Ventana Coffee is one of those hidden gems I wish I lived closer to because every visit feels like a little escape. Their espresso is consistently top-tier. Rich, velvety, and full-bodied, with that perfect crema that signals they know exactly what they're doing behind the bar. My cappuccino was a dream, frothy with just the right balance of milk and espresso, allowing the bold, nuanced flavors to shine without veering into bitterness.

My boyfriend's Americano was equally impressive, smooth, refreshing, with a clean, satisfying finish. There's also has a fantastic selection of specialty drinks, and the ones I've tried so far have been absolute winners. Their...

vanilla bean latte, for example, is dangerously crave-worthy. The subtle sweetness of the vanilla enhances the espresso without overpowering it, making it one of those drinks I keep thinking about days later. The space itself is equally delightful. Bright, airy, and filled with plants that give it a tranquil yet lively vibe. The service is prompt, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, which only adds to the whole experience. And while you wait for your coffee, it's hard not to be tempted by their adorable retail items. We don't get to Covina often, but Ventana Coffee is always worth the trip.

In a shared plaza with many other stores, but not too hard to find parking. Walking in, you can tell it's a coffee shop mainly to grab and go, or can sit and chat with a friend. I wouldn't say it's a good place to do work here because the tables are quite low and it's mainly bench seating here. It's also amusing that you could tell this place used to be a yogurtland because they blocked off the area where you could walk over to the froyo machine haha. The layout is very much like yogurtland, but I wish they utilize more of the space to do more with this coffee shop. Ordering was easy with the tablet, but it would ask soooo many questions on adjustments. The formatting would be easier if it was all in one page but you'd have to go through each question one by one to process the checkout. So I was debating between the Iced Coffee and the Latte, but ended up going with the Iced Coffee.

My bf also ordered the Americano. Trying out our drinks, WEEWWWW these drinks are soooo strong!! Definitely giving that kick of caffeine in the day and it also tastes great. Definitely well worth for the taste and caffeine effect on me!

I was in the area and was craving for coffee. I found this place because of the nice reviews. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is very spacious with lots of plants.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They are also selling their own products. I ordered from the special drink menu. Ordering is self served. I ordered Sea salt cream dark, brown sugar latte and Iced lavender Matcha latte. There was only 1 barista working behind the counter. He smiled at every customer as they walked in while he was busy preparing for our orders. Nice services. The drink came out very tasty! It was not watered down. The matcha taste was strong, but yet I can still taste the lavender! I love it. Will come by again for more coffee when I am in the area.

I love trying new coffee shops whenever I can and I'm so happy that I was able to visit here. I tried a hot Rose Latte with soy milk (I can never find places that offer soy as an option!!) and it was incredibly delicious. I'm the type of person that will get hot drinks on a hot day and find them super refreshing. I visited on a weekday around 2pm and the person working was super friendly and helpful. My drink was ready very quickly and [[HIGHLIGHT]]I enjoyed all the beautiful plants that were in the shop![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This has been my go to spot recently. This place is in a medium size plaza. It is pretty close to a Chuck E Cheese. Parking may be challenging during the weekends but during the weekday mornings parking is great! Staff is very friendly. I am always greeted upon entering. They have 2 self-serve kiosks. I've recently been drinking the Ventana iced coffee and have been adding the sweet cream cold foam for an extra dollar also had the iced vanilla bean latte with the cold foam. Both are VERY GOOD! I also order the cheese croissant and it's was so flakey definitely a must try! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside is all bench seating there is plenty of room to sit but not ideal for studying or officing with a laptop. There are no tables tops, they have "coffee table" style tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I ordered through the kiosk located by the front register. It was easy and simple to use. Coffee: I ordered the horchata iced latte with oat milk and foam on the top. It was a good coffee. I would come back and order it again. Seating: plus size friendly. It is bench type seating with low tables. Not the most comfortable, but definitely mobility and plus size friendly.

Cute coffee spot, kinda lowkey but they had a wide menu of specialty drinks and I think some seasonal too. The baristas behind the counter were super friendly which is always appreciated :) They had some pastries as well I tried and were tasty too

Nice environment to work in. They dont have WiFi, but luckily I had my portable wifi with me. Not exactly comfortable to sit and do homework/work at. They ONE 8ft. table that is occupied by plants and is used for blocking their storage space. Restrooms are available you just have to request it. Serving time is a little bit slow, but they do their best to hand you your drink as soon as possible. The color of this place is pleasing to the eyes. My Butt hurts from sitting on their bench. Their are 2 "tables" spacious enough for a laptop and MAYBE a notebook on the side. The place was busy right after ordering my drink. I had their Ventana which is their take on a Vietnamese drink. My drink was solid. I would only comeback here if I was ordering to go. The place just doesn't have comfortable furniture to be at ease and I'm sure it's by design that they chose this type of furniture.

It's in an unassuming plaza. You wouldn't think there would be a coffee shop in there, but there is! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The shop has benches for seating and some low tables to place your drinks on, but this definitely isn't a study spot. I think it's more of a grab and go or grab and chat spot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I got an iced large latte. I like that they have the option of a large cup! Most coffee shops only have the standard 16 oz cup for iced lattes, but Ventana Coffee offers 16 oz or 20 oz for iced lattes! The latte didn't wow me, so I wouldn't make the drive especially for Ventana Coffee, but if I were in the area and wanted a coffee, I would stop by. Service was great. Very kind.

I'll start off by saying I love ventana coffee. This is probably one of the greatest hidden gems in the Covina community. Owners are very friendly & always greet every costumer with a smile. Place is cozy and quaint with a variety of plants are a part of their decor. Coffee itself is amazing, I enjoy both the vanilla bean & horchata iced latte. Both of these coffees are the perfect balance of sweet & strong which is my favorite combination of all. If you'd like to add a little more sweetness you could never go wrong with their cold foam which pairs perfectly on both drinks. I have also had their limited time double matcha latte which was perfect as well. The drink comes with matcha cold foam which gives it some sweetness as well. One can order and adjust their drink preference on the self order screens. It's a great accommodation to visualize the drinks and order based on your preference! Overall Ventana is one of my favorites and would recommend it to anyone who would ask!

HIDDEN GEM in Covina , I had no idea there is a local coffee shop in this plaza until my friend took me here. The decor is so chic and cute with quite a few plants. You can order your coffee on the terminal kiosk , super easy and pay with credit card. There are alot of specialty coffee that you can pick up or you can customize your coffee. I ordered the Iced Sea Salt Dark Brown Sugar Latte with oat milk, it was soooooooo good that I came back the next day. It's addicting! Ventana Coffee is also on Doordash if you want delivery/pick up instead. I will definitely come back to try other coffee.

I wanted to try a new coffee spot and I'm so glad I did! Their Thai tea latte is nice and creamy with the perfect blend of tea and spices. The staff was very friendly and helpful when I asked questions about their menu. The interior is a small area for sitting with current Christmas decor. This is a great spot if you want to try out some nice drinks.

I don't know if it's true, but the interior reminds me of an old Yogurt shop remodeled.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibes inside the cafe is really chill with indie music playing in the background and several plants arranged in the store.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The Ventana ice coffee is dark and rich in flavor. But not too much where you can't drink anymore. Similar to a Vietnamese coffee. It's something perfect if you want to wake up! [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have a wall of benches for you to sit on and 7 tables for you to put your drink on.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall I will return in the future and support this small business!

Definitely a five star coffee shop for the area. Ventana thought of everything that makes me appreciate a coffee shop - clean ambiance, affordable drip coffee, milk alternatives and yummy pastries. My go to is the Lavender Honey Latte with oat milk and banana toffee muffin. Cold brew is good too. Everything I've tried is made with so much care and quality. Prices are comparable to L.A. city prices but I don't mind it at all. Thanks Ventana for bringing quality drinks to the suburbs! read more

Boy am I glad I didn't come here before work or an important interview or meeting. The service is really good the gentleman are so beyond nice, the coffee is okay but they really really are very slow at getting your coffee out I came here with enough buffer time of about 15 -20 minutes between the next thing I had to do and I was still late to my next appointment they take way too long getting your coffee out. Especially in the morning when I think it should be people getting your coffee out faster since you're on your way to work there was only one person at a time in the barista area and then another person would come and help temporarily and go back to the back while many people waited for their coffee for just as long as I did. If they were to get their coffees out faster especially in the morning I think they would get a solid four stars they're a little pricey for coffee...I paid nearly $8 for a specialty latte which is way more than I would like to pay so I don't know if I'll be coming back especially with how long it took them to get my coffee out when either earlier late to my next appointment work together at the same time apparently. read more

If you have not been to this coffee shop, you really must try. It competes with LA coffee shops in terms of aesthetics and coffee quality- but without the LA struggle for parking and crowded people. It's in a large plaza with plenty of parking and even on a weekend there are plenty of seats available. Great place to study and get work done. The cafe has got the looks down with the wooden tables, natural sunlight, turquoise color scheme, and plants. If you're looking for the insta worthy coffee shot that'll make all your friends rave with jealousy? This is the spot. Their coffee is made from beans from 49th Parallel and has baked goods from Mr. Holme's Bakehouse. Basically bringing SF to you. I ordered their combo meal for $13.75 that includes a food and drink. I got their vanilla latte and turkey panini. The vanilla latte was smooth and creamy tasting with latte art. The panini was beautifully presented and included a spinach salad with tomatoes, olives, and strawberries. I also got a matcha croissant which tasted really good with the latte. The croissant was buttery and rich and had a good sweet matcha taste. You can also buy their beans and mugs as well. Super cute and great gift idea for your coffee loving friends. I have to commend whoever chooses the music for this place because they have such good taste. Their playlist gives off the perfect coffee shop vibes. My negatives would be that the seats are kind of uncomfortable after a while and that there was some construction being done in the back that made it distracting for me to study. If you're going to do construction, don't do it in the morning on a weekend if you're a coffee shop. I planned to spend an entire afternoon here but the drilling and hammering became so loud (you can hear it even from the outside) that I had to leave early. It was also a little expensive-$19 for a coffee, pastry, and sandwich. Overall I would come again and would recommend anyone to come. read more

An old Yogurt shop turned into a coffee shop. These specialty coffee drinks can get expensive, my iced salted caramel latte was 6 bucks. We also noticed they have cool gold toned stainless steel straws for sale, I ended up buying one for the lady of the house. read more

This is a cute little coffee shop, tucked away in a shopping center in Azusa in Covina. I had the Lavender Vanilla Bean Latte with oat-milk. it was rich in flavor and smooth. Nice and quiet coffee place to stop by and grab a drink or to hang out. Not many options in Covina/West Covina for coffee besides Starbucks. This place is authentic for its coffee. Staff is great with customer service. I couldn't decide and they gave suggestions. Ended up with my usually cold brew with oat milk. Not many coffee places offer a variety of milk. My cold brew was perfectly made with just enough oat milk. It is located inside a plaza with many parking spaces. They even have spots reserved right in front for to go customers. I highly recommend this place and can't wait to try their other coffees next time. read more

Ventana Coffee is a small and cute specialty coffee shop that serve great coffee, teas and pastries. They're located in a midsize plaza on Azusa avenue in Covina. I came here on a late morning to grab a light breakfast to start my day. Interior design and atmosphere were modern and inviting, respectively. It's inside was very spacious and naturally well lit. Their menu list was simple and not extensive but perfect enough to have a good light breakfast. I ordered a regular coffee, cold brew and cinnamon raisin avocado cc bagel. Drinks were perfectly made to my liking. Similarly, the bagel was warm and delightful. Service was on point. Staff was assiduous, nice and followed health protocol. Prices were fair and average for a coffee shop. I end up with a $15 dollar bill for everything. Parking was not an issue and very easy. Overall, I had a good order experience and light brunch. I highly recommend this coffee shop. read more

I heard from friends this place was good for the matcha latte and finally decided to give it a try. I ordered and asked for no iced, normally they would tell you that they aren't gonna top it off which I was expecting but this is only sightly less than half the drink lol and I paid $7 for this. Crazy! Guy in the front could've at least told me but nope! Matcha was good creamy but not worth the price. read more

Absolutely beautiful and bright coffee shop! There's greenery throughout and open windows! Very clean and cool. I tried a Nutella iced latte and it was delicious!!!! They also have a rewards program Plenty of parking in a shared shopping center lot. They have a water station set up. We did not use the restrooms. And the customer service was great! I've had this place bookmarked for a while, and I was excited to see they were open on Christmas Eve, so I finally got the chance to try it! I will say first - the service is extremely slow! We had 2 people in front of us, and our drinks took like there were 10 or 15 people in front of us! I got the nutella latte (the reason I wanted to try this place), and it was tasty! I wish the nutella flavor was a bit stronger, but not a bad drink. I also got the vanilla bean latte to have the next morning (since places would be closed for Christmas), and I don't know if keeping it overnight ruined the quality, but it tasted like vanilla protein powder! Not enjoyable at all. read more

Looking for a local coffee shop that's NOT a Starbucks? Was pleasantly surprised upon walking in. The shop is nicely decorated, vibrant, and welcoming! Staff was friendly and helpful for a first timer like myself. Got to try an Iced Nutella Latte w/Soy and it was really happy with my drink... espresso went really well with the Nutella, you just have to give it a good shake and mix. Next time I'm in the area, I'll definitely try the rest of the menu. read more

I never have done a review on Yelp, and I usually just make my coffee at home because I can't find any places worth going day to day. This place is the BEST coffee I've ever had. And I've had some good coffee. Also milk alternative coffee just never taste good to me and they make the best iced coconut milk latte, it's better than any regular milk latte I've had! I hope these guys open other locations and are here to stay! read more

I'm always up to trying new coffee shops! I was near this location so I stopped by to try it. Super cute interior and the guy that helped me was nice (not sure if he's the owner or not). Love going to coffee shops, was excited to see such a well rated shop. Came in and you order from tablet, waited 15 minutes for one coffee, very sugary even at 50% sweetness, pictures are a bit misleading there is no table to sit and comfortably eat or use a computer. At $6.75 a coffee, I would not recommend. There are several other coffee shops within a short distance with better coffee and more inviting ambiance. read more

Was in there today...this morning. I asked for an ice coffee with a shot of lavender and light ice. I was given my coffee. I asked the lady to take ice out. There was so much ice... extra ice. She said she would have to put water in my drink to fill it up. I asked her if it was an americano (espresso and water). She said their iced coffee is an americano. After checking on Yelp..I see they sell both iced coffee and iced americanos. Americanos are of course on the lower price point. So why was I given an americano with extra ice and falsehoods? They also advertise fresh juice to go. You see tasty looking juices on the window... Not like Jamba Juice but what you get in Whole Foods. They don't keep a menu for their juices which I don't understand. They have a paper menu for their coffee and food. Why can't they bother to print their list of juices or at least give me some names of the product they sell and loudly advertise? I asked if was a ghost kitchen because that would make more sense. It's not. If you want juices you have to go online to look it up. I was going to buy a juice for me and my son. But after curtly being told to look it up online... I passed. read more

Ventana Coffee is a gem amongst businesses in a prefabricated plaza. This plaza doesnt deserve Ventana to be there at all. Besides the plaza its in, The inside of the shop is super clean and is totally opposite of the surrounding businesses within the plaza. It's almost shameful that I didn't write this review soon enough. But let's start with their work ethic: They are super organized and when it's super busy, I've watched them push the orders out like clockwork. The quality: they use 49th Parallel coffee beans and even though they don't roast their own beans (which is something I find almost necessary for a specialty coffee shop), they have them coming in consistently enough that they guarantee the freshness with every batch they get. I recommend their Iced Dirty Ventana if you like strong iced coffees. read more

My guy took my beer back up. The bartender re-poured the beer but it wasn't any better. My guy said his blood orange didn't even have orange, he said it was really bitter like they used the rind instead. We couldn't do it! We left our beers on the table and left. I asked my guy to tell the bartender but he didn't. So beerless, beers sucked this time. Hopefully the brewmaster gets it together.. what a waste of 2 $9. Beers.. No food order, but they did have a pop up, ambiance was ok.. Service was food. Beer.. NOT so much!!

Food is fresh and the taste hits all the notes. My favorite has to be the butter chicken, chicken curry, their fresh Naan and the vegetable coconut curry. This is my go to when it comes to buying my spices, lentils and curry paste. My daughter also buys her hair oils here. Balu the owner is such a sweetheart. Always so helpful and willing to explain. I am in love with this place to the point where I came back to back. I couldn't stop thinking about the de pollo sandwich and the oozing mozzarella cheese in it with sundried tomatoes, two of my faves combined. Customer service is outstanding and friendly! Very personable! My fattass came in at 10 a.m. wanting a sandwich, their grill wasn't on (they usually turn it on during lunch) but the owner happily turned on the grill for me and made me a early morning sandwich. Sandwiches take about 10-15 mins to make and calling in orders are welcomed. Now to the coffee, I am not a coffee drinker and if I do drink it, I like it with a sh^% load of milk and sweetner with just a splash of coffee. But omg, 49th parallel, is light with a sweet mild taste and not bitter at all. My iced vanilla latte was perfect and so creamy! So happy this awesome place opened so close to work! read more

Ventana is a nice local coffee shop, and is right off Azusa! Always great to see new places show up in West Co! I enjoyed the coffee and it was well priced. It's cool that they took an old yogurt place and updated it to a modern looking chic coffee place. The wifi is fast, and they don't blast music that isn't easy to listen to! I liked the decor, and I liked the options on their menu! It's always a great thing to support local, and I would easily recommend this place to anyone who enjoys coffee or is looking for a change of place to work at. I was able to work here for a few hours without being interrupted, and I just can enjoy myself. They have outlets, and it's a very relaxed atmosphere. This coffee shop is a hidden gem provided that the surrounding businesses and the whole shopping complex is kind of sketchy looking. Once you set foot inside the shop, however, the interior makes you forget what it's like outside. The use of brand colors and the overall merch display reminds you that they thought everything through. Now to the coffee. They use delicious beans of high quality-49th Parallel. The baristas work super hard to make good coffee for the community! Ventana means 'window' in Spanish and there isn't a better name for this coffee shop.
