I initially had a very negative experience at this store. However Steven called me personally and made a very heartfelt apology about the experience I had. I was impressed with his candidness and his eagerness to make things right with me. While you can't make every experience perfect I'm very pleased with the lengths that this store has gone to make my experience right. I also found that a lot of the financial concerns I had were put to bed once I had a chance to examine things more closely (although I would've appreciated a more thorough breakdown at the time of purchase). Me and my family went to that location to switch our cellular service from a different company to Verizon on Feb 13th. We were met by a person named Benjamin Buso. Our experience was a delayed disappointment and frustration---the best I can describe it. At first, this is NOT an Verizon corporate store (although there is no indication to that fact). I started out letting them know our intention to go to the store with all my family members. Mr. Buso started by asking our phone numbers and other identifications, and thus, started process the request. I asked if my service is going to be $35 perlite as advertised on Verizon's website, Mr. Buso said it is, and I must have the automation payment option to have that deal, I gave my credit to him, and said I wanted him to process the automatic payment option with my credit card, Mr. Buso simply took my credit card and said nothing about how that could be done... After about half an hour later, towards the end of process, he said there was a $150 charges for the device activation fee that I must pay. I did not think too much of it, the activation fee must be paid I thought. Then, just before leaving the store, he casually reminded me that I will have another $40 per line (I have four lines) fee need to pay, it will be on my first phone bill. It was approaching dinner time, and we left the store without asking any other questions thinking this day of age, they would just do the right thing. It started the very next day, and the following Monday, I continue to receive several text messages from Verizon to inform me about my new services and charges. This is the time I started to pay attention, and I got on the phone with Verizon directly... I was informed that Verizon do charge activation fees with my first monthly phone bill, BUT, not at the store level. I told the person on the phone that I have paid the device activation fees already, why am I being charged twice for the same activation fee?! After much probing, Verizon finally told me that the store I went to is an independent retail outfit, NOT a corporate owned store, therefore, Verizon has no control what they could charge me at the store... In that same phone call, I was also told that my phone bill was NOT $35 per line, because my automatic pay option was NOT set up, and no, there is no retail store could set this option up for me. I must do it myself online/on the app or I will not receive the same deal I see online... Here is the joke! I was charged $150 at that store for a device activation fee, I did not buy any new phone, I brought my own phones to switch the service. It cost me $150 for changing out the SIM card? They did NOT have the courage to tell me they charge me simply being there, and sneak in the charges. That is NOT acceptable! Joke #2, I asked for setting up automatic payment option, they did not inform me that they could not do that, and did not inform me the difference perlite charges if I don't set it up myself. What a service, WOW! As you can expected, I called the store on Monday after talking to Verizon. I asked for the owner and or manager, and was told neither was there, and they have not contact me back regarding this... My advise to you is, this is the place to VOID! Bad service and somewhat dishonest ! This is the follow up: After emails and phone calls with the store, they, of course, denied everything, short of accusing me of any wrong doing...... Just like their Facebook post said: " These people there are worse than the used car salesperson." I think this remark is right on the mark. Thanks to the district manager and Elvin from sales for helping resolve my issue it took two weeks but I was able to get some credit to go towards my account even though it wasn't what I thought i would get originally but it was helpful. Let me start by saying that I work in cellular sales and did not want to be "that" customer. Please beware of their "$35 device set up fee". I have gotten two iPhones on Sunday and another two yesterday on Monday. They were having get one iPhone get $700 off the second one, essentially making the second free. Great deal. On Sunday I was not charge no device set up fee. No problems on Sunday. I return Monday and I thought the total included the activation fee for both phones which is why I thought the total was correct. Mind you we do not see what we are getting charged just the total amount and signature. But apparently when we were told by Richmond and Sonia "taxes and fees" that seemed to be a fee. Nevertheless, one iPhone wasn't even set up, all they did was a test call. The second iPhone you gave to me so I can enter my iCloud information from the three backups I had done myself that day. So I get charged $35 for a 6 minute transfer from my own iCloud backup? Ridiculous. So a total of $70 and all I was offered was a complimentary case. Not impressed. They refused to give me a refund and put FINAL SALE. Maybe next time let your customers know there is a $35 set up fee because most likely we know how to do it ourselves and don't need to pay that amount. UPDATE: emailed them a week ago for "further assistance" but no reply back. That seems to be their general reply to anyone with a bad review though, so wasn't expecting anything different. UPDATE: Tried emailing and calling their customer service no response as of yet. I also found out that one of my iPhone 11s were defective on the screen and went on Dec 8 to get them to do a 14 day warranty exchange and they were not willing to do it due to the fact that it was "our fault". But how? There's no scratches or cracks, the phone was barely two weeks old with a case on it at all times. Then I go to a corporate Verizon store only to find out that they had removed my Total Mobile Protection Plan for 10 devices, 3 claims a year for only $45/month only to have had it on one device for $12.50. Luckily I was able to get it back on from the Verizon Store on Limonite in Mira Loma/Eastvale. Please drive the extra miles and minutes to go there! It is a corporate store not an authorized retailer and their customer service is so much better. This will have been my third bad experience at this store. I have warned every single person who I know that has Verizon to no longer go here. I am a person of giving them chances but this is unbelievable too many bad experiences. read more

Bought a few phones here for an upgrade. Had an employee by the name of Jenny. She was very helpful and patient.

Went in to switch from a different provider. I needed 2 new lines and 2 phones. I walk in and some guy at the very opposite side of the entrance was sitting behind a desk. He had a mask on but had it pulled down under his chin. He was eating subway cookies. He asks how he can help and after I told him, he remained at his desk and told me the price for a standard 5g plan (that doesn't include 5g by the way). Long story short, almost every question I asked he basically answered "I'm not sure or I can check for you". Some of the questions I asked were how much internal storage the newest Galaxy phone had, or if there were any other phones they sold that had external storage capabilities. He literally couldn't answer those questions. Any prices he told me were "11 or 12" instead of exact pricing like $1,100.00.. The guy was extremely unprofessional, yawned loudly a few times and stretched while helping me, and seemed so anxious anytime other customers would walk into the store giving me body language that he wanted to help them instead. I don't know his name since he never told me. He appeared to be of Indian decent and I don't think has ever had any formal customer service training. After all the unclear answers I received, in the end, the Galaxy Note Ultra I wanted wasn't even in stock (also one of the questions I initially asked and he had answered "I'm not sure, I'm sure we have it, but I can double check for you."). Because the store didn't even have half of what I went in to get and mostly due to the horrible impression and sub par customer service, I won't be back and will drive out of my way to a corporate store instead. read more

All this place cared about was making a sale, and don't care if they screw over their customers. I used to work in phones and never lied to a customer the way that Gerry (Gerardo) lied to my boyfriend and I. We had to pay an entire month of service without a phone because of his wrong information. The manager was useless and over the phone correction was a nightmare. We ended up on the phone for 2 hours to fix what Gerry did wrong and are still having issues because he selected the wrong phone plan as well. Don't go to this store if you're looking to be taken care of right, my boyfriend is a Verizon customer of 14 years and has never had an issue until Gerry. The customer service over the phone agreed that we were screwed over and did everything they could to help us out of our bill, but it was inevitable. Came here to check for a promo phone upgrade I found online through Verizon. The store manager offered a different promo that would save me less money so I decided to decline the offer. The manager said he would "place the phone in the cart" so it wouldn't get bought by other customers and that I could think on it. After going home and checking for the original deal with Verizon online, I discovered a pending order had been placed at this store without my authorization and I could not get the promo I wanted because of the pending order. Tried cancelling the unauthorized order over the phone and was told I had to come in to the store to authorize the cancellation. Went back and the manager explained that the order cancellation will take two business days because it's already being processed and to call corporate who had already said they can't cancel it because this store was the one who ordered it. Upon asking why it was ordered in the first place, the manager stated "putting the phone in the cart is the same as ordering" and refused to discuss why he ordered it without our consent. This was one of the most unethical and dishonest business transactions I have experienced in a long time and would not recommend anyone come here. read more

this location has really sunk. i always have issues here even when getting my previous iphone. i came back again because it's the closest verizon to my house but the representative here do not want to work. i came in wanting to upgrade to the apple watch ultra 2 and the iphone 15 pro max. i mentioned the watch first and without getting a chance to mention the phone, the representative requested i order through the app. giving me false reasons like its faster through your phone. once i mentioned i wanted a phone too, he was extremely persistent on getting account access. when i asked about why the sudden change, he mentions it can now arrive in a few days. their literally just trying to squeeze every penny out of you here. if your not gonna give them a sale, their not going to help you. it's really pointless to go to a third party verizon when corporate is so much better. they lost me as a customer here with their short attitude and extreme distaste of customer service read more

The staff and management at this store totally rock! Came in with a major cell phone emergency. My cell would not charge, was at 3% and I had a hugely important sales call I had to make 90 mins from when I showed up. A team of three came to my rescue and we worked through all my options and came up w the best, cheapest solution possible. I was 90 miles from home and they let me hang in their back office and charge my cell, my laptop that was almost out of battery and I needed to run the online sales demo portion on (the manager even went to his car and got a laptop charger because I had left mine at home), and they even let me stay there to do my sales call so I would not have to sit and do it in my baking hot car in 95 degree temps! Professional, friendly and really went way above and beyond to help out a frantic customer. Amazing!!! read more

Horrible location to pursue anything with Verizon. I go into the store to sign up for Verizon and get the new iPhone 12 with the new trade in promotion. I go the first day to be helped by elvin who was nice and helpful and got the process started in ordering my new phone. I show up 3 weeks later to be helped by Humberto from here on out. Apparently their computer system wasn't recognizing my promotion I signed up for so they took my old iPhone as an organic trade and applied the significantly less money to my first payment when it should've been towards the iPhone in credits. My plan information was all wrong, I was signed up for extra products that I didn't request. I continuously try to follow up with Humberto to get this plan problem resolved and he hasn't responded to me in 2 weeks and still haven't heard anything about my plan getting resolved. I took matters into my own hands and called customer care for Verizon where I was helped and given reassurance that he would fix and follow up with me. The customer service was horrible from Humberto. I visited the store 3-4 times and basically got told there's nothing he could do for me. He gave me his cell number to reach him directly and that's when I got Ghosted from him. I would recommend not going to this location to avoid issues like this because this is a indirect Verizon store. Go to a corporate Verizon store that can communicate directly with Verizon to avoid these problems that can occur. I won't be returning nor will I ever recommend someone to this location. read more

Finally decided to switch from AT&T to Verizon after 9 years and some very bad customer service these last couple of months. I was so upset that I picked a random Verizon store in the area and went in to begin the switch over. Once we walked in, I immediately didn't feel a welcoming atmosphere. I was greeted by a sales rep who immediately asked if I had an appointment. I didn't know I needed an appointment when there was just one other customer in the store and was already being helped by another sales. That felt like a strange question, I was about to turn around and head to another location, but everywhere else was closing in an hour that day. I asked to check a stock on a particular phone and after several minutes of searching I was told that model wasn't in stock. I couldn't stick around after that and told the sales that sorry I only want that model and needed to leave to the next Verizon store in the city before closing. This was when he raises his voice and tells me that I could just get another color....... bottom line, at first seems reluctant to help then at the end he starts to be pushy. I came in today to replace my phone screen protector ( it did the job, I didn't damage my phone) while I was there I asked about a charging adapter that I may buy for my pixel phone. A few months ago I bought some extra charging cables (at another Verizon store) but when I went to use it I was missing a piece. Come to find out they don't sell that extra piece, so this store offered to give me a discount on a new charging set. They also asked me about other phone lines in my account and my needs for the service. I ended up switching a product out and get ng something better. I phoned the Chino store I explained to the salesman Johan we had service from AT&T and want to switch to Verizon. He gave me the break down of the current promotions and our phone trade-in's. Everything seemed acceptable. We headed down to the store at 7055 Schaefer Ave in Chino when I realized this was an authorized retail store. I ignored my previous experiences with authorized retailers and figured we would give Cellular Sales a chance. In the beginning Johan helped us get 3 new phones; Note Ultra, iPhone 12 Promax and an iPhone 12. We were shown and bought the expensive phone cases, chargers and screen protectors. When we came to the 'Plans' Johan explained the plans and we settled on the start unlimited plan which is fine and has what we all need. We were told by Johan that we would receive the phone credit's, $800.00 in pre-paid cards and the gov't discount after the first month. It was now becoming late and Johan said he had to leave. He asked an associate to help completing transferring the data on the last 2 phones while he left. (The salesman later told us Johan was suppose to stay and finish with his customers until everything is complete). We left and the next day we received a text message and screen shot from Johan stating that he did not complete the rebate forms and the gov't discount form and asked us to do it online. After calling Verizon and completing what he should have done I thought everything is fine and just wait for our rebate to come. Later at the end of the month I received an email showing that we were not eligible for the $800.00 rebates. I called Verizon directly who also stated we would not receive the rebates or the credit's from our trade-ins either since we were not on the right plan. I went into the Chino store and asked to speak to who was in charge and a man there said they do not have a manager. I asked to have the Regional Manager call me. I never heard from the Regional Manager then or since. My Wife called Johan who stated that the plan we chose was not eligible and it was our fault. Not his. He now denied ever telling us that the plan we chose would receive the phone credits and rebates. But I explained we had the texts and screen shot that he sent me. Johan then stated he would speak to the senior person at the store and find out. After waiting a week we never heard back from Johan. We called later Johan who responded in a rude and disrespectful text. I called the store and Johan answered. I asked to speak to who is in charge and he put me on hold. I waited an hour on the phone until I called on another phone to Cellular Sales in Chino and a woman answered. She stated Ben was the person in charge. After speaking with Ben he agreed that we were owed an apology along with the credits and rebates. We asked for his number and waited. A week later we never heard back from Ben. I called Verizon who after hearing what had happened agreed that to have our phone credit and trade-in rebates reinstated. The Verizon customer service agreed we were lied to. I also called Cellular Sales Customer Service in Knoxville, TN and spoke with Rachel to escalate the situation. After several phone calls and two months later our claim was resolved with Cellular Sales. They also agreed with us. We spent a lot of money and were treated badly by unskilled and untrained staff that do not care. Overall it was a horrible experience and I do not recommend Cellular Sales in Chino, Ca. read more

I am a father with kids, so when I go into a store I generally try to have a plan to minimize the boredom with my boys and keep everyone involved happy. So when it comes to phones, that plan has always been "I will take the latest version of the phone I have had for 8 years." But this time, Matt asked if I could spare a bit more time to answer a few questions. He offered to help keep my kids entertained, though they did just fine, because he thought it was important for me to get a phone that I really liked rather than one I am used to. He was absolutely right. Matt was extremely insightful as to my situation. He said, "you are a dad who pours into your kids but not necessarily yourself. I honestly believe you can spend a lot less on a phone that you will love so much more." It was the opposite of an UPSELL. I was impressed and played along. He asked a few clarifying questions and really listened to the answers. And sure enough, in the end, I have a phone I LOVE. For the first time, I bought my phone because it was right for ME and not just because it fit into the time window I was willing to give. Everyone I dealt with in the store was superb, but Matt got stuck doing the "heavy lifting." He cares about doing what is right and not just about making money. I have not always had great Verizon customer service experiences in the past, but this store saved my account a few months ago. And last week, they proved again why they are the best around. I will not go anywhere else as long as I am with Verizon. If you want just another phone, I suppose you could go anywhere. But at least here, you know they are good people. BUT, if you want to try something new and get a phone that might be more personal, more matched to who you are and what you need...there is no other store. Thank you gentlemen. First of all I want to say I had been a Verizon customer for ALONG time. I had been trying to get Verizon to offer the 55+ plan. To make a long story short I went with another company as they could offer this plan. We had problems with this other company from the beginning. Had service for 3 days and ended up going back to Verizon. Came to this store to get our info transferred back so we could keep the same numbers. I was helped by Johan. He was very nice and helped me right off the bat with no problems. We wanted the Iphone 12 and they had a better promotion than Verizon Corporate did. They didn't have the iphone I wanted so Johan ordered it. Anyways, Johan and Akshay were very helpful. Any questions I had they answered. I would definitely go back to this store. They are an authorized dealer and not a corporate Verizon but there isn't really that much of a difference. You should always ask questions regardless of which Verizon you go to when you are making any kind of purchase. read more
