I've been going to this verizon for years and they always do a pretty good job, are never really busy and are always very helpful. That being said I had my phone stolen from my purse on Halloween and what a nightmare. I lost so many memories and other important things that really take your life to a screeching halt. Then ASHLEY the manager standing there like an angel gets me all hooked back up within 24 hours with a new phone from insurance, takes my last phone I had and put everything I had photos, personal documents and at least what could get me going again almost like it never happened. I have no clue how to do anything technical on a cell phone or computer so the fact she not only handled it all but took extra time to do everything properly even on two seprate days...with a smile on her face no less in this day and age is remarkable lol. He was very thorough with all the questions I had asked. He explained the differences in the iPhones and the picture qualities; what would best be suited for my needs; what would be more cost efficient for me. My experience with the Verizon Store located at 638 Camino de Los Mares, San Clemente Ca. 92673 I will supply the details below but in a nutshell, I would suggest you NOT go to this store and NOT deal with these people unless you want to get sold something that you didn't ask for and lose all of your data and information from your existing phone if you upgrade to a new phone. 1) I came in for two Google phones and was sold 2 phones that are another brand. 2) ALL of the Data (including apps, files and other pertinent information) from our old phones was supposedly transferred to our new phones but instead, ALL of our apps were deleted. There was no way to fix this because all the information on our old phones was immediately DELETED and "wiped clean" prior to our inspection of the new phones. 3) All of my contacts have been jumbled into a mess and additionally nearly a hundred NEW contacts were added that we didn't have before data was moved to the new phones. There is no way to fix this because all the information on our old phones was immediately DELETED and "wiped clean" prior to our inspection of the new phones. 4) We each had 20 - 25 separate files of our photos that were sorted on our previous phones and ALL of our photos were dumped into one mass file on our new phones and many photos are missing. There was no way to fix this because all the information on our old phones was immediately DELETED and "wiped clean" prior to our inspection of the new phones. 5) All of our saved text messages have been deleted. We had saved many important text messages on our phones, assuming that they would transfer over to the new phones. There was no way to fix this because all the information on our old phones was DELETED and "wiped clean" prior to our inspection of the new phones. 6) Verizon did not remove the two SD cards out of our two old phones after we specifically told them to transfer both SD cards into the new phones. The phones were immediately shipped off to corporate the day after we purchased the new phones so they are saying that there is no way to fix this either. The manager asked me to send him an email through one of his employees because he was not in and he didn't have the time to speak with me on the telephone, and he left two or three hours early from work today. So rather than sending him an email I thought I would communicate this way so I wouldn't have to repeat myself if I ever do get to meet with this manager whose name I believe is Chris. History: I initially came in to the Verizon store on April 28th or 29th at which time I started talking to a salesperson. I simply told him I was interested in the new Google phone and that my son, who is my "Technical adviser" said that this was probably the best phone I can get at this time. The salesperson went in and got a phone and started showing us the phone. He said this was one of the best phones out there today. I told him we would likely get two of these Google phones. We decided to get two phones. (He seemed to set the account up well and saved us some money from our previous plan). He then said that we could come back later that evening to pick up the phones after he transferred the data and the SD card over to the new phones. We confirmed that he could move all of our photos files and contacts over to the new phones. We came back later that evening and picked up the two phones and went home. The next day I begin to look at the phones in the morning and I realized that: 1) All of my apps are missing and ;p 2) All of my contacts are completely messed up and more than a hundred more contacts had been added from somewhere like Instagram, Facebook or Gmail and; 3) Many of my photos have disappeared, and the photos that were there had all been placed into ONE large file on both the new phones. On our old phone, they had all been in separate files and we had 25 to 30 different files sorted for photos and; 4) We began trying to recover our lost files and to see how the phone functioned and realized then, that we cannot find our SD cards on the phones file system. I didn't want to open the phone to check because I assumed that the SD cards were there and I did not want to void the warranty by opening the phone. Bottom Line, ALL THE DATA AND PHOTOS AND MESSAGES HAD BEEN DELETED FROM OUR OLD PHONES. They also sent the SD cards from our old phones "off to corporate" and they said they could not get them back. This whole situation with Verizon has been a fiasco. I sought out what I thought was a professional Company to help me with the purchase of new phones and it all went very BAD !!!!!! I suggest you go ELSEWHERE to buy a phone !!!!!! (BTW - I set 4 letters to corporate so far to find a solution and all of my letter were ignored thus far.) read more

I went in to buy a new phone, I wanted to pay cash because I didn't want a service contract. The manager, Irving, sold me a phone but then suggested that I should get a tablet also. I didn't want a tablet but he said he could get me a $40 rebate from my old phone take off a couple hundred dollars of the price of the tablet, and it would even work where there is no Wi-Fi on the cell network, and only about five bucks a month with no service contract. I get the first bill and it's $20 a month for the tablet and says I have a two-year contract. I call Verizon and they basically tell me too bad, this place is Independence store and I have to talk to them. I go see Irving and he says he'll get me $15 off my monthly bill but on my next bill, there is no discount. I had to pay $135 cancellation fee after Verizon waived the $40 setup fee, so the tablet I didn't need cost me over 200 bucks. Bought 2 iphones at this store, the salesperson said he was going to give me a lot of discounts and free case and screen protector, but ended up having all the charges on my credit card, which means he didn't give us anything at all, just lied all the way through. Worst experience ever! Ashley G basically bamboozled me and rushed me into getting a phone and a "bundle" that I didn't want, despite me having an appointment. She told me I had to by the $130 bundle which I found out later wasn't true. The transfer to my new phone didn't go through, she blamed it on AT&T giving me the wrong port pin, so she had me take both phones home to bring back in the morning. Prior to me paying $230 for who knows what I told her I just wanted to forget it all and have my old phone back with AT&T but she said it was "too late" and would have to exchange my new phone instead if I was unhappy (which I found out later was also untrue). So I went home and viewed my bill and saw some customer service agreements and a monthly bill that was $50 higher than she promised that was signed, but NOT BY ME!!! It included an insurance plan that I denied in the store. I reported this to the district manager and they seemed relatively unconcerned. I returned my phone and bundle the next morning. But I wonder how many other people this has happened to? The district manager, Ethan, offered nothing else than my ability to return the phone after all of my troubles. I immediately go to my bank got a hundred bucks out of the ATM.weng over the Verizon on Los Mares to make a payment. To pay the bill. This was at 11:45 on Wednesday 12-17-14. I walked in to the Verizon store and met Mark. I had already decided I was leaving AT&T and wanted to discuss other options other than another iPhone. Not too long after with lots of questions, I decided on a plan and the Google pixel 3. I was hesitant to try and finally leave the iPhone world but Mark assured me I'd have no problems transferring my apps and phone book right there in the store. He was knowledgeable about androids owning one himself, and put me at ease about the transition. I'm very pleased with the phone and have walked in un announced several times to ask questions and recently transfer my music over to the new phone because I couldn't figure it out. Dishonest, dishonest, dishonest! I upgraded 3 iPhones at this store in December 2017. Additionally, I purchased cases, screen covers, and two wireless chargers. After returning home, reading my new agreement on the Verizon Wireless web site and examining my store receipt, I discovered they had added insurance coverage to each phone without my knowledge or consent. This would have added up to about $400 per year If I hadn't caught it. They had also charged a total of $59.97 in "Set up and Go" fees that had never been mentioned to me. Additionally, they had not given me a promised 50% discount for the second wireless charger. Unfortunately I hadn't read the many negative the reviews posted on Yelp and Google before patronizing this store. I naively thought by choosing to do my family's iPhone upgrades at this store rather than through the Apple Store or Costco I was supporting a local mom and pop Verizon dealer. Wrong. This Verizon dealer, Victra, is owned by a company based out of North Carolina with over 1100 stores. After doing some research I discovered there are many similar complaints many of this company's stores. These dishonest and deceptive sales practices appear to be part of their business model. Seena and Shayna rocked my world putting my sim card back in my phone. The store was busy with complex problems and they were able to restore my faith in humanity but getting my phone together. It still needs some completion from Apple Support but remember these guys are not a corporate store so they are proving you can get service from a Franchise THey were able to handle multiple complex problems at once. Remember there money comes from selling but a good service person is a good sales person. Give them a shot.. Update: Went in there tonight and the 140 boys were as knowledgeable and helpful as always. I came here because I was due for an upgrade on my phone. I had asked John for a iPhone 6 in white but He told me the Rose gold was discounted so I just went with that (I found out later it was the same price) He then told me it's going to be 190 upfront for my phone so I paid for it and once I got home I realized he stuffed my Verizon bag with accessories I never asked for? (Car charger, cleaning kit, he even stuck a 50$ screen case on my phone without asking & charged me for it) I realized later that the 190 went towards all the accessories and not towards my phone. It blows my mind that someone can be so desperate for commission that they charge people for things they never asked for. Not to mention he added me on Facebook and another social media site which is also extremely unprofessional. Before I left he had the nerve to tell me to "give him a good Yelp review" you out of your mind boy ? He later awkwardly refunded me for all the accessories but I'm obviously still annoyed I had to go through all of this. I should have checked Yelp reviews before going in, but because I was in a rush I didn't have the time. I see now that he has a few other complaints! I'm Not sure why he isn't fired yet. OMG.. I walked in with a problem 0n my phone. A worker named Russell came up to me and asked if he could help. I told him I was getting a message every time I went to Google play store and can not get around it. I went to the message of interest which had 2 choices.. "Cancel" or Enable". As I was telling him I have tried everything I could think of... He pressed the "Enable" choice and handed the phone back to me saying.... "All you had to do was select 'Enable"!!!! I asked him if I looked that stupid. And showed him that did NOT work. He became upset and sent me over to Ehren (sp?) who after several minutes was able to fix the problem. This guy Russel has been there a while and I have gone in there prior to this and he definitely has an attitude. Also the music was playing very loud.
