I came in to switch from T-Mobile to Verizon, and Nate and Demetrius were a huge help! They were friendly and very patient. Nate was able to upgrade my phone, switch over my Apple Watch, and we added a wifi hotspot. They had all the answers to my questions and really made this a painless process. I wasn't sure if I wanted to buy a new phone or not even though my phone was quite a bit older and giving me a lot of problems. When I walked in the store David was very helpful. He answered all my questions, showed me the phone that would best suit my needs for the usage that I have. I went ahead and got the Google Pixel XL and a new tablet for a minimum increase in my phone bill. I love both new items. There was absolutely no pressure and he answered every question that I had. I had the worst experience with Verizon Wireless Plus in the Riverside Plaza!!! I have never ever in 55 years ever been spoken to by a salesperson or store manager the way I was today! Disrespectful, Rude, Condescending, Arrogant, Obnoxious, Demeaning and downright poor example of a manager and salesperson. I initially dealt with Heaven which was pleasant at the time I was spending money purchasing a phone. After that he told me to come to back to the store and he would help me but was a Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde when I returned because he says he was best friends with his manager. The manager was rude, unprofessional, out of line, way over the top and thought he could speak with us as if we were slaves. That's how bad the situation was! He slammed and locked the door in me and my husband's face! I'm asked Heaven if he was going to help me since he told me to come and he said NO because his manager is his best friend! I was appalled and shocked!!! I asked for the store manager's name and his Supervisor and they both refused to give me the information I requested! This behavior is totally unacceptable and brazen. It makes Verizon look very very bad! I've been a Verizon Customer for almost 20 years but this is gone too far! I have filed a Formal Complaint and also sent a Complaint to Verizon Correspondence Team in Newark, NJ! I will never ever step foot back in that store again! If Verizon chooses not to address and handle these issues appropriately; I will be forced to leave Verizon. I understand the whole COVID situation but this is inexcusable behavior! My friend and I went in to this store to add him to my plan, Zech was the rep helping us through the entire process. The switch between my friend's old provider and Verizon went extremely smooth. At first there was an issue (only on phone would ring, and the other could only send out calls/texts) but Zech troubleshooted the problem until it was fixed. MUCH APPRECIATED! I didn't intend on making any purchases, but I ended up walking out with a new iphone 8, a tablet, and a my hum system for a crazy deal I couldn't say no, the value was too good to pass up. Since this is not a real Verizon store they can not do what a real Verizon store can do. They are a privately owned Verizon store for this reason a corporate store can not fix the mistakes they have made. Was impressed with their knowledge and ability to explain the complicated process in such a clear and patient way. Would have given 5 stars except for the presentation of the store...the chairs in the store are ridiculously gross, broken, dirty, falling apart. I couldn't even lean back on one of them because of the broken side. I asked my daughter not to touch one because of how dirty it appeared. What's the one thing in the store that a customer is going to have to touch if they want to be comfortable?! After spending nearly two hours there, it was clear David the manager would have replaced the chairs a long time ago if it wasn't a corporate decision. If you can get past the ramshackle store with dirty torn carpet (which was a huge tripping hazard for my 84 year old mother-in-law) and pealing worn leather chairs, this place is pretty decent. David J. was really helpful and patient when we bought my mother-in-laws phone. She wanted a flip phone because she isn't tech savvy. David was able to show her how to use it and remained extremely patient as she asked the same questions over and over. He is very knowledgeable and accommodating of tech deficient seniors. Do yourself a favor and go to a Verizon corporate store. This store is not a corporate store, despite them having Verizon's logo on the front of the store. I went in to buy a new phone after having an S4 for five years (which finally died, if that shows you a testament to the quality of that phone and how well I took care of it). I wanted a Pixel 2 XL. The woman there sold me the phone, then told me I qualified for a free tablet. I took it because who doesn't like free things? Well after not even a week, the Pixel 2 XL began to have "screen flashing" which I can only describe as something that could possibly cause an epileptic episode. The top right corner began to have dead pixels, and then lines began to be burned into the screen. I called Verizon to figure out what was wrong, and they told me that any Verizon store could replace it under a 14 day worry free exchange. Well, I went to another store near me (I live in Apple Valley, I had been in Riverside for a birthday celebration...did I mention I bought this for myself for my birthday?) and I was told that I could only return it to that retailer because this place, despite having Verizon all over it, was not an actual Verizon store. I called customer service again, who apologized and called Verizon Wireless Plus for me to set up a time for me to come in and get my phone. They said that I could return that day (a Saturday) to return the phone, and that they spoke to someone named Gary there who knew I was coming. I returned that Saturday...only to find that not only was there not a phone available for me, but this Gary person wasn't there. Why wouldn't they set aside a phone for me if they knew I was coming? And if there were no phones, why didn't they tell the customer service rep so I wouldn't bother wasting my gas and time? They had to order a phone for me, and told me to come back next week. They said they would call me to let me know when the phone came in. So keep in mind this is two trips to Riverside from Apple Valley so far, and they were requesting a third. I went home and called Verizon AGAIN. They apologized but their hands were tied. I asked them what would happen if I got the new phone and it turned out to be another brick, and if it happened after another 14 days. They said I had bought the insurance program so I was covered. Wait, what? When did I purchase an insurance program? I checked my bill. Not only did I get signed up for an insurance program without being told, I also got signed up for a $50 loyalty program without being told (and I still don't know what that is), AND the free tablet was refurbished and came with its own fees. This tablet was as worthless as the phone! It crawled, and must've been a few years old. My Android tablet from 2012 had worked better than this thing. At this point I was having anxiety because I was being scammed by these people pretending to be Verizon. Tuesday came and I received NO CALL from these people. I had to be the one who called Wednesday. They finally called Wednesday afternoon but by that time I was done with this whole debacle. I went to the store and requested a full refund. Well, joke's on me, because they charged me $30 to restock the brick, and $70 to restock the used tablet. I asked them why, even though the items were obviously useless, and if they planned to sell it to another customer. They said yes! I then looked at my bill and said that they sure did rake in a pretty penny for running scams, and the guy said yes! I know this store is convenient and in a nice shopping area, but in the end it is not convenient. They probably keep damaged and defective stock to sell to customers knowing that they can get more money from restock fees. And in the offchance you are satisfied with your purchase, you're still paying more in hidden fees. After, I went to the corporate store in Rancho Cucamonga on the way to Apple Valley, and not only were the people much more together and helpful, but they informed me that Wireless Plus had charged me the full price for my phone, not the discount they had said I was getting, plus some. How do these people sleep at night knowing that they do this to people? TL;DR They are scam artists! read more

I just want to take a moment to say thank you to Roy at this Verizon store. My iphone was hacked and I didn't know what to do. So I came to this store and Roy took the time to help me reset all of my username and passwords and even called the Apple Store for me to report it. They then sent me a new iPhone since I did not feel comfortable using my phone that was hacked. Roy went above and beyond and turned a stressful situation into a good experience for me. Do not shop at this store. After waiting in line for 20 minutes in the heat on a very hot day at 2pm, while suffering a serious chronic medical condition, I gently knocked on the door to ask how long it might be? I literally was fine with leaving if it was going to be a while as I needed to get in air conditioning and sit down before i passed out due to chronic lyme disease. The employee came to the door angry and aggressively asking what I want after patiently waiting. He screamed to back up while he opened the door. I asked what's the problem? He ranted about the sign says 1 to 1 customer ratio. There was 2 employees and 2 customers. Certainly fair, never argued that. I simply was going to get an ETA and decide to wait or leave. Due to my medical condition, I needed to either leave or go in soon. I never was able to ask my question. The employee continued to call me entitled 3 times aggressively in my face. Now I'm concerned for my safety as this guy was clearly aggressive. I asked are you serious, this is how you treat customers? He says were an independent retailer we can refuse service. I said thats fine. At no point was I demanding he let me in, so that makes no sense. Even after I told him I am disabled he continued to call me entitled. Who would discriminate someone has a serious disability and who also who advocates for civil rights? Anyone that knows me or my family knows we have a very long history of advocating for civil rights, since Dr King Era. This employee, who happened to be Asian, took no consideration that I was about to possibly pass out if I didnt get out of the heat. Chronic lyme disease has decimated my life causing chronic fatigue and pain for 5 year straight. I sat on a metal chair outside nearby before I had to stand up because of the pain. I sat before even attempting to knock after 20 minutes of waiting. Even after knocking they ignored me for a long time. I asked his name. He told me. The employee's name "Heaven" then proceeds to say yeah I have a hard name to live up by sarcastically, continued to call me entitled once more, judged me on appearance before I could even nicely ask about how long, then winked at me while smiling as he slammed and door in my face. I bought a table a couple of weeks ago from wireless plus. The tablet froze for several hours and stayed frozen until the battery died. So I exchanged the tablet for what I thought was a another new tablet. After getting home, I go to set my gmail.com account. Only to find out that this tablet had been previously used by another person. So I called the store's manager Monday evening 8/27/18, and explained my issue. The manager said he was busy with a customer and he would call me back, and if he couldn't get back to me tonight, then he would call me in the morning, so could exchange the tablet for a new one. Well all day Tuesday no phone call from Wireless plus, not the manager or employee got back to me. After waiting all day for a response, I decided to go to Wireless plus and return all my items. After arriving at Wireless plus I was assisted by Julio. I explained my situation and told Julio that I no longer wanted to do business with his company. Julio told me that I couldn't return the tablet. I said that I didn't want the tablet anymore and was going to leave it in the store. Julio immediately got upset and said you can't leave the tablet here. I told Julio you can't make me take it if I don't want it. Julio stood up over me, in a threatening manner and yelled "I can make you take it, cause you can't leave it here." I felt intimidated, disrespected, belittled, and pushed into a hostile environment. When this man yelled as he stood up over me while I was sitting down to intimidated me and make me take this tablet that was used. When I just bought a new tablet that was defective.
