These guys used predatory sales tactics on my 78 year old grandmother. They insisted she sign up for a HUM or some BS gps service (as if her iphone didn't have these features for free...). I walk in and try to talk to the manager about who sold the device etc. and he basically laughed at me and told me I was screwed and stuck on the contract. I'd have known not to sign up for the HUM scam but my 78 year old grandmother is now stuck with an extra $10/month charge for a product that is functionally useless. The salesperson was Brandon. Just an AWESOME STORE WITH EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE. I am not a Verizon customer until a week ago when I tried with ATT in Fontana ca to get two 12.9 iPads. Bad service. Long wait. I left after they told me it couldn't be done my husband told me to try VERIZON in rancho. I did and was met with a warm welcome even though the store was crowded. I was told it may take five minutes. Within 2 minutes Jason came over to help me and I must say I had the best costomer service of my life. He explained all my options. I want to transfer my service for my phones here now. I have my two beautiful iPads in the colors I wanted and the store manager checked on me several times too to see if I was happy. Went in on Friday August 4th since my Note 5 locked me out. I usually can get into my phone with my thumbprint, but my phone wanted me to type in my password and my keyboard stopped working. Went in for help. Young guy on a scooter asked me what he could help me with. I let him know, he looked up my insurance info and said my insurance only covered theft and loss. Tried to help my situation by selling me another line. As if this would fix my situation! Tried to say he could hard reset my phone and I'd lose everything on it, or new line. Got home, Googled my phone problem and fixed the issue in 5 minutes. Maybe I should work at this Verizon and use Google's help to actually help people instead of try to take advantage of them. SMH, go somewhere else, unless of course you want to help with someone's commission. They don't seem one bit interested in helping anyone. No wonder it wasn't busy in there. Our family has upgraded two iPhones in last couple months. I felt in store customer service was good. Here's where it changed. Both times, after phone was chosen , the sales associate presented us with a paper that shows different packages. Both times it was presented that choosing one of these was required. The way they worded it was very clear to my family that it was a must. Now all these extra gadgets were not needed for our family. So now I just called corporate. I knew I was paying monthly on one gadget. Now found out paying $10 a month on both. Now here is the kicker. These are also two year contracts. NEVER was this said. I am normally a savvy consumer. They got me. And shame on them. Corporate cancelled both. And with my above information, they decided to only charge me for one deactivation. And I lodged a formal complaint. Moral of this is beware, ask questions, don't get ripped off. I will do all business via phone. They have always been beyond helpful. read more

The former manager helped out with a fiasco caused by Verizon when I switched from AT&T to Verizon. THEY LOST ALL MY PICS AND MESSAGES!!!!!!!!! He couldn't get my lost stuff back however. For the past 3 months I tried reaching this guy with a new Verizon-caused problem and whenever I called he wasn't in. Each time I came in he wasn't in. Each time I asked whoever was working to give him a message to call me. Each time these morons said they would. Of course no one ever called. The other day I called and finally got through to a live person. Some guy answered and I again asked for that manager. This guy tells me he is the "manager". I asked him his name and he replied with something like "Joe". Why doesn't Verizon train these entry level retail clerks to be professional----how about training all these people who claim to be "managers" to sound and act professionally? How about Joe Blow or whatever his last name is? The best part? The guy I was trying to reach supposedly left the store over 3 months ago. Dishonest ... it's is like dealing with used car salesman. This guy I will be taking his name and report him to the manager.. he did not disclose all the details to me .. he made it sound like I am getting a good deal . I. Bought a palm phone but he even said I'm paying less now with the palm phone bec they were having a Mother's Day special ...really ?? That was a lie , when I called Verizon later that day they said that is not true no there was no Mother's Day promotion going on with the palm phone ...the reason I was paying less is bec I signed up for the military discount and bec I m paying autopay from my checking.... This is what I can't stand lying , deceitful people just to make a sale , and to add he even told me that I was the one that asked about the palm phone and all he did was gave me options and I agreed to buy the phone ..but the way he explained it to me was so deceitful he did not tell me the actual price of the phone what he was showing me was the bill I'm going to pay will be less , and he said it's because they were having a special.. so that means if he can lie to me ,, he will be lying to his other customers too ... such a low life I have no respect for this kind of people .. I am returning this phone by the way even if I have to pay restocking fee I don't care... it's about the principle don't make me look a fool. read more

On 8/8/2018, my daughter upgraded to a Pixel 2 XL. The Verizon store on Monticello Ave, Rancho Cucamonga, sold her a defective phone. Technical support was contacted, but no matter what they did the issues persisted. On 8/21/2018, my daughter and I went to the store to exercise the 14 day-exchange period. The assistant manager, Ms. Marquez stated that the store did not have the phone in stock. She informed that the store in North Fontana had one phone left. My daughter went to the Verizon store in North Fontana the next day and she was told that they did not have the phone in stock and probably they were not going to receive any until the Pixel 3 is out, in October of 2018. Once again, my daughter contacted technical support because the phone was still not working. She was told to call the Verizon store and explained she had spoken to them and most likely the store was going to order a phone. My daughter spoke to Ms. Marquez again and she stated that technical support was wrong. She referred my daughter to call Google for further assistance. Once again, this Verizon store sold a defective phone. The review from 5/31/2018 indicates that a defective phone was sold. My daughter, who is a student and working to meet her basic needs, is paying for a defective phone that this store sold. The only option is to get a refurbished phone per Ms. Marquez. (It is ironic that my daughter went to buy a new phone and will end up with a refurbished phone and paying the price for a new phone when this store sold a defective phone. I am giving one star because Yelp does not allow me to post rating zero stars. read more

Tried to switch my company cell account from ATT to Verizon. Was offered the moon and got a big mess. My advice is stick with ATT. I am going on 4 hours in this store and still no resolution. Customer service is the poorest I have ever come across. read more

I enjoy the Verizon network but do not care for the employees at this location. This is my 3rd time in the store in 2 months. Each time I have come in the store the employees are not very informative on the billing and charges. When you question the charges they get defensive and leave you in the store without assistance. I do not recommend this location but I am not sure if any other locations are any better. read more

I recently posted a 5 star review for this Verizon store at Victoria Gardens. I praised Dora, and cannot wait till she returns, which i hope is soon. My husband and i went in on 12/2/17, because my phone was heating up, closing off, and not holding the charge. We were met by Lea who told me i needed to delete my apps, which were draining my phone. She never once actually looked at the phone or what was taking up the most battery "usage." She then ordered me a new phone; again, never actually touching mine. By the way, my home page was using 38%, my talk to text 21% and safari 7%. that is all that was showing. My husband researched how to restart my phone and restore it. He was able to do so; however, it somehow connected his iCloud to my phone. We returned to the Verizon store and were met by three men, one African American, and two Hispanic, all three leaning against the counter with their arms crossed. We asked for assistance. They seemed bothered by our presence; not concerned with what we were trying to ask or accomplish; basically, put out. There was only one other patron in the store. The taller Hispanic told us we needed to wipe my phone clean and reload my iCloud information. I asked if they could assist with that. No answer given by any of them. The smaller Hispanic male was the only one to offer any assistance. He provided us with an outlined, detailed step by step sheet on how to restore my information. By the way, neither one of the other associates moved from their leaning, lazy position. No acknowledgment whatsoever. it has now been over an hour and my husband is not able to fix the issue; although he is diligently attempting to "follow the step by step" directions. My new phone should be here on Monday 12/4/17. I plan to return to Verizon at the VG, and will only deal with Dora. Should she not be present, I will be looking for a new Verizon store or subscriber. read more

Don't come here if you want friendly customer service! After checking in and letting he front guy know exactly what I wanted they said i had to wait 45 minutes.(which I knew I would have to going in) when it was finally my turn the rude male said they didn't have what I was looking for. So why didn't they tell me that when I checked in? I had an exchange to do and when I spoke to two different people over the phone they said as long as the boxes of phones were sealed I would have no problem exchanging and would not have to pay the restocking fee. That's the first thing the guy helping me asked for and said "we would be taking the hit" so i needed to pay $35 restocking fee per phone that was brand new and sealed. Didn't make sense at all.. long story short I left and didn't get anything resolved, went to another Verizon store where they were much friendlier and helped exchange my products with no restocking fee! read more

I have had several bad experiences with Verizon. Tonight's visit was on par. My wife and I went in to find out about what options we have for our service. We both need phones and have realized that things have changed since we made out last purchase over three years ago. When we arrived we were greeted by a lady. She was actually nice and pleasant. She took our name and gave us a quick explanation of the stores layout. Not a bad start. We waited about ten minutes and were approached be a salesman named Zane or Zake, I couldn't tell you for sure, but it was a four letter word that started with a Z. This guy was a prick. The whole conversation he was condescending. My wife has unlimited data that has been Grandfathered due to her time with Verizon. Although she uses very little data, she doesn't want to give it up. He questioned her three or four times about why she wanted to keep it. He barely made eye contact and his mannerism conveyed that he didn't want to be there. He answered our questions quickly with as little info as possible and was rude. Not helpful at all, we left pretty pissed off. read more

So I added a line and bought a phone online decided to pick up the phone vs delivery this store was the only store that had the phone for pick up. I called at 10:10 this morning spoke with Kelly letting her know my daughter would be picking up the phone soon and did I need to do anything for this to happen, she said add her to your account and make sure she has a photo ID-went online with her on the phone completed what she asked, asked again that's all I need to do she says yes.. 45 minutes later my daughter calls me they won't let me get the phone. I ask to speak to who she is dealing with and it was Joe the GM I tell him I spoke with Kelly, tell him I am at work and what can be done to get the phone. He says let me speak to Kelly comes back say I'm sorry she gave you wrong information I can't give her the phone you need to bring your ID and DL here or cancel this order and we will sell her a phone on your account. Really? I go to the Verizon store right next to the mall and speak to the GM there he calls them we get the phone. Well Joe wouldn't activate the phone told my daughter since it was a pick up order they don't activate there. Call the 877 number 3 times finally someone actually looks and Joe never put the phone on my account!!! The SIM card is also bad! Take the phone to my local store they have to refund me that phone and buy a new phone all this took 3.5 hours.. All Joe the GM had to do was his JOB! Customer Service JOE. I'm glad the sale will go to my store vs the Ranch Store.. We are the reason you have a JOB with out the consumer you have no reason to be there.. read more

Please avoid this location. Michael was are consultant the other night when we had such an uncomfortable experience here.We where lied to when trying to purchase an IPhone .Michael told us we had to purchase a accessory package starting at $189.00 in order to purchase new phone .We declined and he started to seem upset,he then told us we still needed to pay the $189.00 anyway.So we declined to pay for stuff we didnt need.He went to back room and said manager will let me do this one last time without buying accessories.I would have left but my daughter wanted her phone that night.When we got home Verizon had sent email saying welcome to total mobile protection. Michael had decided to add a warranty contract to our plan without disclosing it to us.Not only were we lied to and pressured to buy stuff we didn't need but to have are contract altered by Michael without consent was just wrong.I know stats are important in sales but that was just wrong bussiness practice.
