Had my own image. It turned out great. I would use this bakery again. Price on point. I use to always go to Amy's but the quality has dropped alot even more so in their cupcakes. Very helpful and did an amazing job with my niece's huge 4 layer quincenera cake (200 people). We choose mango, strawberries and chocolate. It had a lot of fresh, sweet fruit and the chocolate cake was really good too. The frosting was just as I like it not too sweet and cake was not dry or too moist, just perfect. As far as the decoration's, well at first I was nervous about the flower selections I made but was not disappointed at all and arranged better than I had anticipated, and not to mention a lot nicer than the picture I provided. Been coming to this bakery for a while now and this past weekend was my last time! I ordered a red velvet cake for my niece and asked for roses to be designed on the top of the cake which I was charged an extra 12 dollars which I understand it requires more time to design. Everyone loved the way the cake looked until it was time to cut it the cake had 3 very thin layers of cream cheese frosting and red velvet cake and then on top it had a thick layer of reg frosting and chocolate cake. The chocolate cake was extremely dry and overpowered the taste of the red velvet cake. It seemed like such a sloppy and rushed job which is odd because I didn't place a super last minute order. I placed my order 4 days before I needed the cake. So disappointed and will not be ordering cakes anymore. read more

I wish I had a picture but I was so rushed the day of that I forgot to take one. The cake looked decent. It was just a flat half sheet cake with blue buttercream. The guy who put in the order refused to decorate the cake he said they don't do decorations but they can add a photo. I did all my own decorations on the cake. The reason why I'm giving them one star it's because we paid $80 for a plain cake for it to end up tasting so dry and terrible. Next time I'll just make my own cake and decorations. You can buy the molds to make fondant decorations and you are set. read more

The mangos are always fresh and sweet and the cakes are always soft and moist. The whip cream toppings on the cakes are perfect! Not too sweet and not too stiff. My mom even wants this cake for her birthday every year after tasting mine. I've also had the mini fruit tarts, which were delicious, the chocolate mousse cakes was awesome too. I love Venecia bakery! In particular their mango cake. The first time we tried it was for our godson's baptism and it was a hit with some people saying "it was the best cake they had ever had in their lives". This is my go-to place for a cake. My family is in love with the mango white cake. This is a Chinese style bakery so their cake is extremely fluffy and spongy. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I seem to be able to eat more of this cake because of how "light" it is. Their whip cream is so fluffy that it is the only topping that I would try and sneak that finger swipe from. They also personalize for free. And the best part is that they put it on a big ol' chocolate piece that you can rock-paper-scissors for! There was also mini cream buffs that were my fave, the filling was either a whipped cream or bavarian cream. I'm partial to bavarian but both were a hit at the party. A few days later i decided to visit the bakery. It's a corner bakery off Maple and Whittier. Nothing fancy. Owned by asian family. Now that surprised me, since it's primarily a latino area with a small mix of armenian. they had some mini red velvet cupcakes (this usually needs a few days in advance, but it was some left over from an order). They were scrumptiously sinful. all their cakes are moist and simple. they have a Mango cake with mango slices covering the top.. a choc cake with fresh strawberries.. a tiramisu cake.
