If you want good customer service-----SKIP THIS STORE. New to Verizon, getting promotions, or want someone to explain something, skip this store. They rotate the employees like 3 day old bread so you can never get the same person. No employee actually takes pride in helping or explaining anything......... Don't even try to go in and talk to a manger or on a Sunday cause they are never there - apparently they are the only ones that can do ANYTHING 'cause hitting a computer button is so hard. I purchase two items that came with rebates, one for $50 and one for $650. WAITING WAITING AND WAITING for them to come in the mail. OOOOPPS someone forgot to tell me that I needed to scale the Grand Canyon to make this happen. THE CS REP TOLD ME IT WILL BE IN THE MAIL.....Finally called Verizon customer service and told them the story and lodging a complaint. I made the mistake of not checking yelp before I came into this store. A few months ago my phone died, so i was desperate to get it replaced. The Verizon store on Rosecrans was not open yet, so I came here. After 2 hrs, where they kept messing up the activation of my phone, I ran out of there in a hurry to my next destination. During the process, the sales associate Harold told me I had a credit to spend as a promotion to get free stuff. So i got a case and a screen protector. He told me I still had money left, so I got a popsocket. I made the mistake of not checking my invoice since i only paid $5 for supposedly tax. Today, I needed to look back on the invoice and realized, they charged me for all of those things! My invoice was so low because of my trade-in credit that was applied. Totally shady place. 2/14/14; Just to add a note; The guy at this store called my wife's phone today on Valentines day at 9am and 5pm. We were busy enjoying a Valentines day breakfast on the first call and didn't answer, but did answer the 2nd call just prior to dinner. He called to complain about me writing the truth here in Yelp about my experience at their business. When I returned the phone 2 days ago, I told them that when I left their business I would post my experience on Yelp one way or the other (good or bad), so I hoped it would be a good one. It seems odd to me that they did not respond here (rebutt) on Yelp (maybe because they're indefensible), but instead, called to try to get me to retract the facts from Yelp!! Sorry 4G, the truth is the truth, it is what it is. So in addition to their wasting my time, and to add to not returning all my money AND trying to rip me off for $40/month for 2 years for an additonal phone line that I didn't need, NOW they're harrassing us on our personal phone about writing the truth and warning others!!! My response to his call was simple; that I posted the truth (a concept maybe they're not familiar with) then I hung up. I hope for their sake they don't call again, AND BE WARNED HERE, 4G; if you do, I will immediately file a complaint with the better business bureau, the city of Manhattan beach, the Verizon company and FCC for starters because I tried to remain civil in spite of feeling pissed off about being lied to and you trying to rip me off for the third line you said I needed to get a new phone! Came to the store because my Droid wouldn't turn on. I thought it would be an easy fix but it turned out, the phone was "Fried". When I heard that, I didn't plan to get a new phone until a few weeks but thanks to the helpful employees that are willing to work with people, I was able to get a brand new phone within a few days. If you want to pay cash, they charge you an extra $3 - I don't trust these people with my credit card. My wife's phone went blank as we were running in Manhattan Beach. We stopped by this store as it was closest and open on Sunday. Having less-than-stellar experiences at some other Verizon locations, I didn't expect much. I was pleasantly surprised. They told us her phone was still under warranty and gave a number to call so the manufacturer could ship her a replacement. While he was taking caring of my wife's phone, the employer (sorry, don't remember his name) asked what happened to my phone. I admitted that I've dropped it on top of some weights and cracked the screen. I said I was waiting until after the New Years to deal with it and that I had insurance. He too a look at the phone and told me that I didn't, in fact, crack the screen... only the glass protector. I didn't believe him, because the screen appeared to be cracked and had a hole in it (as a hollow hole in the middle)! Anyway, he carefully removed the glass protector (which shattered into pieces at that point) and showed a completely unscathed phone underneath. I was so happy! He sold me a new screen protector at a discounted price, installed it and that was it. The moral of the story, kids, is: a) get a real glass screen protector; it saves lives (at least your phone's life); b) employees are nice at this location... frequent it and cherish, because it's not the case for all Verizon stores. DO NOT buy a phone here. They sell them for more than retail value. You're better off buying online and then activating yourself. They also trick you into buying other things and they cannot explain what the costs mean. I sat there for an hour with the manager asking for him to break out the costs for me and he couldn't and the story kept changing. The staff here are a extremely knowledgeable, and friendly. Their customer service is by far the best I have experienced at any wireless carrier store. The first time I came in for my upgrade I was helped by Elvis. Their server was having issues so he was unable to log into my account. This was something that Verizon direct customer service could not fix. I waited a few days and came back. Harold helped process my upgrade the second time. As everyone knows, phone upgrades are a slow and unexciting process. Not only did Harold help save me money on my monthly bill, he was a genuine human being and made the experience very enjoyable. After I finished the upgrade, I came back 3 days later to buy a case and tempered glass. Elvis and Steve helped me. Yet again, my experience was five star. They were both knowledgeable, helpful, and really great to work with. I would highly recommend this Victra storefront, and will not use any other business so long as I live in the area. Poor Customer Service and charged us "secret" $30 fees. They told us it was an activation fee, but it was really their connivence fee and then we were charged another fee by Verizon on our bill. Went to the store to dispute the charge, but were treated horribly by the two employees at the store. After going to a corporate Verizon store and threatening to switch to AT&T we got $30 bucks from Corporate Verizon. Moral of the story, don't go to this place, buy online or go to the Corporate Verizon store on Rosecrans. read more

I had a really bad experience with this store. Bought an iPhone, a rep named Harold helped me. He charged me twice for the order because he didn't complete the transaction the first time. When asked when I would receive the refund, he asked me to call the bank and dispute for a mistake he made and admitted. After talking to the bank, I came back as the store has to process the refund and the manager wasn't present and wouldn't be here for couple of days. As others mentioned, the salespeople employ shady and aggressive sales tactics to get you to pay well above the usual costs to set up a phone. We went to this Verizon Store to tranfer a 4 lines from other wireless provider, after decide with phones we want with is a not easy job since they have a lot of choices. The manager sent Noe to help us out, we had a very great experience with him. If you need someone to give all attention a loyalty customer need, this is the right person. Unfortunately, the Verizon system (computer system) its to complicate to help associates in to provide a fast servce. We spend almost 2hrs to setting up a account, that require a lot papers print out to sign for it line, than scanner and upload to a Verizon system one by one. Unfortunatly after all the time we put in, and having a bad signal reception where we leave and had to make some calls to costumer service to try to fix the problem, after 2 days we received a call from Technical support Department where they came to conclusion we leave in a "margin" area (black spot) and the best to us to do in this case is return all phones and get the money back. I went back on next day and once again Noe help us but this time to retur the devices was a little faster LOL. In general we had a good customer and technical support service experience. Fabian was very helpful and friendly. He helped my family and I up for the best package based on our actual usage, not on what they are being pushed to sell. He found a plan that was able to allow us to upgrade my daughter's phone while still staying at our budgeted monthly payments, based on history of our data plan usage. He explained everything in detail, numerous times so everything was clear and upfront. He wanted me to feel comfortable in what I was committing to as far as changing plans. I have quite the story to tell about this store if you want to grab a bag of popcorn and take a seat...... It started when I walked in the first time and had my sights set on getting the new iphone. I was sure this is the phone I wanted because every droid I had up until this point was a total piece of shit. SOMEHOW, the african american lady that was helping me out convinced me into going with an LG Revolution 4glte phone which ended up being the biggest mistake of my life. I wasted my upgrade on the worst phone ever made.....a year passes..... I walk into the same store, found out she wasn't working there anymore (go figure...) and got help from the manager, "Noe", and he helped me get a new phone (instead of fixing the LG phone) which I love, BUT at the expense of wasting HOURS of my time in store....there were so many complications in the way he was trying to help me out, so many loopholes he was trying to make to help me out and I really appreciated his efforts.....however my bill came in and all hell broke loose....Noe promised the bill to be X-amount while it was really a larger amount....I had to go sit in their store again and confront him with the bill...i had to sit there and wait for 45 minutes just to get his help finally, then waited another hour so he fixed what was wrong...... He's a great manager, great dude, but holy shit, what a waste of fucking time....and my time is very valuable to me....if my story can save someone out there HOURS UPON HOURS of their time and headaches.....then my job here is done..... my advice: go to a regular verizon store, not a retailer of any kind. do it right the first time, and don't let idiot's stray you from what you KNOW you want haha. read more
