She or her manager have the patience for the highest quality help. Very calm, professional and knowledgeable of the process to switch phones, syncing or purchasing. Our Verizon Home Wireless service went out on both lines. Our wireless home phones have a busy tone when dialing as well as cannot receive and make call. I was in a CHAT with Verizon for over 24 hours and got nowhere with them. It is a hassle to even get a CHAT going, and then they keep harassing me. It took a long time and three agents to find my account. They kept giving useless "fixes". This is all by design. On Thursday they lied to me and said that there were no outages; on Friday a Tier 2 agent said that there were outages which caused our problems to start. If Verison has outages causing problems they must go out and fix them. Zero corporate responsibility. The Tier 2 agent finally told me the correct information for ME to fix the problems. Verison owes us but won't. "Please do note that this will be resolve within 4-5 business days. Rest assured this this issue will be highly prioritize." I'm assured of nothing good from Verison. The process was smooth and fast, noticed a couple things we didn't need on our account to save a few bucks. So walking in there is no register. There is benches and Chairs. Very reminiscent of Apple stores. Only problem I experienced was that I didn't know what to do walking in. All the employees were busy with customers and since there is no check in area or register I was left aimlessly looking for a assistance. After a few minutes a kind customer who had also experienced the same problem told me talk to the guy sitting at the table with an iPad to check into the line. I had to ask the guy with glasses if he worked here cause there was nothing (name tag, logo, or color pallet) on his person that indicates he worked there. The only way to pay cash is to be a Verizon customer and if they're owe you change, they just credit your account. That was disappointing. Had an issue with a defected item from Verizon purchased at this store and she( lady with purple & pink hair) she wasn't wearing a name tag ask for a manger her responded with it's not gonna make a difference, she was trying to charge me a restocking fee of $60 for exchange a broken product. You know when other co worker are looking at you and they know what she's done is wrong & unprofessional. Acted like I was putting them out to assist me, their customer. The manager and entire staff ought to be fired and would be if they worked in my company. Going back to AT&T. I was with AT&T for 15 years. Finally made the switch to Verizon because their cellular service was supposedly SO much better. Well, it is NOT. And their customer service is atrocious. Horrible customer service and beyond unprofessional. My husband, son and I walked in the store 20 min before store closed. Two employees were in the store, one just left. Before we even were asked to be helped the employee stated- did you want to schedule an appt for tomorrow- we don't have time to assist. The store was still open. As we shopped around, I waited for him to finish talking to the customer he was speaking too. I asked him what the store policy was, as the store was still open. I asked for a store manager name/or district manager ( since the store was still open:I had not even been given a chance to share what I needed). The sales men went to the back- which took more time then needed and prob could have assisted. He gave me a sticky with an email and 1800 #. I asked him what the policy was for Verizon. He stated " I have a family I want to go home too, I know you came 20 min before the store closes but we need more time" I told him he didn't have to be rude and that I didn't understand why we couldn't wait. He then walked away and continued to rant- my name is Francisco do you need me to spell it/ here's my last name. My husband then turned around and said, he man you don't need to be rude- she's walking out- I turned around and told him- your very unprofessional and rude. I asked you a legitimate question- with no profanity and respectfully- your attitude and tone is completely out of pocket. What was extremely demonstrated was the employee's comfort to engage in that way and provide an email and a tech support number with no concern for his behavior. I'll definitely will get in touch with the store manager/district manager and notify customer service. However it is key to recognize unprofessional service. Especially that this is a actual Verizon store. Unfortunately these individuals have no training or accountability it appears in professionalism or customer service. I went in for a second time because I had an issue with porting number from another service provider. The prior gentleman who helped me was very helpful, but this time, I got Nando. When he found out that I wasn't there to buy anything, his entire attitude changed. He didn't really care and just told me that it is common to take a few days to port a number and asked me to just wait. I later called Verizon and found out that there was an issue with the porting and the Verizon rep (i.e., Nando) should have been able to help me. My wife and I came here last month to say goodbye to Verizon. We needed a PIN to transfer our number over to a carrier across the street- which we already signed up for, and had new phones. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by Marcus and told him what we needed. What happened next, I'm not quite sure- but Marcus definitely had his game on. Not only did Marcus keep us as Verzion customers, he hooked us up with an incredible plan- and even took the time to find 2 new phones from stock that just came in. It sounded too good to be true. Nope. he went ahead and printed out exactly what our bill would be, and even changed my mind about auto pay. This guy is good! Sure enough, everything he said is working out perfect- and we're very happy with these upgraded phones- and found out we're paying a lot less than if we stayed with the carrier across the street. I was really nervous about coming in here since the rating was so low but I had no issues at all. Unfortunately I forgot the name of the man that helped me but I grateful for the time and effort he put in to help me. They greeted me at the door (no wait, ftw!!!!) and helped me exchange a phone case and helped pick out a wireless charger for my new iPhone. Everything I came in with, I had previously bought and they were able to help rebundle with the new things so my stuff was still discounted. It's the little things here that make a big difference. Finally, when we bought the new iPhone at a different store, the sales rep was so focused on the sale and not helping us, that he didn't help me trade in my phone. Luckily the employees at this store saved me again! Helped set up the trade in and avoided having to have a box sent to me and having to go out agaaaaain and ship. Although understaffed due to covid every employee still put in 110% and try their best to get to and serve every customer. Some customers can be impatient but the verizon emploees will still do their best regardless of the hostility. Sure, wait times can be long but it's really nobody's fault and you should expect a long wait time regardless of whether or not you have an appointment. I went back to Verizon in Porter Ranch today for help with my phone charger. I was the first customer in the store, and was lucky to get a kind rep named Josh. He was patient and thorough, and promised me he would not abandon me until we repaired everything. After testing and working on the charger, he proceeded to fix a problem I had receiving texts. This took a while, but Josh was patient even though it ended up taking over an hour. Once both problems were resolved, he suggested I might want to buy a backup charger for my phone. He was genuinely helpful, not hard sell at all. He even showed me where to get a discount coupon for it on the app. I left the store feeling well cared for and even more knowledgeable about my phone. read more

I went to the Verizon Porter Ranch store to redeem an offer I received via email which allowed me to trade in my iPhone SE 2 for an iPhone 14 and get $800 of statement credits over the next 36 months without having to switch to a more expensive phone plan. I called Verizon customer service to confirm that I could do the entire transaction at the store and was told that would not be a problem as long as I went to a "company store" and not one of the "authorized retailers." The Porter Ranch location is a company store. I had nothing but headaches with this store as the two people I dealt with there were unwilling to help me unless I completed the entire process online and also declined to accept my trade-in saying they didn't want to be responsible for it. After getting a Verizon customer service rep back on the phone (and being told again that I could do everything at the store) I then made a second attempt to complete the transaction. The first store employee I dealt with (Deana) then turned me to another person (I don't know his name). This guy proceeded to mute the Verizon rep I still had on the phone and then went on my Verizon app and told me my trade-in didn't qualify when in fact it did. I got up and walked out the door and told the Verizon rep on the phone what happened. The rep apologized and offered to waive the $35 upgrade fee via a statement credit on my next phone bill. I went home and ordered the iPhone 14 on my laptop and had a QR code emailed to me so I could go to UPS to ship my trade-in back to Verizon. I should've done this to begin with since it's obvious that using a trade-in promo at a store is an impossible task. To the two people I encountered at the store: If you don't believe in customer service, then go work at McDonald's as a cook where you are out of sight and mind. I went in for help with my new phone. The service was unbelievably bad. A white worker named Dena was rude, condescending, and unhelpful. Her attitude was horrible. The whole scene was surreal. She told me to fix my own phone. Got up and walked away. I asked another worker for the manager. The manager came and switched out my Sim cards but did not return the Sim card from my new phone. When I told her that I wanted to complain about Dena's horrible customer service she said and did nothing. By that time Dena had reappeared from the back and walked out the door. In short - scheduling appointments online doesn't matter. First come first serve. And 30min wait times. So I setup an appointment for 7:30pm, showed up on time. Waited for 15min and finally was approached by Verizon person asking for my name. I said I had an appointment for 7:30. He found me in computer and said someone would help me when available. I asked why the wait, he said he just entered me into the queue and others were ahead of me. I ask why I wasn't slotted in at my appointment time. He said it's first come first serve. Even for appointments?? What's the point of an appointment then? Thanks for having me fight traffic, miss my kid's bedtime, and wait forever, only to be told my appointment doesn't matter. Oh yeah, and 4 people were ahead of me, probably another 15min or more wait - which I didn't have time for, as my appointment time was schedule for 7:30-8. So I had to leave without any service. Terrible customer service, order online or go with another provider. ---- In response to Verizon's generic comment back to my review: Sorry, this was your third chance. And it was the worst to date. I expect long wait times without an appointment, low stock of phones, pushy/disinterested reps, poor communication, and confusing charges (sadly). I went in to trade in a device and got convinced to try out a promotion for a 5g home device. At first Marianna made it seem like it was a limited time offer and to take advantage of one free month. She made it seem it was hassle free and not to worry about it. Turns out that my location does not support the device so I have to return it. On top of that I may be charged 50 dollar re stock fee. Marianna is deceitful and dishonest. I do not recommend going to this store. Now I'm stuck with possibly having to pay a re stocking fee. I am going to file a complaint with the Verizon corporate website. After more than 20 years of being a loyal customer, I should not have to endure such disrespectful service. read more

Chris was our representive and he was able to give us the rundown on the new iPhone 8, some specs on the 10, and the Samsung 8 and 8 plus. I usually do my homework when it comes to technology and he was able to answer and confirm any questions that I had for him. He was honest and professional and I was very comfortable purchasing the Samsung 8. I am not only satisfied with the phone but with the service that was provided.
