Had to port a line from AT&T to my new Verizon account, and figured corporate store would handle it easier and with less chance for error than trying to do it by phone. Call up store and they had iPhone 4 in stock, the manager was extremely helpful on the phone and said she'd take of it in the store the next day. Next day the manager was busy helping 3 or 4 different people, but another employee did help us very quickly and had us ported, activated, and on our way with minimal fuss and no unforced errors. Overall a very pleasant experience, especially given some of the negative reviews here. Maybe they hired a new manager who hired some new workers and turned the place around since then, as my experience was very good, a very pleasant surprise indeed. read more

Later found out from customer service I am now under a 2 year contract with a $170 cancelation fee. One of the less crowded Verizon stores I have been too. This one is recently remodeled and very spacious. It is now facing Douglas Blvd, so easy to find and there is plenty of parking. The staff was nice and Brandon, the sales guy who helped my sister and me, was quick and even took the time to put the screen shield on my new phone. Originally, this was going to be a super negative review, but they managed to turn it around. I originally went to another VZW location, but found out that they did not have the item in stock that I needed. But good news: the Douglas Blvd location does. Sweet! So, I head over and check in. I explain to the girl - Heather maybe? - that I had waited at the other store for 30 minutes only to find out once it was my turn that my desired item was not in stock, so I asked if it would be possible for her to check to see if they had it before I wasted another 30 minutes. She resisted and explained over and over that I would still have to wait. I GET IT - but that is not my point - CAN YOU PLEASE FREAKING CHECK FOR THE PART?!? Eventually, she got someone to check for me - actually she asked two guys - the first one ignored her. But, the 2nd one found it - yay! I have no problem waiting - I get the system. Within about 5 minutes, it's like a light bulb went off in her head - or perhaps her Red Bull kicked in - either way, she started getting a little proactive with getting people helped and out the door. I managed to get helped and was on my way in the next 5 minutes. read more

Went to this Verizon a couple of times at this store and always nice to deal with friendly people. This visit was due to upgrades for my husband is as well as bringing my son's phone over from a different carrier. Miguel was very helpful and showed us a couple different phones and what they could do. Never pushing us into either one; dealing with sales people can be frustrating. We were there for a couple of hours just with the transferring of phones and phone info. Even a couple associates worked with Miguel to help get us out the door faster. Teamwork is great to see. my problem is not with an actual store front, but the main customer service itself. I called to ask questions about prices, etc for getting a new phone and was told that I can get a better deal by ordering online- over the phone and as an added bonus I would not have to actually go into a store and wait in line. so, I ordered a phone with accessories on a Wednesday. it is not the next Wednesday of the next week. some of the accessories arrived when expected, but not the phone. unfortunately my account does show that the phone was delivered. I have been speaking with customer service and while they do apologize, they can not find the phone! don't even think it has been shipped yet a week later. also missing the bonus great price speaker. ordering online - over the phone is not the way to go. read more

My husband purchased a new IPhone 7 Plus for me this past week after I waited several years to upgrade. We were sold additional merchandise that we later regretted, and my husband returned it today. There was a $35 restocking fee that my husband was not made aware of, but because he signed by the restocking policy unknowingly, the store manager, Alma, refused to waive it! Alma could have waived the fee as the item was still in the box, never opened, and completely new - we were told by the associate who sold us the merchandise that we had a 14 day return policy. Upon opening Yelp, we saw that this store only has a 2.5 star rating, and there is obviously a reason! We will NOT return to this store!! read more

I realize stores are busy after the holidays but this location is the worst. We were told 20 to 25 minutes for our wait. After waiting over an hour while watching others being helped before us that came in after us, we finally asked what was taking so long. They didn't even have us on the list, even though we gave them the requested info when we entered. They said there must have been another person with the same name on the list that was helped instead of us. What a load of garbage. They had our phone number and account so total waste of time. 13 months ago Bought a Samsung phone and returned it the next day and exchanged it for another phone. In addition to the payment plan on the new phone, Verizon added the payment plan for the returned phone to another (already paid for) phone on my account. On top of that they added$17/month insurance on the phone we did not have. I've spent at least 8 hours on the phone and in person in the Verizon store trying to get it straightened out with at least 6 or 7 Verizon employees and Verizon just will not or are incapable of getting this corrected. As a matter of fact, instead of crediting me the overcharge, Verizon actually ADDED part of the overcharge rather than credit it to me. Verizon now owes me almost $1000 and simply refuses to correct the situation. We're getting constant automated calls telling us we are past due and are facing penalties. This has been going on for 13 months!! Please note every employee spoken to was nice and courteous, but just completely useless. IF YOU ARE TRYING TO DECIDE TO GO WITH VERIZON OR ANOTHER CARRIER, STAY AWAY FROM VERIZON. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON EXISTANT. read more

Mike found my700 contacts, removed the 400 duplicate contacts, found all my music and switched services between my daughters 2 phones...ALL w/in 40 min, with a smile on his face! Went through the process of switching to Verizon due to the fact that I needed a better hotspot Internet plan because in my area you don't get any internet other than satellite and satellite is so extremely slow. Also it doesn't really work very well, needless to say once I got Verizon internet it actually worked until I get to my allowance of data which was 30 gigs once you go over the 30 gigs though it drops to less than 909 bytes a second which is absolutely ridiculous. I understand slowing me down to maybe one megabyte or two megabytes of second but this is absolutely ludacris! This doesn't even barely run Internet at all. I can use Netflix if I'm lucky and sometimes YouTube. Why pay for this this? This is all because net neutrality went away and now these people are gouging everybody on the internet. When I contacted customer service they told me I could buy another 5 gigabytes for $35!?! Absolutely insane!!! These people are bending us over for our money just so that we can get a lame internet service and if there was anybody else in my area I would immediately switch to them. Unfortunately I am stuck with Verizon as they're the only service provider in my area at this time. However more are moving to my area and when the competition gets here I will be promptly switching! What is the point of a 14 day "if your not satisfied for ANY reason bring it back and we will replace it", if you are not going to live up to the slogan, don't say it. The staff here at the Douglas store are worthless robots trying to get people in and out of the store. If the phone doesnt work, replace it and move on, otherwise you will have me back in store every day until you do. This was the worst customer service I have ever had ! The manager dayne is a total jerk and couldn't help me at al! 1st waited to even be spoken to for 40 min 2nd got to the counter and they said my problem could only be taken care of through customer care on the phone that they in the store couldn't help me even though I told manager Sean at the door what we were there for 40 min ago . 3rd then after being on the phone forever the frustration began to mount as we were passing an hour now ... When dayne suggested a plan that would help us "save money each month " for $310 for 30g data when we were currently paying around $260 tell me how that makes sense why when j don't want to pay anymore would help to switch to $310 he said "that way you won't go over on data" but who cares if we go over and stil pay less than $310 currently total snakes here !!! There were two other customers who were next to me who also could not believe the horrible service they got !!!! I will never go back here i evaded up leaving and getting on the phone w Verizon customer service and after another hour got my problem resolved the whole time apologizing saying that they should have been able to take care of the issue in store we also set up a new plan that will be $223 now a month wow ! This store and it's rude staff should go out of business and yes you also rosa who continuously rolled her eyes at my problems and should have gotten a manager right away. My daughter and I were in line for the new iPhone 6 and let me tell you it wasn't bad until the workers started to let in their buddy's before the customers that were waiting since 6 am or earlier. A few of us complain and they had an excuse to why they were letting them in, which was bull**** excuses. When it was our turn we asked if we could upgrade one of our lines from a basic plan (flip phone) to a data plan (new iPhone 6) and later cancel the upgrade back to basic plan and use the new phone on a different line and they said yes that I had 14 days to do cancel the plan. Well the information given to me was incorrect because now that I tired to cancel the data plan back to basic they wouldn't allow me too. First I would have to return the phone in order to cancel and pay for restocking fees Their employees really need proper training before having them sell phones on a busy day like today. I have been a loyal customer with Verizon for 14 years and to have to go through all this because of their employees mistake! I think that's poor customer service on their end. Talk about not going back to them again for business. Now I'm looking into other phone company's that will suit us better. I guess they don't care to loose my account with 5 phones on it. We walk in and there's an employee standing right in front of us. He doesn't say hello, smile or anything. Instead he says 'she can help you' and points to a female staff member. Way to welcome me and my 80+ year old dad to the store! The female was knowledgeable and pleasant but I feel completely ripped off. I decided to go with the accessories bundle which included a screen protector. She offered to put it on the phone and there were bubbles and dust that you could feel under the flimsy sticker protector that they charge $40 for! I was actually surprised she gave it back to me like that but she said the bubbles would go away once the phone heats up after being used. They didn't. We took it back for them to redo and they said they are NOT allowed to install the screen protectors (so why offer?!?). They did replace it but it is seriously a piece of sh*t. No way is it worth $40 and we couldn't even install it ourselves because it's a flimsy sticker that curls and is impossible to get flat on the phone. This was the ZAGG Ultra Visionguard. You can get much better screen protectors for a fraction of the price on Amazon, and don't have to deal with rude employees. read more

A very positive experience. Was quite nervous about going given multiple negative reviews of this store. The Greeter was genuinely pleasant and let me know when I was next in line for a Rep. The Solutions Manager (Alma) was extremely personable and helpful as was the Service Rep. They were very gracious in letting me use their phone to contact Samsung Tech Support. While they tried several procedures to fix the problem with my phone, they were unsuccessful. When I said I'd be going to the Samsung Experience Store for one more try they totally understood and were not 'put out' that they'd spent the time trying to fix the problem. First time customer of Verizon. Switched from Sprint to increase our particular coverage areas. Had been with AT&T before that. All wireless stores are really busy. However, setting an appointment and working with Mark Randall at the Roseville Douglas Blvd store was really painless. We had a total of 3 appointments for different things and got in and handled every time. We were greeted by other store personnel when we arrived. Mark and Verizon allowed us to more than adequately test the service areas we were concerned about. Mark knew his stuff, was very professional and efficient. So let me begin by saying i went to this location because i was in the area. i had purchased the new 5s at the Folsom location. and my experience there was excellent. Unfortunately the Roseville location was lacking in a lot of areas. I stopped in to look at cases and screen protectors because i left in a hurry from the other location. I dont know what it was about the roseville location...maybe it was my outfit (i had just got out of the gym) or maybe it was tattoos that projected me as hoodlum or some one with no money. But i was not acknowledged at all by anyone. i understand it was the first day the 5s was released and it was busy but at least at the Folsom location i was acknowledged and kindly greeted. The roseville location had zero customer service!! I would like to thank the kind employee who looked at me with a blank stare and said nothing to me. I was going to purchase a case but thanks to your awesome people skills i left emptied handed. I will never go in here again! which is a shame as i live near by in granite bay. read more

If negitive stars could be a review, Verizon would get that . I know there past contracts more then there current employees . I had Surewest that was bought out by Verizon, this happened in i believe 2008 . The Surewest contracts were giving a option to opt out and would not be charged a cancelation fee since Verizon was changing my plan to minutes instead of the unlimited plan i had, i chose to opt out by the window they gave me . I opted out and thought that was the end of it, WRONG .... then i got bills for canceling . i called to explain that i am able to opt out because i was with Surewest the lady says she will fix it . I think its over ...... WRONG they sent it to a collection agency for $400 something dollars . I call them again and they dont even know anything about Surewest when i call and they tell me they cant do anything about it because its been sent to a collection agency . Its 2014 and finally got it resolved with the collection agency 6 years later, i been getting bills for 6 years !!!! . The customer service is complete sh*t, they have no clue what they are doing and i had to explain my story 100 times and they still didt get it or what i was talking about with Surewest or that i was giving a option to opt out . Every person i spoke to would not help me even managers , 6 years getting collection notices because of there goof !!!!! And they have yet to say they are sorry, i wont hold my breath . minus 5 stars is my review read more
