But when I told him I was gonna come back to the person that first assisted me named Julian he now mentioned that I Maybe still be entitled to get the offer . I have been to this Verizon store in the mall 3 times now and I can't say enough good things. Every person who has helped me has been knowledgeable, gracious and genuinely NICE. That's not been my experience at the Puente Hills store. I had to come here just before Christmas to have a set up and transfer done on a warranty replacement phone. If you've ever had to do this you know its tedious and takes a long time. John helped me and was absolutely wonderful, it was like dealing with an old friend. Enrique was amazing! We were not the easiest customers to deal with, but he handled it so professionally with kindness and compassion. I was surprised to hear that he was not the manager because of his etiquette and knowledge. We had issues with customer service and he was able to clear them up very quickly. He took his time to make sure everything was correct and because of his knowledge we were able to figure everything out with ease. This is a corporate store in a big mall. We have only come here a few times for screen protector replacement, never for other services. Other Yelpers are correct that Kevin who works here offers excellent service and the other current employees are worthless. Many of the employees who worked here in the past were helpful and friendly. Not so any more. There were numerous employees in the store on our visit all milling around, talking, and playing with their devices and not helping other customers and only Kevin came up to us promptly and offered us excellent service. This store is in a big mall on the second floor. It is a busy mall with a big lot, so you may need to park far away and walk. The store moved locations in the mall in about the last 6-9 months, so if you have not been here for a while, then check the mall map to find the current location on the second floor. 12/26/24 Verizon call center asked me to show ID and pick up at a direct store, so I drove there. Instead provide service, the store manager John judged me not to walk in his store showroom (I only move between adjacent chair) with john's reason his employees are working. The employee cannot restrict a customer walk in the store showroom. Customer come to store for service and not for judgment of employee, which is a basic customer service violation. The store directly confront call center advice of going to a store. Customer can ask employees if have question when the store failure to provide call center promised service. Verizon internal issue with the store poor performance. The Verizon store's violation of the basic customer service has negative impact on the call center resolution by missing the (same) representative communication to me verizon record of 12/19/24 about 3 PM to 4 PM, (12/23/24, and 12/26/24), which are still on my iPhone call list. read more

Consumer beware! Last year I had a door-to-door Salesman come to my place to sign me up for their wireless internet. I went ahead and went with Verizon because they were offering me a better deal than my current internet provider. To make a long story short, I went ahead and canceled my services with Verizon and went back with my current provider. The issue started when I tried to send back the equipment. According to Verizon , the only way I could send back the equipment is through a kit that they would have to mail to me. Then days went by and I still haven't received the kit so I called to let them know that I have yet to receive it and they would give me some kind of excuse on why it hadn't come to me but I would never receive the kit! I even offered to take it to one of the Verizon stores or the corporate just so I wouldn't have to pay the equipment penalty. Their customer service assured me that it wouldn't count against me because it's their fault! Within 3 months I finally received the kit sent the modem back that same day. This was back in July of last year . Never received any kind of email or letter stating that they received it. In November I received a letter stating that I'm in default because their equipment was never sent back. I immediately called their customer service and gave them the tracking number that I received from UPS and they reassured me again that it was their fault.. it must have been miscommunication on their part and they will take care of it. Ever since then I've been bombarded by Texas and emails by their debt collectors wanting their money for that damn equipment! Just be careful with them! read more

Came in at opening to replace damaged SIM card. They don't carry physical SIM cards. They looked through my phone and told me that my phone would not work with an eSIM. Drove across town to another Verizon. Waited for 45 minutes for service. They looked through my phone and fixed my issue with an eSIM. I told the rep what the Montebello rep told me about not being able to use the eSIM. Apparently- the corporate Montebello mall location doesn't bother to help much with issues like this. The Montebello mall location wasted my morning by having me drive across town to a location that already had a line- and the problem could have been solved in less than 15 min. Although the store was pretty busy, one of their associate came to take care of my questions. I told him exactly what I was looking for, and he steered me in the right direction. I made an appointment per store instructions and when I arrived, the store was closed. According to the current business hours, the store was supposed to be open until 6 pm and, when I arrived for my appointment, the merchandise was put away and the gate was down. According to Verizon, an appointment is a required for tech assistance, which I made. However, I didn't receive any confirmation that the store was closing early nor was the appointment canceled. When I arrived, I checked into my appointment. Like an idiot, I thought this was standard procedure thinking a staff member was helping another customer in the back of the store. After waiting for thirty minutes or more, it was clear the store was closed. Needles to say I was upset because I came all the way from Pasadena in the rain hoping to have my phone fixed. On top of that, I spoke with mall security asking if the store was closed; apparently, the store has been closing early lately which is not only bad customer service, it makes me wonder if other clients like myself were screwed over like myself. I wouldn't be as upset as I am if my situation wasn't urgent because I know stuff happens. However, the lack of professionalism and customer service shows me the management doesn't care about its customers or needs to do a better job instructing staff to contact appointment to cancel. I am very disappointed because I've been a Verizon customer for almost 20 years and this is a slap in my face as I've never experienced this before. Came here to make the switch from TMobile after 12 years!! Plus Verizon was having amazing deals on new phones and rewards if you switch over. Zuan helped me at this location and she was amazing and helpful. Not to mention she was so nice. I got lucky and they had our phones in stock there, no need to wait for back order. I wasn't planning on making the switch in store because my husband wasn't with me and I didn't want him to lose service while I was gone. So Zuan came out with printed list she made of the steps of everything I need to do to make the switch on my own, how to send back our old phones, how to get the $400 back from switching over, and how to register for Disney+, Hulu & ESPN since our plan comes with it. My family and I got our phones here and we have been with verizon for over 10 years. I never had an issue in the past but i just had a terrible experience. Originally when we went to the store and got our phones, everything went super smooth. the sales rep was very knowledgeable and gave us all the right information. I was pleased with our first encounter. Fast forward 3 weeks, I realized I have been charged for insurance on the phones. I was immediately super upset. I never authorized for insurance on my plan nor was I even approached about the idea of insurance from the rep. I spoke with customer service and they said it was initiated at the store. I understand that sales reps need to meet their goals but please do so ethically. I don't mind being sold something but if you just sneak in extra services I did not ask for, you are doing it wrong. I asked for a refund and they said they will. Fast forward to today, I have not received a refund but instead, I got charged extra for insurance. Now i am even more upset. So i decide to step in this verizon store. I walk in and am told all of them are busy and that I would have to wait, which is fine. I wait for about an hour without any acknowledgement. It is 30 minutes past closing and I am furious. No "thanking" me for my patience nor letting me know they will be right with me. The hubby lost his beloved Droid. He went down to this location and talked to Evia who went over his account and found out that he could get a new phone right away. Since we have a family plan, we could all get new phones. She worked out the details and wrote them out. The cost changed very little from our usual monthly bill. He got all excited! All he had to do was round up the rest of us. (Usually an impossible task) For this, both sons made themselves available. Of course they did! I was being the big baby about it because I remembered how long it took the last time we all switched out our phones at another location. We were hoping Evia would be there but she wasn't, so we had David set us up and he made it a fast, easy & painless transaction. Very nice and efficient, that guy! Since I wanted to stick with an old school flip phone, he took care of me first so I could go mall-walking. By the time I came back, he was almost done.
