    Birria taco

The food was fantastic and the birrara tacos are some of the best in the city. The birrara egg rolls were out of this world. Tacos were on point. Service was quick and on point. You do not have to wait long on food or drink. Staff cranks out deliciousness. The ambiance is small taco shop. Do not miss out on this taco shop. One of the best in Denver.

Was craving some birria and quick answer to satisfy that was Venalonzo's. We got the 10" Birria Pizza and Birria Egg Rolls. We placed the order online (via Toast), got a text confirmation it was ready for pick up, and went straight to the staff at the counter got our food. And even though this was a to-go order, food was still so fresh, egg rolls still crispy and cheese was still gooey. They also have updated their space since I was last there. The chalkboard menu now has beautiful art. And above the counter is four TV monitors with the menu and food related videos.

Place was pretty small and busy on the inside, but service was quick and employees were nice. They also had a station with salsa, limes, peppers, etc. that was self-serve and was a huge perk. I had heard phenomenal things about their birria, so decided to get the birria pizza (so really just a quesabirria in a pizza box lol). The birria was tender and the consommé was the perfect consistency and flavor. I also thoroughly enjoyed the salsas that it came with, and they added a nice balance to the richness of the birria, along with the radishes and lime. I would definitely recommend ordering birria and dining in, mainly for the toppings and salsa/freshness of the birria!

I cannot wait to come back to Venalonzo's. The flavor, the food, and the options are not lacking at this spot. We heard that they won the best taco challenge last year and were in the area to visit family. I'm so glad that we made the drive to have their birria ramen and tacos. My goodness, this has to be one of the best, if not the best, birria consume in Colorado. We had a few family members with us so we opted for the birria pizza and were pleasantly surprised with the flavor and the taste. Not pictured, we also had horchata which was also great. The service was fast and there were options to sit inside and outside. Overall, I would definitely drive out of my way to eat here again.

Guac - made with parsley and not cilantro? Herby and missed the mark. 0/10

I decided to try Venalonzos after hearing so many people rave about their birria tacos and even the birria pizza. Unfortunately, I was underwhelmed. The food wasn't terrible, but it didn't live up to the hype.. just average at best. The guacamole was a major disappointment; it had an oddly herbaceous, earthy flavor that tasted more like parsley than cilantro, and I could barely recognize it as guac. The marinated onions had an overpowering oregano/Italian spice note that clashed completely with the Mexican flavors. It honestly felt like two different cuisines colliding in one dish. Overall, I'd give it an average rating. With so many other solid Mexican food options around, this isn't a place I'd go back to.

The food is just as good as it looks in the pictures I PROMISE! This place did not disappoint it was absolutely delicious, so flavorful I basically licked my plate clean. The horchata comes in a huge cup which I can appreciate. I got the supreme birria pizza and it was phenomenal. This place is packed and for good reason. I'll be back ASAP

Everything is delicious here! They have fantastic tacos and a great salsa bar. Really cute location and great service. I've also had the pleasure of sampling many of their items at a couple events they've catered and every single bite is bliss.

Great little taco restaurant in Centennial. Menu features burritos and tacos. Birria taco was very good. Also enjoyed the carnitas street tacos. The burrito was decent but could have used some more ingredients. Optional bottled sodas or fountain drinks. Some inside and outside dining but also ordered to go. Great staff. Definitely would return over chain options. They do have breakfast items.

It was decent but not what I expected from all the craze. I wasn't a fan of their salsa but I'm sure others love it. It being warm and more like a green chili threw me off. I got the birria pizza and it was good.

After sampling a Venalonzo's at previous events, I've been itching to visit their brick-and-mortar location, and being close to home, today was the day! This little spot is a hole in the wall, but a popular one at that! We arrived at 1pm to a line almost out the door! There is seating outside on the patio and inside, which we were able to snag (inside) to beat the 90-degree heat! The interior is quaint, filled with pops of color, Front and center upon arrival is the massive menu, featuring all of the goodness that's made in house. Everything from tacos, burritos, to nachos and chimichangas is offered - and the famed quesabirria tacos. We opted for the latter on our visit today (an order of 4 for $18), and OMG! The meat is so fresh, perfectly seasoned and cooked, and the ooey, gooey cheese was just right - along with the perfect grilled/frying on the outside. YUM. The consume was oily, but light and created the most perfect bite!! The carne asada fries are also delicious ;) The staff here, is truly amazing. SO kind, welcoming, friendly and has this spot running like a well-oiled machine! Cranking out meal after meal for hungry customers! Portions are huge and pricing is on point, so 10/10 recommend coming here to share in the goodness!

We came in late this Tuesday evening, 8:45, They were nearly packed, Sidewalk seats were full, weather was warm, felt like an Ensenada evening. When most places are cleaning up giving you the "Don't bother me it's late vibes" Venalonso's was rocking , food was cooked with love, served with a smile, with choice Mexican music playing, I felt welcomed, not a bother. Like I was at a fiesta. Chimichanga was crispy , not greasy, and really flavorful, combined with a Margarita, one of the best ever late night/ anytime meals ever, love it.

This place always hits the spot and I'm so glad for the second much larger location in Parker with lots of seating and a bar. I always tend to get the taco plate with a chicken and al pastor taco. Both are always cooked and seasoned to perfection. The taco plate comes with just the right amount of food. The sauce/side bar has lots of additions you can dress your food up with. You order and pay at the counter before receiving your food and I've never waited more than 10 minutes to receive my food. I want to go back and try breakfast at some point.

Ordering from the touchscreen kiosk is quick and straightforward, and the staff were all incredibly friendly, upbeat, and helpful. You can tell they genuinely enjoy being there. The food absolutely exceeded expectations. The crunch wrap was completely out of this world--hands down one of the best things I've eaten in a long time. We also started with chips and dips, which were fantastic and the perfect way to kick off the meal. And of course, the Mexican sodas were a must! They also have a really fun drink selection that makes the whole experience feel a little more special. One of the best parts was enjoying everything out on the patio. The inside has a few small tables and open kitchen concept. I couldn't eat anything too large (their burritos) so I decided to try their tacos. I ordered the steak, carnitas and upgraded the last taco to a birria. Water is self service and my food came out quickly. They had quite the variety of salsas. It ranged from light spice to very spicy. There wasn't one that was just mild. I tried the 3 middle ones and all had their own unique flavor and spice to it. The tacos were a bit disappointing. The steak and carnitas were fairly dry. I ended up dipping my carnitas into the consomme and that helped. I also did not notice much of a difference in my taco shell for the birria. It does cost extra to make the birria, so I wasn't thrilled about that. The consomme was a good compliment to the birria though. I will probably come back and try a burrito from this restaurant. Maybe the tacos aren't their strong suit.

The steak burrito was very good and flavorful and a decent size. Wasn't the biggest fan of the green chili smothered atop of the burrito; however, it was alright. It was a bit too sweet and tangy for my preference. The al pastor sope was very tasty, although they missed the pineapple i requested. I'd give the sope 5 stars, flautas 3.5 stars, & had I gotten a handheld burrito instead of a smothered one, I'd easily give it a 5 as well. my lunch date's al pastor burrito was good sized but was luke-warm and missing the pineapple he requested. he also ordered it with a green chili smother, which he didn't care for. The chili tasted sour, & he couldn't really determine the flavor (maybe lots of lime?), but it overpowered the flavor of the whole burrito. he well go back and try it again - definitely without their green chili. he also had a chili relleno which was very flavorful and average in size. the location is great with plenty of parking. the restaurant was fairly quiet, despite the time of day and number of patrons there. really nice staff. service felt slow, but we were famished, so that could be why. prices are rather palatable. I'd certainly return here again.
