I was assisted by Sean today and it was incredible customer service. He was the only one on staff and managed to assist 3 different customers with three different situations simultaneously. My mom went in the store last week to trade in her old phone for her new phone and b/c she doesn't speak english they took advantage of her and signed up for insurance contract without her consent for almost $20/month. Saved the day! I went to three different phone stores in the area before coming to this one and it was a breath of fresh air in comparison! Alex helped me with a smile and met my every need. He found all of the obscure phone parts my father wanted for his phone. Overall Great customer service! Marlon was extremely patient and friendly. He went in-depth about all the features of different phones and their benefits. He's knowledgable and he explains things in a way to make it easier to understand. I wanted to upgrade my Pixel to a Pixel 2. He went out of his way to pick up a Pixel 2 at another location so that I didn't have to wait for it to get shipped to me. Great customer service. September 30th I was at Glendale Hospital and it hit me that I hadn't paid my cellphone bill. Not familiar with the neighborhood I goggled the nearest open Verizon store. It was near closing but I headed to the store and arrived in the nick ot time to pay my bill. I didn't have a debit nor credit card and I was told that they just finished their closings. I only had cash and after I explained my situation the manager reopen the register for me to make my payment. Those young men had the natural ability to understand and feel what I was experiencing, and was able to meet my needs effectively. I'm a senior citizen who loves good customer service. We went this Verizon location on August 1st of 2021 trying to get a new phone, the y said that they didn't have the phone in stock and they will have it transferred to this location on Wednesday August 4th. We called on Wednesday and they said there was no order being place for a transfer. So we placed an order with the person over the phone and he said the phone would be there on Friday. We never received a call back so we called back on Sunday we were put on hold for over 20 minutes for the guy to check to see if they received a shipment. After over 20 minutes of holding we hung up and called back. Then the guy said he forgot about us being on hold and that they don't have our phone. We told the guy to cancel the order since they failed us 3 times on different levels and he sarcastically responded "that's fine". read more

DON'T GO HERE! Save yourself the trouble. I've been a loyal Verizon customer for over 10 years, and I've shopped in stores across the county-both corporate and franchise partner stores. After happily waiting 15-20 minutes to purchase my new glass protector. I was treated so poorly and with such disrespect that I walked out. First off the guy was trying to help me while working on another ladies transfer or something. Second he said our main number wasn't in "the system." Turns out it was their stores system and not Verizon's. When I informed the "customer service" guy that I had a corporate discount and I'd like him to look it up, he asks me what company. So I tell him. He can't find it and belittles me. I tell this guy, "why don't you look up my account with Verizon?" And he spottily ask me for the social security and password for my account. What a CROCK! I've never been asked to reveal a SSI# in a Verizon store in front of other customers. And I won't! Back to the corporate store for me. read more

This is a long story, but please read it through to the end. Last July, we went to get new phones. We are iPhone people, but the salesman at this store, Ryan, told us that the iPhones aren't good and, instead, get the Note8's. Plus, there was a deal, buy one, get the second at $700 off. We said we'd try it, knowing that we'd have two weeks to return if we didn't like them. So we tried them, and promptly returned them a week later. We preferred the iPhone X instead. So, after a lot of back and forth, they accepted the returns and both Ryan, and the store manager, Mike, said that they could do some fancy paperwork and give us the $700 promotional credit towards the replacement iPhones. We were thrilled to hear that. So after a lot of confusing paperwork, we received the iPhone X's and left. When we received our first bill, it was super high but we knew we'd get some rebates, etc. Two months later, we received an email from Verizon saying that the $700 promotional rebate would be removed from our bill because it was only for the Note8's and not the iPhones. Of course, this is not what was told us by Mike and Ryan. So, I went to the store and told Mike the situation. He hemmed and hawed, knowing that what they tried to do to keep the sale had not worked. Now, I'm stuck paying that extra $700. I kept going to Verizon and they said they would work on it, but after six long chats online, they said it was the store that did this, not us. So Verizon won't honor the credit, which I get. But the store should never had told us that they could honor the credit on the iPhones. They did that just so as to not lose the sale. I know another family that has had a similar issue with this store. You'll know it as soon as you walk in. They will try and sell you something you don't want, and then add on all these crazy extra fees. That's par for the course in places like these. They are never fun experiences. But if a manager says, "I can give you the credit on this other phone" and then it doesn't happen and they deny ever doing it, you feel cheated. We are longtime Verizon customers and this really hurts. We will go with another carrier. Please, please, please....I beg of you, never visit this store. It is a place that is designed to take your money and not give you what you want. So sorry to write this, because I want to have good experiences when I spend my hard earned money. DO NOT, Again, DO NOT come here! Worst experience ever! My roommate and I came this weekend to get iPhones for the "Black Friday" special and oh man, they sold us a nice-affordable plan that turned out to be a nightmare. Two days later I get an email with my "next bill" breakdown from Verizon. There were extra charges that we didn't approved and were in our contract. One of the sales person, Sal, insisted on me getting the insurance which it supposed to be $13 a month. After some thinking I denied the offer and continued with the plan. Once he printed out my contract I noticed he had misspelled my last name (not a big deal right?)... but it matters when you asked more than once to fix it and he still doesn't fix it. (last name still misspelled)** rolling eyes*** I asked him to give me a breakdown of the taxes and fees for each phone. I know how to do math and he thought he was going to fool me, but he couldn't do it when I got the numbers right. So, before signing up, we were 100% sure of the amount that we each had to pay monthly, because we spent solid 3hrs in the store asking all the questions before selling our souls to the devil. Today, Tuesday... my roommate called Verizon customer service and they were able to help us out. They Removed all the extra charges and fees we didn't agree on the first place (over $100 extra, including $30 for activation and additional $20 for transferring to Verizon)... I am a Verizon user since 2003... it made no sense! So, that's all for their stupid commission. We were about to cancel the plan, but the lady from customer service gave us what we once agreed on paying. This is a ridiculous store! The manager, Mike, isn't helpful neither... he let 2 inept sales rep to laugh on our faces for some extra cash... so tacky! Never dealing with them ever again! read more

This is the worst Verizon store! Avoid going to this place AT ALL COST! I went to this location exactly on August 15 to switch my phone to the iPhone 13. The store manager Noelle told me that I could trade in my old phone (iPhone 10 plus) and get the new iPhone for a cheaper cost. He also promised me that my phone bill was going to be much lower (30$ lower) by switching to the newer 5G plan. I asked him if he was 100% sure that my bill would be reduced because I didn't want to change my phone plan and switch my phone if my bill was going to be higher. The first time my bill came out to be $300 and the second time it was much higher than my bill. After confronting Noelle again about my bill, he plainly just said it was a miscommunication and acted in a very rude manner and did not even try to solve the issue! Now I'm stuck with having to pay more than I was before because of Noelle's miscommunication and false information! read more

Screw this place! All the employees are miserable jerks! My mom and I literally stood there for over 20 minutes as they walked around us helping other customers, not once NOT ONCE acknowledged our presence or said I'll be right with you or attempted to help us NOTHING! After almost half an hour my mom and I just flipped out and threw the stupid charger that we were attempting to buy that would've taken 30 seconds and started to tell them that they have not even acKnowledged our presence there! I am blasting out this raving review for the phenomenal cell phone support I received while (upgrading) from store manager, Anthony Uribe at the Verizon Retailer, 2655 Foothill Blvd., La Crescenta, CA!!! This dude is masterful!!! In just two days, he ordered and got my old data onto a new S9! Pics, videos, emails, new entry codes, all programs.... Done! Anthony knows!! In doing all of this, Anthony was courteous, patient, and quick. Now my tech IQ cannot be more than 10. I only know how to use my phone not troubleshoot on my phone. Even so, Anthony was there "holding my hand" through the purchase and install. Conscious of others waiting in the store, he addressed and served them while my phone was installing. Never once were there signs of drag or bother as her multitasked. Clearly, he is not paid enough. Anthony worked with me well past closing time. I just wanted my new phone complete and all functions working before I left the store and he made that happen. Typically, I put off doing reviews because time is just too limited. In my 18 years with Verizon, this is hands down the best store experience I've ever had. The store manager Mike cut his lunch short to help this angry customer, me, because I was charged $299 damaged device fee for returning a malfunctioning note 5 with a cracked screen. I was not asked if my phone had a cracked screen nor told that that would void the warranty. I've tried calling on my own and Verizon would not credit any more than $100 for what is clearly their mistake. Long story very very short, Mike heard me story and he talk to Verizon on my behalf for over an hour. During the whole time he was very courteous, professional and did all he can do to get the charges off my back. And like magic, he was able to get the second representative to credit back the remaining penalty fee for me!!! Mike pretty much skipped his lunch to help me out and I am so thankful that he did all he can do for me. I hope his efforts and dedications are noticed by his superiors. I went and got him rainbow colors of Redbull and some snacks to show my appreciation. Come on corporate! Wow, I am appalled at how dishonest this store is. I switched from AT&T to Verizon through Costco and I wanted to add a line so I came to this store. First off all, I tried to use one of my old AT&T phones for the new line. While this is usually not possible because the networks are often times not compatible, one of the employees made up a story about how 4gLTE works and how my phone doesn't have that capability. Well the HTC M7 is 4gLTE capable, and Verizon used to sell it. There was no reason to lie, if he had just told me it was incompatible with the network I would have accepted it and moved on. Making up stories because you think your customers don't know any better is unethical and just disrespectful. Also, he didn't mention the promotional line cost of $15 per month and tried to charge me the full $40 per month. Next, I tried to buy a new phone for my second line and the manager came out and told me it would cost $10.59 per month on the edge plan. On the Verizon website, it explicitly says the Samsung core prime is $7 per month. Then, he proceeded to try and sell me $11 per month insurance on a $168 phone. I pointed out that I would end up paying more than the phone was worth in 15 months but he kept saying it was worth it and he would do it if he were in my shoes. Finally, I just went back to Costco and got everything done at the advertised cost of &7 per month for the phone and the promotional $15 per line. Avoid this store if you can. If you can't, please do your research because they will surely try to take advantage of you. read more
