Everyone at this location are extremely helpful and professional but Cristian Rodriguez got the job done for me. I recently moved to Porter ranch and I have zero bars and it says sos only on my phone. So I got the usual run around call customer service do this do that. Long story short after being frustrated i asked him to call on my behalf from the store. Within 10 min he had my network extender ordered! If customer service decided to jerk me around some more i would have canceled both my lines and walked across to ATT&T. What's the point of having a cell phone if I cant even call 911. Discovered today that Verizon has been billing me phone insurance on the wrong phone when I last upgraded, and I went here hoping this store could help me try and resolve this issue and avoid me having to escalate this via channels outside of Verizon. Instead of trying to find a resolution, the lady who assisted me kept insinuating that we switched SIM cards on our lines when we upgraded (we did not), and that they would not help me at all. This person also did not seem concerned that we were lied to by store reps about which phones were being covered with insurance and subsequently paid for for 2 years and retorted with, "What would you like us to do then? Because we are not covering the phone and we are not issuing any credits or refunds" with a curt tone. Absolutely uncalled for and unprofessional, especially being a long time customer. This store is a disgrace and a horrible representation of Verizon wireless...The lack of respect the sales associate and managers have for their customers is unreal. They behave like commission based sales rep not customer service reps, but that's only if they feel like it... They seem to spend most of their time crowded amongst themselves in what appears as a group hang out(the reps just gathered together chit chatting among themselves). They seemed very annoyed that we bothered them and their conversation, all 3 times I've been in the store in less than a month. The truth is, If someone from Verizon on the inside over the phone, didn't actually help us. We would have bolted asap from Verizon. Beyond disrespectful reps at this location. My mom had been a customer of Verizon since before It was even called Verizon. We started with phones and pagers with bell and what every company was before that.. My mom and I've had our phone number for about 15 years... Over the years yes we've had issue but never anything like this. less than a month ago I went into the Verizon store, after a previously similar but less horrible bad experience at a different location. My issue coming into the store was that The account owner of the family plan, which is my mom passed away. Less than a month prior... After speaking over the phone with a rep, we were told to go to a store and get liability switched and the forms needed which were documented on the account can be done at the time as well... My father and I went in to the store twice .. First time wasted an hour.. Second time 45 minutes... My dad and I wanted to assume liability of the account and send back a phone and disconnect a line. We wanted to keep my mom's number. The manager of this store flat out told me he refused to fill out the needed form to make this transaction. When I asked if he can't or won't do it he told me he won't do it. He kept trying to find excuses that didn't even pertain to our situation as to why. He couldn't care less that the owner of the account and only person responsible had died. Contract doesn't exist if the person is no longer alive or honor it. Instead of even trying to keep us a customers the manager was rude, disrespectful and a disgrace to Verizon.. I went back few weeks later asked for the territory manager info. He first told me he couldn't release it. Than gave me a fake number instead... Sad part not only were we assuming liability we were also upgrading 2lines, so if the reps even understood customer service they would be possible made the commission they deemed we weren't going to give them. But to top all of this off, once we got all the liability stuff done over the phone. I went to upgrade my iPad and get my iPad pro I specifically said I'm upgrading that number/line the rep read the number of what line I was upgrading and then turns around and guess what the sales rep did he Adds a line verses upgrade it, I'm like wow really. read more

This place should be open, but with no employees. Maybe they should be replaced by automated service kiosks. I'm certain that all customers would get better service this way. I walked in to see if they sold batteries for my phone. The guy just replied, "No, you'll have to check online." And that concluded my experience. We went to this store to buy a new phone. We were told we needed an appointment but there was many employees and 1 customer. They helped us but we're totally unhelpful. Very rude. New business account with Verizon. Came in to exchange my phone as per instructions via Verizon. Went to the store in porter ranch. Was helped by Melissa and another young lady. They offered me less than I was told for my phone. Based on there computer systems notifications. The Verizon employee seemed to be cognizant of the online issue as they prescribed me calling sales business to get the appropriate rate for the trade in. They would not do it for me. It makes a customer feel defeated when they're required to do more leg work for something that was promised to be simple. This is bad customer service. I miss AT&T already. read more

I went to the verison wireless store in Porter Ranch to physically hold a cell phone on my hand before purchasing it online on my Verizon account when I was told that they only allowed those with appointments inside. I then reminded the employee that there was absolutely nobody in the store except for the 2 other employees pretending to shoot baskets behind the counter. Still he was adamant that nobody can come in without an appointment. So I went across the parking lot to another electronic store and walked in to check out their iPhone display without any hassle. Literally took 5 minutes. On the way out of the parking lot I drove by the same Verizon store and notice that there were now 4 employees doing absolutely nothing with still a completely empty store. By far the worst Verizon location I have been to. Employees are rude, dismissive, and want to get you out the door as soon as possible. Managers on the floor are just as incompetent. The answer to all my questions was either "I don't know" or "we don't do that here". No surprise this location has 2 stars. If you have to stick with Verizon, go to the Granada Hills location. I went to Verizon for prepaid service and the young lady who helped me out was so dismissive and unhelpful. Justice didn't give me a receipt, my new phone number, or a working service. These people will happily take your money and leave you with a non-functioning phone. Justice.. go back to service industry to learn how to be a good customer service worker & then maybe you can try sales. My phone was no longer charging and thought since it was an older Samsung I needed a new phone. Instead of trying to sell me a new phone right off the young man Christian put my phone on a flat charger to start charging so he woukd be able to transfer my contacts,, etc. Then he ooked into my account, saw I had insurance and said let's call and see if we can get you a replacement. After much time spent on the phone unsuccessfully being so patient but firm I should not be charged another man overheard what was going on said hang up we'll take care of it. They then proceeded to clean up portal for charger deemed it needed a new charger and Christian even cleaned my entire phone - looks brand new now. I am going to purchase a new phone soon from them but they made it possible for me to go on a trip I had planned with a phone that is working/charging. I have never experienced better customer service anywhere ever - I don't know why they have only 2 stars but suspect it must be from previous staff. I would recommend this Verizon store/location to anyone infact I have told my sister to go there for her iPhone issues with iffy phone coverage in certain areas. Worst customer service ever. Josh is a joke as a representative. Our family had an appointment. 20 minutes later someone finally came over to ask us if they could help us. We wanted to change plans and get a new phone. There was a try for an upsell and we were not in to doing that we were just wanted to upgrade. We finally got what we wanted and attempted to port the numbers and get everything changed and thank God our daughter was able to do it for us there because he did not do anything. At 4:23 after the sale had been made and we were still having difficulty and on the phone with a customer service representative guiding us, JOSH said "I can't help you with that." and we were out the door." I went with my friend last night to this store who. By the way has been a loyal Verizon customer since they were air touch. I was extremely taken back by the customer service experience he received , mind you he went in to buy a phone I was just accompanying him. There hardly wasn't anyone there so we didn't Wait too long but when we finally were helped out by Arman who has NO customer service skills what so ever, very plain, not informative, and very dismissive. It's not like my friend wasn't spending 1k on the new google pixel. The phone that John wanted wasn't available so Arman had him go through the process of purchasing it so it could be mailed when that process was done all Arman said was thank u we are done, didn't give John any info about when phone would arrive, who was shipping it and that someone needed to sign for it my friend found that out cuz he went online. This guy was the worse and he didn't even try to sell him a case nor screen protectors not that my friend would have bought one but the fact the he dismissed is quickly was insane for someone that had just wanted to spend 1k becuz my friend did want to pay up front for the phone but Arman said he couldn't do that due to a 30 day return policy. We went to Verizon porter ranch to buy a samsung watch for the two of us and Carmen took care of us. She was informed by my husband that he will only stay in the US for a month so he wanted a prepaid plan. We waited more than an hour because they had difficulty in processing the transaction on their system. We also said that we would pay for the other watch in full and she told us the full cost. After we paid, we went home without Carmen explaining the breakdown of expensess. 2 weeks later, I received an online bill of 400 dollars and came back to verify and said it was just an estimate. After 1 week again, I received my final bill for the next month of 381.00. We came back this afternoon and there I found out that the watches had a monthly bill and not a fully paid watch that we thought was paid. Then we just found out that my husband's sim card is postpaid and not prepaid so i have to pay 60 dollars a month per line. In other words, if Carmen had just explained all the breakdown of expenses we would not have taken the watches. They fail to inform us of all the hidden fees even if the watch was paid in full it still was binded to a two year payment which they now saying that is my downpayment. Also even if i decided to return the watches, it will still amount to my bill of $381 due to the repackaging fees and other fees. In my opinion, this is highway robbery. I will NEVER EVER purchase or advise anyone to purchase from Verizon porter ranch. You will be better off buying from Best Buy. Note: I gave 1 star and that's for the manager's effort to calm me down and giving some options. read more
