest to the door. If you want to make sure you don't have an experience like this, you can sit at the bar, or upstairs or further away from the front door. I recommend this place for a great selection of beer, great staff and great food.

Underground Hall, like its name suggests, is a subterranean food hall in downton Houston. They have a burger stall, a taco stall, a chicken stall, an Asian BBQ fusion stall, an icea cream stall, dessert stall upstairs, and a full bar. I ordered Birria Tacos, while also sampling hot chicken mac n cheese fries, and brisket eggrolls thanks to what everyone else ordered. Everything was delicious. The bar offers $1 champagne shots and has a solid happy hour outside of their already pretty good regular prices. My only negative was the bathrooms. Tons of graffiti, smell, and in general needed some serious clean up love, but it didn't ruin the overall visit. Just a heads up. If you or your group can't decide on where to go, go everywhere at the Underground Hall!

He checked all bags and purses, so I felt safe going in until I noticed a staircase to the bar (2nd floor) and thought, well I should plan accordingly before I leave so as not to take a tumble. They have seasonal cocktails, some Foxy ones, classics, and som non alcoholic options too (both bottles and cocktails), but there is no food, so get your feed bag on elsewhere. I also saw someone being escorted out of the bar, so there is additional security in the bar and the deck. Lovely place for a view and a hangout. Oh, no parking lot.

We asked for 3 cocktails (Pisco sours) and not only were they the worst Piscos we ever had, the guy conveniently misheard $60 on a $45 bill (we handed $60 cash and said out loud "make it $50" we all heard it) and he tried to keep a $15 tip, when we asked for change back , he THREW a crumbled $10 dollar bill at us calling it a "sh**ty" tip - HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL NEVER THROW MONEY AT YOUR CUSTOMERS! Note to management: Tell your bartenders to maybe ask for the ingredients or try offering an alternate drink if you can't make a particular cocktail instead of serving terrible drinks - i.e. Just be honest.

The name is simply "Houston" spelled backwards. The decor is quirky, eclectic and goes hard on the taxidermy. There are all kinds of animals from land-based to sea creations in all kinds of positions, along with very unique art and ambiance to explore. The multi-room layout makes the place a fun spot to explore and check out the different levels. The darkly lit ambiance makes it a bit hard for photographs, but it is no less a dizzying and fascinating space. My favorite part of the entire place is on third floor, where there is a sound dome that doubles as a visualizer, a communal space, and a trippy acoustics wonderland where music can be played via bluetooth and tourists and locals would enjoy it. The sound system is excellent and a perfect place to chill out. There's more than just sensory overload, the drinks also deserve a bit of mention. The jalapeño palomas and hibiscus mules are fun, despite feeling a tinge overpriced. Bartenders are nice people, and service as a whole is a thumbs up. The parking situation will be challenging, since this is Downtown proper. Street parking is available just down the block, and if one can avoid the crowded weekends, the weeknights are an ideal time to visit. It's hard not to be impressed with the distinctiveness of the place, which is truly one of the city's great local favorites.
