Verizon Fios is the worst service for Internet and cable of all time. I've used many providers before and was lured by Verizon Fios sign on deals. After the deal was over I've been gouged with high rates. Every time they raised my rates I've had call them to discuss. To call them is about as fun as ripping your eyes out. The service is horrible. You have to go through many steps to talk to someone then they hang up on you or send you to someone else if they can't help you, which is always and then you have to re-explain everything all over again. They'll offer you a discount that is nowhere near your original agreed price then say you'll have to sign a two year contract to get that agreed price that will only last 6 months. Meanwhile you're locked into that 2 year contract where they can gouge you for early release penalties and continue to raise their rates as they always do. I seriously urge EVERYONE NEVER USE VERIZON FIOS!!! They're thieves, liars, and cheats!!! And their service sucks so bad. The disruptions are endless, the cutting on and out. I've been stuck with old poor equipment that wouldn't record anything and when I called them they treated me like it was my fault every single time. The internet cuts out constantly. The worst. I can't stress it enough! Everything about Verizon Fios is the worst, form the service they provide, the higher gouging rates, and their employees who obviously do not care to be there. I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the service I received during a recent visit to your Verizon store. Last month, our phone service was unexpectedly disconnected due to an issue with Verizon's auto-pay system. Upon contacting customer service, we were informed that Verizon was experiencing a system-wide issue affecting certain accounts, and we were assured that this problem would be resolved. As a gesture of goodwill, we were offered a one-time monthly payment credit to compensate for the inconvenience. However, when we visited the store today to follow up on the issue and inquire whether the problem had been fixed, we were met with an appalling lack of professionalism. The representative who assisted us, Matt, was dismissive and unhelpful. He failed to even look into his handheld device to verify the issue and offered no alternative solutions. Instead, he rudely directed us to call the 1-800 number, stating that the store "only handles SALES, not customer service issues." His response was not only unprofessional but also insulting. As a former manager at Nordstrom, I understand the importance of providing good customer service and creating a positive customer experience. Matt's attitude and refusal to assist us were completely unacceptable and reflect poorly on Verizon as a company. I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss this matter further with a district manager to ensure that this issue is addressed appropriately and that no other customers experience such poor service. By far the worst customer service experience in my 17 years of being a customer of Verizon. The associate who was assigned to "help" us was rude and extremely unhelpful. We left the store, deciding that we are going to switch providers. Unfortunately, she was training a new employee and maybe was upset about that however she took it out on me and my daughter. Apparently we were beneath her help. We went to exchange my phone because I thought I had broken the glass over the camera lenses. As it turned out , I had a cover which I did not realize was protecting the glass. Instead of explaining this, she tried briefly to remove the protective glass and then tossed it on the counter, saying I'm not doing this. Then when we shared with her our difficulties in getting reception all over Long Beach as we have a Mobile business. She told us that we needed to upgrade our "plan" because it was old and didn't provide the necessary "5G" coverage required. Luckily, my daughter is very tech savvy and knew that this was incorrect information. We ended up leaving the store in complete and total frustration very disappointed in Verizon to whom I have been a loyal customer for many many years. read more

My netbook failed to connect to your network and caused a major disruption in my workday. After almost an hour on the phone with tech support they determined that the modem was bad in the device and put me through to Compaq/HP to arrange repair/replacement under my Verizon Extended Warranty. Things went downhill fast from there. The Verizon tech person should have stayed on the line to explain to the Compaq/HP person all the troubleshooting "stuff" we just went through. I found myself speaking with a person who I could barely understand his english who wanted to go through all that "stuff" again!! My frustration level was maxed and my blood pressure was peaking so I gave up. I went into the Long Beach, CA store and asked for a Manager. Ian Taylor helped me. He offered to work on it and call me with results later. IT TOOK HIM HOURS BUT HE EVENTUALLY GOT THE PROBLEM FIXED. HE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO HELP ME! HIS ACTIONS ARE A MODEL OF EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. HE SAVED THE DAY FOR ME!!! read more

My husband and I wanted to purchase new iPads, we don't like doing the online thing since our pads are old, it's more efficient and easier for us to go to the store. We went to the store only to be told there was nothing they could do for us we would have to do it online, I went online and i had questions and try the chat function, i was waiting for over 30 minutes and got no assistance. I understand the world with corona virus a i am an RN, there are ways to assistance customers while adhering to the CDC recommendations, my question to verizon is if there is no in store customer service then why pay all those people i saw in the store to tell people there is nothing they can do. When i was at verizon i saw at least 4 people turned away in less than 5 minutes. Close the stores and put a note on the door or post it on the website. Guess i will wait for the apple store to open and schedule an appointment. Very disappointed in the Verizon and the customer service. read more

My husband and I have been Verizon Customers a long time and haven't really had problems with our phones until now! My husband needed to upgrade his Droid to an iPhone and I accidentally dropped my Droid in a hotel Jacuzzi. So we took our three children with us on a Sunday afternoon and met Monique Page! She was Awesome!! Monique made sure that what we were doing was cost effective and worked with us on our plans. My kids had the best time with one of the computer games while they waited and Monique had a great sense of humor that my kids thought she was the "Nicest Sales Lady" they had ever met (that says a lot since my husband and I are in the Customer Service and Sales industry)! So the next time you need to upgrade or purchase a phone, go into the Verizon store off Bellflower and ask for Monique Page! She's knowledgeable and one of the Nicest Sales Reps we have met at any Verizon store! read more

I hope Verizon really takes this matter seriously. My spouse called the financial department yesterday, and they provided us with new information we were unaware of. The financial representative informed him that the reason we continue to receive those additional bills is due to a breach of trust because, allegedly, we abandoned our plan to switch to AT&T before the month we signed up for Verizon service! How absurd is that? We have never experienced this! Karen, this woman, messed and fooled about with our lines so much! I'm through! This is simply amazing! Who she is to be able to act whichever she pleases in order to close a deal! We will investigate this all the way because she's acting under clients behave without letting them know! My faith in Verizon has been restored by one great sale rep. Thank you Michael Horton! Hands down Michael provided the best customer service I have ever had from Verizon. He answered every question I asked, and most importantly transferred my text messages to my new phone. (Something I was told was not possible by a sales representative just last week in the same store who told me several times there is no way to transfer text messages) Guess what there is, in fact there are several ways to backup text messages, even one that is a Verizon service. So I am over the moon pleased that Michael was able to backup my text messages, change out my phone and show my how to set up the Verizon Cloud service so I never have to worry about backing up my texts again. read more

I always seem to have good communication and service from employees at the Verizon Long Beach (Los Altos Location) from Gilbert to Zack to Francis everyone is most knowledgeable and friendly. I have attended the store sponsored education classes for using your device and they have been most helpful. I recently recommended the store and classes to a dear friend of mine and she seems to have learned and enjoyed the professional approach to helping her get familiar with her new smart phone. At this point in time I can only appreciate and recommend the store and service to anyone considering purchasing and wanting to get familiar with the latest technology in communications through Verizon...... Victor just saved my life...and quickly! Only took 20 minutes, including the wait time. Personally, I think the store is more organized during Covid than ever before. I got in line on a Monday morning at about 10:20 am (just after opening)...there were 4 people in front of me. Someone came out and took our names. Shortly afterward, others came out and helped each of us in the order we were in line. None of us went in. Personnel took items into the store as needed. This store is a Company store and they are trained the SAME as an independant franchise to JACK UP your bill by selling you anything on PAYMENTS. Their policy is to sell you more than full retail price by making payments arrangements you didn't ask for. It's called PRICE GOUGING. May not be illegal but certainly UNethical. BEWARE!
