Where to start. Went in to find out about my plan change and get my new iPhone 15 to be activated. Jonathan was my "service" tech. He began with being sloppy and unkept, eyes barely open clearly not wanting to help since he figured it was just an activation and service interaction. I was trying to find out more details about the new plan and perks I was going to be losing and gaining. He was frustrated and demanded that I say grovel to him and say please or he would refuse to help activate my phone. I was very uncomfortable with that attitude and I asked for a manager to take over the interaction. A woman came over and as she came over, J walked to the side, staring me down and told me he would take me outside if he wanted, which I took as a threat. He did this in clear earshot of the manager, who stood there and did nothing to protect me. She asked him to go to the back, and he said no clearly defying what she thought was her authority. After he continued to berate and mock me In front of all the other customers, I asked her if she was gonna allow him to do this to me. She then insisted that he moved to the back, which he then did. L then took over the transaction. He seemed to be very knowledgeable and he convinced me to change my account yet again and give me an iPhone 16 while returning the iPhone 15 and trading in my iPhone 13. I was forced to pay a $50 restocking fee for a phone that I had for one day and he then told me he was going to clear out my iPhone 13 to factory settings, which I believed he was going to do. Later I left and found out my entire account had been altered ending with nine phone lines and three watches. It was also informed that the iPhone 13 was never logged in as a trade-in and was now missing. I went back to the store to find out where the iPhone 13 was and they had no idea and tried to convince me that it was sent to the warehouse when I was already told the warehouse had no knowledge of it and the computer system never had it even logged in while it had the iPhone 15 logged in the day of the trade. I began asking for the district manager who they told me was very busy with some personal issues and I should be human and not continue to bother him. I then asked to speak to the person that's taking over his duties since he's unable to perform them with his personal issues for employees J, L, the store manager and another woman began screaming yelling and attacking me to the point, Louis threw his iPad to the ground, Saying he was "going to F me up" and had to be held back by another employee. The security guard who originally was looking at me because he thought I was the instigator turned and went to stop the employees from attacking me. I was chased out of the store threatened physically, and also told they were gonna mess with my account deliberately. There's no excuse for the way I was treated taking advantage of manipulated threatened, physically attacked gaslighted, making me think that they phone was turned in blatantly lying and refusing to direct me to a supervisor. I am making the corporate report and possibly a police report because of the physical and financial threats made to me. I'm so lucky I brought a friend with me so not only witness it but to protect me against 4+ employees this store needs to be investigated. All of these employees need to be let go now I will say, please, please Verizon for your future, Do not let these individuals represent the great historic company that you are, which I have been with for over 20 years beginning with my mother's account when I was 16 and on my own account for the past 10 years so loyal that I get what's called a loyalty discount. I cannot with good conscience ever recommend this store or Verizon at this point until something has been done about this Team of employees that terrorized a customer like myself. Nobody deserves to go through the mental torment that this crew put on me. My therapist is gonna have a lot of work to fix this damage done by These terrible humans who are heartless in my opinion. HORRIBLE, INCOMPETENT, and RUDE EMPLOYEES. I never write reviews, but my experience was so awful and unacceptable here, I felt almost compelled to tell others to STAY AWAY from this store AND, if any educated Verizon manager is reviewing these complaints, FIRE THE EMPLOYEES IN QUESTION. Here is my awful experience: Went to this location to get set up for an IPhone Battery switch out since mine was dying. The 'manager' Ricardo told me he could ABSOLUTELY help me and spent 20 minutes setting up an appointment for me to get the battery switch. He even gave me a work order with all the trimmings. He told me to go to 'UBreakIfix' off Venice Blvd and gave me 'everything I needed'. I had a walk-in appointment from 2pm-5pm set up, repair vendor order number (5698547) set up, I had everything! AND he told me everything would be free. But surprise surprise, when I get there, the work order was a BIG STUPID LIE written up by a manger who obviously had no idea what he was doing. UBreakiFix told me they couldn't switch out my battery because there was a small crack in my screen glass. The incompetent manager at this Verizon, Ricardo, had my phone IN HIS HAND staring at it for at least 8 minutes uninterrupted since only 2 customers were allowed in this store at a time due to COVID and even NOTED the crack and still gave me the work order like a 'noob' hire employee. He didn't say ANYTHING about uBreakIFix being unable to switch out batteries. He didn't say ANYTHING about how a small insignificant crack on the screen could prevent this. Nothing AT ALL and he's supposedly 'the manager'??? How are Verizon customers supposed to get true, accurate service if the people on top of the totem pole are as stupid and lazy as the new hire employees on the bottom? Absolute FAILURE in manager and employee training. I GO BACK TO THIS STORE to figure out what went wrong and was greeted by another sweaty sloth of an employee named Nery, who was so incredibly rude, my jaw dropped behind my mask. I start showing her the work order I was given, which she wouldn't even look at, and try to explain the run-around I was getting. I told her how frustrating it was to deal with a MANAGER of a Verizon store too stupid to know how to take care of a simple battery switch process for a Verizon customer. All Nery heard.....was the word 'stupid' and she said, '...if you're going to call our employees stupid, I'm not helping you'. She refused to help me, and refused to let me in the store! As a final insult, she scribbled a telephone number on a crumpled posty-note and told me to 'do it myself'. Are you KIDDING ME?!?!? My family and I have been loyal members of Verizon for almost 17 years and have paid THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS and THIS is how we're treated? With scorn and derision, stupidity and laziness, and a complete lacking to help customers WHEN THEY ARE BEING PAID A SALARY TO HELP CUSTOMERS. All I needed was a simple IPhone battery switch, and all I got was incompetence at the highest level in the store and rude, unhelpful employees. I recently had a super frustrating experience at this Verizon store. I went there to buy an iPhone, and the salesperson seemed nice enough. She told me I'd get a free iPad with my iPhone purchase and that I'd only have to pay the tax for the iPad. Well, it turned out that the iPad wasn't really free. When I called Verizon's customer service later for a different issue, I found out that the salesperson had sneakily added an extra line for the iPad without telling me. Now I'm stuck with an extra monthly charge I never agreed to. And that's not all - she also added insurance to my phone without asking me. Feeling cheated, I went back to the store to return the iPad and sort everything out. But guess what? The two managers I spoke to were totally rude and basically called me a liar. Instead of handling the situation professionally, they just made me feel worse. To make matters even more frustrating, they told me I'd have to pay a $50 restocking fee for returning the iPad. So not only did I have to deal with the hassle of going back to the store, but I also ended up paying more than I expected. Long story short, my experience with Verizon was a disaster. I went in expecting friendly service and a good deal, but instead, I got tricked with hidden charges, extra services, and some seriously rude managers. I walked in looking to switched form AT&T to Verizon. I thought that the whole process would take 10-15 min with the longest part being me trying to decide which new case I wanted for my phone. No such luck! They ran my credit & ran into issues. Their system kept coming up with a mismatch which didn't make any sense to me since my credit's been run for a lease, a rental, utilities & a few other things recently without any troubles. The rep that I was working with made a good number of calls before telling me that I might have to wait a day from the system to process any changes. She followed up with me the following day letting me know that she'd checked the system & everything looked good. I went back into the store & ta-da! It was all good. I didn't expect that a store rep would spend a day working with one customer to make sure that they got exactly what they were hoping for. Thank you! read more

I had a great experience getting new phones in December 2021. My husband and I were taken care of by Preston and Beth while in the store and they were very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They made the transition very easy and explained everything to us about our new plan. Once the phones arrived I spoke with Christian over the phone and he walked me through the steps I needed to help get things switched over in a no hassle way. The absolute worst customer service EVER!!! They say they are giving you free phones and credits but good luck trying to get them.. If you don't mind being on hold monthly with a rep who cannot do anything except make you promises... and then not keep them.. SIGN UP.
