First time at Ventana and I tried the Ventana iced coffee a lighter version of a Vietnamese iced coffee. It was delicious I highly recommend it Service was quick and simple friendly staff. There's sitting inside for anyone who would like to stay and work or talk with friends.
Shoutout to my college friends that recommended this place. Double matcha is always a great choice. I was in the area and excited to try this place out. I didn't expect it to be tucked away in a plaza. The storefront looks simple and upon entering, it felt homey. It reminded me of a family owned Korean coffee shop. The staff making our order was helpful, kind, and friendly. I ordered on the kiosk and it was quick and easy. The Double Matcha was creamy and perfectly sweet. I ordered the large and it was worth it. The coffee shop has a restroom in the back, which was clean and organized. Highly recommend checking this place out.
Found this place on Doordash. It came in as the #2 most popular coffee shop. This place is in a shopping center, so plenty of parking. Inside is small, clean minimalist decor. There is a bench that wraps along the inside but not a lot of tables. They have kiosks to place your order. We order the Basque Cheesecake in original and matcha along with the Strawberry Morning Bun. The cheesecake ms were deliciously creamy, not too sweet and flavorful. The bun was flaky with hints of strawberry. The coffee is smooth and not bitter. You can customize the sweetness of your drinks. We added the sweet cold foam on the Iced Hazelnut Latte which was our favorite. The Strawberry Matcha has tons of strawberry flavor with sweet matcha flavor, not grassy. It tends to get busy in waves but their service is good
First time trying Ventana Coffee in Covina! I'd say it's more of a grab-and-go coffee spot than somewhere to sit and hang out. You order everything through a tablet, so there isn't much customer service or interaction. I also thought the add-ons were pretty pricey--around $1 for different milk, 50¢ for sugar-free options or syrups, plus extra for other customizations. My double matcha latte with almond milk, sugar-free sweetener, and lavender syrup came out to around $10. The matcha itself was actually really good! I'd give it an 8.5/10. My sister tried one of their espresso drinks and gave hers a 7.5/10. The biggest downside for me was definitely the price. I understand my substitutions add to the cost, but $10 for a standard-sized drink is a little too much for me to come back regularly. As for the atmosphere, there are some wooden seats, but it didn't really feel like a place to study or sit and catch up with friends. The back area had plants, boxes, and other items, so it definitely gave me more of a get your drink and go vibe. Overall, the matcha was delicious, but between the pricing, extra charges, and limited atmosphere, I probably wouldn't return. Worth trying once if you're curious though!
I was in the area and was craving for coffee. I found this place because of the nice reviews. This place is very spacious with lots of plants. They are also selling their own products. I ordered from the special drink menu. Ordering is self served. I ordered Sea salt cream dark, brown sugar latte and Iced lavender Matcha latte. There was only 1 barista working behind the counter. He smiled at every customer as they walked in while he was busy preparing for our orders. Nice services. The drink came out very tasty! It was not watered down. The matcha taste was strong, but yet I can still taste the lavender! I love it. Will come by again for more coffee when I am in the area.
I like this place just do not like ordering on DoorDash the items do not come secure and closed where a dasher can't tamper with your order. Would love if this was changed because 100% of my orders are always through dash because I rarely have tim. I'm always skeptical ordering like this.
Can I give this coffee 10 stars?!! This coffee is hands down the best damn coffee I've ever had locally. If you see this spot open, don't think...just walk in and order at the little kiosks. That part is self serve and super easy to do. I ordered my normal coffee beverage a cold brew and added sweet cold foam for $1 extra. When I tell you the foam changed my life I'm not even kidding! It's so worth it!!!!! This cold foam was so thick it could save your life if you fell down. If you had a leaky faucet at home, just order some cold foam and it'll stop that drip in its tracks. Like this cold foam can save on plastic and help the environment because it's so thick you don't even need a lid! I wish I could upload a video. Just go try it please. So good! It's such an unassuming little coffee spot next to a laundry place and Chuck E. Cheese in a shopping center that doesn't look like anything special. The interior is minimal with slashes of green plants, some of which are for sale. I haven't tried any of the other coffee drinks because I'm a creature of habit so cold brew is all I need. But if you're in the area, check this spot out! If you get to taste this magical brown elixir sent from the heavens with a touch of foam cloud goodness, you'll be so happy you did. Thank Ventana Coffee for making my afternoon the best ever!
This has been my go to spot recently. This place is in a medium size plaza. It is pretty close to a Chuck E Cheese. Parking may be challenging during the weekends but during the weekday mornings parking is great! Staff is very friendly. I am always greeted upon entering. They have 2 self-serve kiosks. I've recently been drinking the Ventana iced coffee and have been adding the sweet cream cold foam for an extra dollar also had the iced vanilla bean latte with the cold foam. Both are VERY GOOD! I also order the cheese croissant and it's was so flakey definitely a must try! Inside is all bench seating there is plenty of room to sit but not ideal for studying or officing with a laptop. There are no tables tops, they have "coffee table" style tables.
Wow! My husband loves trying new coffee and he tries to find ones that offer non coffee drinks for me. This one was an excellent choice for both of us. He had the sea salt cream dark brown sugar iced latte and I had the tumeric ginger honey iced latte. They were both amazing. My husband ordered his drink half sweet and it was perfect because of the sweet cream top. Staff was friendly and helpful.
I ordered through the kiosk located by the front register. It was easy and simple to use. Coffee: I ordered the horchata iced latte with oat milk and foam on the top. It was a good coffee. I would come back and order it again. Seating: plus size friendly. It is bench type seating with low tables. Not the most comfortable, but definitely mobility and plus size friendly.
Cute coffee spot, kinda lowkey but they had a wide menu of specialty drinks and I think some seasonal too. The baristas behind the counter were super friendly which is always appreciated :) They had some pastries as well I tried and were tasty too
Nice environment to work in. They dont have WiFi, but luckily I had my portable wifi with me. Not exactly comfortable to sit and do homework/work at. They ONE 8ft. table that is occupied by plants and is used for blocking their storage space. Restrooms are available you just have to request it. Serving time is a little bit slow, but they do their best to hand you your drink as soon as possible. The color of this place is pleasing to the eyes. My Butt hurts from sitting on their bench. Their are 2 "tables" spacious enough for a laptop and MAYBE a notebook on the side. The place was busy right after ordering my drink. I had their Ventana which is their take on a Vietnamese drink. My drink was solid. I would only comeback here if I was ordering to go. The place just doesn't have comfortable furniture to be at ease and I'm sure it's by design that they chose this type of furniture.
It's in an unassuming plaza. You wouldn't think there would be a coffee shop in there, but there is! The shop has benches for seating and some low tables to place your drinks on, but this definitely isn't a study spot. I think it's more of a grab and go or grab and chat spot. I got an iced large latte. I like that they have the option of a large cup! Most coffee shops only have the standard 16 oz cup for iced lattes, but Ventana Coffee offers 16 oz or 20 oz for iced lattes! The latte didn't wow me, so I wouldn't make the drive especially for Ventana Coffee, but if I were in the area and wanted a coffee, I would stop by. Service was great. Very kind.

I was recommended by a family member and I had to try it, am a coffee lover, but not just any, anywho the flavor...Omg I love it!! Service is so great they love to make sure the way they make your coffee is what you're looking for. if you're ever in this area of Azusa, you gotta try it. read more

I'm a fan of Ventana. So I feel ashamed for not having professed my love for this place earlier. They already have a much-deserved 5-star rating; they don't need my help... Well, still, I want to join the chorus and let everyone know that: 1. Their coffee and food (whether it's the panini and salad they make in-house or the baked goods they get from Mr Holmes every morning) are absolutely A+. 2. The place is always clean and neat. Perfect ambience and lighting for work/study (when the pandemic is over). And last but not least... 3. The owner Ric is the best. He's friendly, kind, humble, attentive, and passionate about what he does. Not to mention he's an excellent barista. There's no better coffee this side of the 605. Hope they can hang in there during this difficult time. read more

Came here because the reviews were all 5 stars so I wanted to check it out! It's a little hard to find since it is kind of hidden with other little shops. I ordered the cold brew coffee with a side of half & half. I tried the cold brew by itself and was smooth and pretty strong just how I like it! The 2 male employees (not sure if owners) were super friendly and very soft nice voices! This place also has online ordering so you could schedule when you want to pick up your drinks. Overall, great coffee, cute, bright interior with some cool minimalistic looking tote bags that said 'social distancing' was really thinking about buying one & I should've lol. If in the area will definitely be back to try out the food! read more
On my recent trip to SoCal I was looking for a quiet coffee shop near Azusa Pacific to grab a drink and bite to eat. This spot in Covina definitely fit the bill! The interior was super clean and had a nice modern look. I ordered an iced latte with oat milk and grabbed a nearby table. My drink was prepared quickly while I logged onto the free wifi. As I sat there drinking my coffee and killing time, I noticed the staff being very responsive to a number of questions that customers had for them. I eventually ordered a grilled cheese with side salad. The food was prepared with simple, quality ingredients and hit the spot. I'll definitely be coming back when I'm in town! read more

Love this local coffee place! Have been many times to support them during this pandemic and the drinks have been great every single time. This last time I went I ordered the half gallon cold brew which came with a free carton of oat milk and it lasted me all week (my husband and I both helped ourselves freely and it lasted the whole week!), it's a great deal for $20 because the cold brew is strong and actually wakes you up! Always service with a smile! Definitely recommend this place! read more

If you have not been to this coffee shop, you really must try. It competes with LA coffee shops in terms of aesthetics and coffee quality- but without the LA struggle for parking and crowded people. It's in a large plaza with plenty of parking and even on a weekend there are plenty of seats available. Great place to study and get work done. The cafe has got the looks down with the wooden tables, natural sunlight, turquoise color scheme, and plants. If you're looking for the insta worthy coffee shot that'll make all your friends rave with jealousy? This is the spot. Their coffee is made from beans from 49th Parallel and has baked goods from Mr. Holme's Bakehouse. Basically bringing SF to you. I ordered their combo meal for $13.75 that includes a food and drink. I got their vanilla latte and turkey panini. The vanilla latte was smooth and creamy tasting with latte art. The panini was beautifully presented and included a spinach salad with tomatoes, olives, and strawberries. I also got a matcha croissant which tasted really good with the latte. The croissant was buttery and rich and had a good sweet matcha taste. You can also buy their beans and mugs as well. Super cute and great gift idea for your coffee loving friends. I have to commend whoever chooses the music for this place because they have such good taste. Their playlist gives off the perfect coffee shop vibes. My negatives would be that the seats are kind of uncomfortable after a while and that there was some construction being done in the back that made it distracting for me to study. If you're going to do construction, don't do it in the morning on a weekend if you're a coffee shop. I planned to spend an entire afternoon here but the drilling and hammering became so loud (you can hear it even from the outside) that I had to leave early. It was also a little expensive-$19 for a coffee, pastry, and sandwich. Overall I would come again and would recommend anyone to come. read more

An old Yogurt shop turned into a coffee shop. These specialty coffee drinks can get expensive, my iced salted caramel latte was 6 bucks. We also noticed they have cool gold toned stainless steel straws for sale, I ended up buying one for the lady of the house. read more

Nice and quiet coffee place to stop by and grab a drink or to hang out. Not many options in Covina/West Covina for coffee besides Starbucks. This place is authentic for its coffee. Staff is great with customer service. I couldn't decide and they gave suggestions. Ended up with my usually cold brew with oat milk. Not many coffee places offer a variety of milk. My cold brew was perfectly made with just enough oat milk. It is located inside a plaza with many parking spaces. They even have spots reserved right in front for to go customers. I highly recommend this place and can't wait to try their other coffees next time. read more

We got the blended horchata after trying an horchata elsewhere and being highly disappointed lol and man this one was soooooo good. I love sleep especially on a cool cloudy day because it's a time machine to breakfast. Lol. Without further ado let's begin this bloody review. Ventana Coffee is a small and cute specialty coffee shop that serve great coffee, teas and pastries. They're located in a midsize plaza on Azusa avenue in Covina. I came here on a late morning to grab a light breakfast to start my day. Interior design and atmosphere were modern and inviting, respectively. It's inside was very spacious and naturally well lit. Their menu list was simple and not extensive but perfect enough to have a good light breakfast. I ordered a regular coffee, cold brew and cinnamon raisin avocado cc bagel. Drinks were perfectly made to my liking. Similarly, the bagel was warm and delightful. Service was on point. Staff was assiduous, nice and followed health protocol. Prices were fair and average for a coffee shop. I end up with a $15 dollar bill for everything. Parking was not an issue and very easy. Overall, I had a good order experience and light brunch. I heard from friends this place was good for the matcha latte and finally decided to give it a try. I ordered and asked for no iced, normally they would tell you that they aren't gonna top it off which I was expecting but this is only sightly less than half the drink lol and I paid $7 for this. Crazy! Guy in the front could've at least told me but nope! Matcha was good creamy but not worth the price. read more

Absolutely beautiful and bright coffee shop! There's greenery throughout and open windows! Very clean and cool. I tried a Nutella iced latte and it was delicious!!!! They also have a rewards program Plenty of parking in a shared shopping center lot. They have a water station set up. We did not use the restrooms. And the customer service was great! Looking for a local coffee shop that's NOT a Starbucks? Was pleasantly surprised upon walking in. The shop is nicely decorated, vibrant, and welcoming! Staff was friendly and helpful for a first timer like myself. Got to try an Iced Nutella Latte w/Soy and it was really happy with my drink... espresso went really well with the Nutella, you just have to give it a good shake and mix. Next time I'm in the area, I'll definitely try the rest of the menu. read more

Excited I found a new coffee shop. Found this gem on Yelp and decided to try it. Inviting shop with friendly employees. Their iced vanilla latte was perfect. I'm always up to trying new coffee shops! I was near this location so I stopped by to try it. Super cute interior and the guy that helped me was nice (not sure if he's the owner or not). I got an iced latte with breve and vanilla and salted caramel syrup. It was tasty and a little bit too sweet, I could have just stuck with vanilla syrup.
