Spoke with a girl named Courtney about my plan. Courtney kept telling me to call another number and that my questions were specific to my plan. I was asking a simple, general question. How many unlimited plans could their really be? Courtney basically had no knowledge on anything, was very rude (I don't care if its Saturday morning and your cranky. I called her while heading to my own job....) Courtney was condescending, rude, unintelligent, and doesn't care about her job because she blatantly hung up on me and scolded me over the phone just for asking questions. She should not be working in her line of work. Something more simple, like cart pushing at Costco, or maybe a server at loaves and fishes might be better for her. If a sale isn't on her radar, her customer service goes out the door for information seekers. Avoid working with Courtney in the future, because working with someone who doesn't care is dangerous in a sales environment. You're just a number to her. Watch out. But then again, all Verizon stores hire nightmare employees like Courtney because they are the bottom feeders of the sales world. read more

Just got a couple phones from Verizon.We have been to this store several times in the past and have left upset. I don't usually yelp but I had such a great experience this time. Adam helped us! Right when we walked in they were busy but he acknowledged us as soon as we walked in. He was able to multi task and get us started at the same time as helping another client. He had such a great attitude and was able to explain everything clearly. Me and my husband walked out with the phones we wanted. The worst customer service experience! ​If I have the ability to give Verizon a rating of 0 or below I will not hesitate to do. I have ordered a new iPhone 6 online for my wife for her birthday, and I have received the shipment within 72 hours, and this was the only good part of the story. However, the phone was not active and was unable to make or receive any calls. I took the phone and went to Verizon's showroom located at Zinfandel Square Shopping Center, 10857 Olson Dr, Rancho Cordova, CA 95670 and that was on May/7/2015. The employee tried to activate it but failed to do. He then asked his colleague who did not try any effort but called the activation service number and handed the phone to me. I spoke to the first service representative and he/she wasn't able to help, so he/she transferred me to a second one, then a third, then a forth, then a fifth, and then the sixth representative without being able to activate my phone!!! On every transfer, I have to give my full information and describe my problem from the beginning. I have indicated to the sixth rep that I have fed up, and I have informed the reps in the showroom that this cannot be a level of service from a company with a big name like Verizon but he told me that he will have to transfer me to another rep to be able to help me. At that point I lost my mind and told him NO! you have to help me and you have to finish this task because it is just a simple activiation, only at that time magic worked and my phone got activated! I left the showroom very ungry and I told the reps that I will complain but no one showed any serious reaction. I tried to submit a complain over Verizon's website, but there was no form or email to do so, the only available thing was the Twitter account. I have contacted the Twitter account and wrote all the details and surprisengly their reply was "We're sorry to hear this, is there any thing else we can help you with?". That simple! That "sorry" word does not deserve the time it took me to write my complaint! I have replied that saying sorry is not enough and I need the email of the CEO to complain to him and I haven't heard a reply back from them. In short, I was surprise by the very low level of service that ALL your employees have with no exception! The ones in the showroom, the ones on the phone, and the ones on Twitter which makes me believe that this is a company policy and cannot be a coincident. The device itself is also of bad quality and it hangs and reboots at least once a day. I wish that I have never purchased anything from Verizon, and I promise I will never do again. read more

Recently I made the switch from AT&T to Verizon and had the pleasure of being helped by Adam at the Rancho Cordova site. He was amazing! He took the time to make sure all my needs were met. I was switching 3 lines over and it took some time, but he was very patient and thorough through the entire process. I had some issues transferring data from my daughter's phone. I was having some issues with my phone and I went in on my lunch break to see if they could help and the young lady knew exactly how to fix it, I also mentioned my bill while we were talking and she asked to look at my account and see if there was anything she could do to help. She was actually able to save me about $30 monthly and get my work discount added on there while nobody else has ever checked on that for me. I really appreciate her knowledge and willingness to take the extra time to help me submit my discount. Hire more like her. read more

Avoid the Ranch Cordova store and a salesman named Edgar at all costs! I went there to upgrade my phone and pay my current bill. This guy LIED to me continuously about the products and prices! He signed me up for 2 services I did NOT ask for and charged me $30 for a battery charger he said was free! On top of that, he lied about paying my bill. It is a good thing I carefully went over my receipt! When I went back to confront him and talk to the manager, I was told "Hey man, we're salesmen." I contemplated legal action but fortunately I was refunded the charges after voicing my displeasure. I will NEVER shop at a Victra Verizon store again! read more

Just got a bill from Verizon that is NOT reflective of what was quoted at this authorized dealer at all. We came over from AT&T. Paid a 19.99 activation fee per line in store, now Verizon is billing us $30 per line. Was quoted in the store as $40 per line per mo on our plan however the bill is $45 per line. Cost to switch is not worth it. I had a gut feeling we should have gone to a Verizon Corporate store. Although the guy that helped us was nice, obviously he doesn't know squat about how to quote pricing. read more

OK, I was pretty annoyed with service tech Eric at this location. I came in with a technical issue with my phone requiring more tech knowledge than I had. So I drive to this Verizon store for help. Sunday afternoon, place is totally dead. 3 employees, 1 was helping another customer. Eric asks what I was looking for and I stated the issue. Phone needs to update, storage on phone is limited, and info not saving to media card.. with about 4-5 attempts of him trying to trash my phone and get me to upgrade and check my plan blah blah blah I firmly stated I am not upgrading. I wasn't interested, and that I have e a family friend whom we use when needing to upgrade. This was a technical issue needing immediate assistance.. from the moment he realized he couldn't sell me anything and that he had to basically do the other part of his job, the non sales part, totally uninterested in customer service and helping me. He stated that the memory card was dislodged, and I said, OK, pls relodge it.. my intent is to have a functioning phone for my mom to use before she has to leave this afternoon, since she doesn't live around here.. he was able to fix the issue, but with no smile, no nothing.. I left saying thank you so much and have a great day, and Eric was silent.. as if I ruined his workday by asking a service question rather than a sales question.. sorry you won't make money from me, but you still represent Verizon as a company... Totally a failed experience here. I didn't catch the other man's name, but the little interaction I had with the tall skinny black associate was more pleasant and at least offered some personality and customer service via friendliness.. so kudos to him, I'd be more inclined to wait to see him if ever I needed something f immediate, and didn't have e time to drive to our personal friend for the issue.. read more

Warning do not purchase anything from this store! If i could give zero stars I would! My wife and went in to upgrade our old phones. I called first and they said they had a promotion going for the OLD Samsung Note 4 where the phone was on sale for $300 and you get $300 in rebates. Not a bad deal right!? Horrible...it took all 4 employees at the time, including the store manager, to help us buy these phones. No one knew what they were doing. So we think we are buying our phones outright in the store...because that's what we were told on the phone and in store multiple times. They say the promotion is great and say it includes cases and screen protectors and that they'll even throw in 2 memory cards. What they failed to say is that we bought all that unnecessary stuff and still owed $649 for each phone! The lamest part is we have no idea about all this until we get our next bill and surprise surprise it's too late to change anything about...and too late to return them for much newer and better phones! We think we got a great deal because that's what we were told but we spent $600 to get $600 back and now owe $1300 for 2 old Note 4's...if we were told we'd have to pay the full price for the Note 4's why wouldn't we pay just as much for the new Galaxy S6 on sale at every other Verizon store!? All this to say we will never go back there and if corporate doesn't make it right we may be changing our service provided! Very poor customer service and non-existent corporate ethics. They lie to face to make a sale and then pretend they didn't when you call them on it and act like they don't know who helped you even after you tell them it was them. read more

Sign on their building says Verizon, but this is a third party seller and not a corporate store - beware, because this will cause you a headache. Verizon had a promotion for $400 off my old phone. One month ago, I switched from T-Mobile and got added onto an existing Verizon account. I told Miquel, the rep that I was working with, that I want to pay off the phone completely, so when the first bill comes in I would see exactly what I owe each month for the service and tax (with the exception of the $40 activation fee on the first bill). Total value of the new phone was $860, subtract $400 for the trade-in and I was looking at $460 out of pocket. Miquel told me that I have to finance a minimum of $20, but that I could pay off that amount when the bill comes out. The first bill is now available, I'm looking at the charges like o.O because the amount owed for my phone is $860. I called this location to ask for Miquel, Tori advised me that Miquel was transferred to a different location, and gave me his new location's phone number. Tori also mention that he doesn't know what's going on with my bill, and that it doesn't look like my payment was applied... I have the receipt... the payment definitely should of been applied. I called the new location, the phone number doesn't work. Called back this location and was told Tori is unavailable, so I left my call back info. Its been two hours and no one called me back. I finally got tired of playing cat and mouse and called the corporate Verizon. They walked me through my chargers and get this, not only was the $400 trade in value a freaking credit (so it gets split x amount amongst 24 months) and I'm locked into this plan because there is no way to apply the full credit amount immediately, but he didn't leave me with a $20 balance that "I could pay off the first bill" it was actually $50 and Verizon won't let me pay it in full because that is not the agreement that Miquel had me sign... I also found out that Miquel charged me a total of $60 for activation ($40 Verizon activation fee and $20 non-corporate store fee). He did not disclose to me that there is an additional $20 third party store fee, which corporate Verizon told me he was supposed to. Anyway.. I went from paying $47 at T-Mobile without any obligation to stay with them, to $67+ at Verizon with a two year contract that I was tricked into. The corporate Verizon told me to go directly to a corporate store for future assistance, she didn't tell me why, but I think its clear that the third party sellers are incompetent and straight up shady. I came into this store the other day and was very baffled by how unprofessional the "assistant manager" was. Her clothes were very unprofessional and looked as if she had just came from the club. When other employees would ask her a question or for her help she was rude, as if the other employees were bothering her. She had unprofessional music playing from her phone through the stores speakers and singing along with the music. All around she is unprofessional in the business work place. I think the district manager needs to evaluate who he has running his stores. read more

This store has been around for awhile and I am surprised that so few people know about it. It rarely has waits and the staff happens to be pretty knowledgeable and up to date on their phones. Came in with an old HTC Incredible and walked out with the new HTC DNA and so far they have been right on with its recommendation The only con I would have for the place is lack of a pay machine, they only accept cash payments and its a $3 dollar service fee Other than that, staff is very helpful, they put on my screen protector after I bought the phone, and you're almost guaranteed no lines when you come in. read more

Very upset bc the sale associate Erik uses languages to confuse you... Glad I caught it and instead of paying $161, I paid $39 for starting new services. After signing up and giving all my information, I was given the impression that for the total of $161 the cost included the phone itself, tax, activation fees, and the "special deal" he was giving me for the phone cover and screen protector. After some questioning and him explaining even with the assistance from other sale associates, $161 did not cover the phone itself as the sale associates repeatedly explained that it did. The language they used was confusing and I was persistent to ask questions until I understood. When I asked for the phone cover and screen protector to be removed from the $161 my charges went down to $39. And no, the $161 did not include the phone what so ever, even though I was told so. It didn't make sense because why would I still have to pay for the monthly payments for the phone. I'm glad I caught this. Furthermore before leaving the store, I was to be billed $191 for the phone however on Verizon website it clearly advertised for $168. I pointed and showed the sale associate Erik this and he responded that they do not price match. I insisted that I speak to his manager and then Erik proceeded and spoke to his manager privately in the back, Erik then came out and did another price adjustment on my bill. I tell you, ask all your questions, make sure you understand, don't be confused with the sale language they use, check the prices and don't sign anything you don't see and understand, request to see the itemized charges. This activation took well over 4 hours. Ridiculous! I received no apologies from the sale associates as well as nothing from the manager who did eventually came to assist with the phone price adjustment of $191 to $168 on the register with no success. I think the sale associates may be paid base on commission, that's probably why Erik and the other sale associate who came to assist explaining were so persistent trying to get me to buy the phone cover and screen protector. What bothers me most is that they were not upfront about the $161 charge; it did not include the phone at all but they kept going around the bushes and playing with their words that the charge does include the phone. read more

Should have gone to an official Verizon store. When we got our first bill, we found out they were charging us for phone insurance that they never asked us about. Do NOT go to this store...unless you like being ripped off and or want to deal with people who do not know what they are doing. Also, this is NOT a real Verizon store. They are some kind of third party company using the Verizon name. I have no idea why Verizon has partnered with these people. If I had realized it was not a real Verizon store, I would have left immediately !! Running ! Recently went in to get a new phone for my daughter. She chose a phone but then realized she had not backed up her old phone. We were going to go home so she could do that but the store employee assured us he could do the backup, easy, no problem. Well, four days later, still waiting on the backup to be completed on the old phone. My daughter did get her pictures though so at that point she said just forget it. Also, I was told the store opens at 9:00 am but when I arrived at 9:00 am, store was closed. Two other people waiting as well. When I went into the store later, I asked the employee about why they were not open at 9:00 and he said their hours just changed. Yeah, right. But you didn't change your phone message or website to reflect the new hours?? I would have given no stars if that was possible. read more

I went into this Verizon Store to see what my options where for switching to a new plan. The man who assisted me, Reggie, was very nice and professional. He gave me my options and was patient as my husband and I discussed what we change we wanted to make. Once decided, Reggie made the change quickly. I especially like how he turned the screen of his computer in my direction so I could see everything he was doing. This helped me trust what he was telling me because I could see it myself. (You never know with salesmen) After my plan was changed, we chatted about tablets for younger children (we both have 5 year olds). He showed me the tables available and explained the current promotions without being your typical phony or pushy salesman. I was very pleased with the experience I had at this Verizon Location! The store was clean, the staff was great and I didn't have a long wait as I have experienced at other Verizon locations. Even though there are a few other Verizon stores closer to my home, after the experience I had at this store, I will definitely be returning!!! read more

I wanted to let you know that even though I had problems with the phones that I purchased your staff went above and beyond to make things right. Torry did an OUTSTANDING JOB to say the least!!!! I worked with him from the beginning to the end of this whole process, which I might add was three evenings in a row. He learned some new processes through this experience, but his attitude and professionalism was to be commended. He also assisted Erik in training while I was there and was a great teammate to his colleague. Erik also did a GREAT JOB. Even though he's new and in the process of learning he still did an excellent job in making sure that he was professional and willing to learn as much as he could through this process. When Torry told me about a survey that might be coming my way I ensured both Torry and Erik that the phones not working was not their fault and that they had provided excellent customer service. I also informed them that I would be writing a review on Yelp and Facebook because I know how important it is to get recognition for a job well done.
