I am a bit of a pizza snob- part of growing up in an Italian Community in an East Coast city. My reference is thin crust with a good balance of crunch and chew, a tomato sauce base that is well developed and doesn't taste like tomato paste, and good quality cheese that doesn't feel or taste like it is part plastic. A tall order, right? I was delighted to find that Veraci has really good pizza, at least the ones that I have tried. This pizza shop is really cute and fast! You can sit down or just buy a slice. The pizza is brick oven fired, and the huge pizza oven is right there where you can see the pizzas being made. If you want OK pizza but have no expectation that they will get your order correct, eat here. I gave them a second chance after they completely messed up my order a month ago and they could not even get it right this time. Fortunately, we checked when we were in the car so I did not have to go all the way back again. Burnt crust and just OK pizza. It's hard for me to give pizza a 5 star rating... i think it's because I have high expectations. Veraci however exceeded them. I brought a hungry crew of 6 and ordered 3 pies. It was a bit spendy, but myself and my roommate had leftovers for lunch the next day. My opinion? I can't remember the name of it... but they had something with with garlic, onion, salami and Flagship cheese from Seattle... it was phenomenal. read more

Best fire oven thin crust pizza we have found in the area. Great flavor in the crust and the toppings. The waiters and waitresses are always friendly and knowledgeable. We moved here a year ago and this is our favorite place to stop for lunch after cycling on the centennial. It is always a stop when friends and relatives are in town. read more

Decor and ambience were ok, service was good and our server was very friendly. Pizza was very mediocre however. First the crust was paper thin, not very tasteful, and slightly burnt. Despite being charred around the edges the rest of the pizza was barely lukewarm and the flavor was about average. Disappointed in the pizza, service was decent. read more

Sometimes you want a salad with your pizza, so we got a full caesar salad with chicken and bacon... very unhappy, the chicken was essentially deli-sliced turkey and microwaved bacon strips. We love the pizza, however, so that is what we'll be ordering from now on read more

If this place is not busy, I would definitely go back. Really tasty pizza (dough could be more cooked in the middle though), friendly people, good atmosphere, comfortable seating outside (inside chairs not too comfortable). For two of us, from the time we asked for a table to when we got food was 1 hour 45 minutes. Front desk estimate on wait time was 30 minutes, it actually took about 1 hour. read more

I'm sure the pizza is among the best spokane has to offer. However we never found out. The incredibly rude and bitchy hostess told us the hours were printed on the door. And her co worker told us that if we wanted to order it to go, we could. A business, in most parts of the world, is open until its open. They are there to make money. Not to worry about their employees social life. If they need to clean up around you while you're eating. Fine. But you don't let high school girls run your establishment replete with a bad trailer park attitude. And that's what is happening. If I were the owner I would be furious. Unless of course those are his daughters who work at the front. And then. Never mind. Go to so. Perry Street pizza or anywhere else who treats you with resoect and avoid the heartache and abuse. Still waiting for a table for no reason. Several tables are open. There is clearly nobody in charge. The hostesses are working hard. Only a couple of the servers are. There are literally 3 servers discussing something at the register now. They are in a state of confusion. It is not overly busy. The only reason we went here is b/c other places were packed. I want to love this place. The vibe is cool and the view is beautiful but the pizza is over priced. It's good pizza but there's not much of a crust and when your paying nearly $23 for a thin ok pizza it's just not worth it. I'd drink beer there to enjoy the view though. read more

I'm still laughing at Eric P's single-star and partially illiterate review. Among other things, he criticized the wall art and the positioning of the TV's wall mount, and then instructed readers not to bother trying out the place, and to go to Flying Goat or Fire, instead. I only care about food, drink, customer service, and sometimes atmosphere. We sat out on their covered deck overlooking the river valley on a hot, dry Saturday afternoon, and then took a walk on the Centennial Trail to the waterfalls. The customer service was great. We tried a slice (quarter pie for $4.75) of their daily-special vegetable pizza, not currently on the menu, and it was fantastic. They appear to try to always have a variety of four different kinds of slices available to choose from. One can see them and those that are cooking in their large (wood fired??) stone oven immediately after walking in their front door. The pizzas all appear to be "gourmet" style, thin, lightly-crusted varieties. We also tried a Mediterranean orzo pasta salad, and a half Mediterranean/Greek green salad--both were fantastic, and relatively large. They have a modest selection of beers and wine. I believe there are liquors, as well, unless that was a separate attached establishment that shared the outside deck; it may have been just the "bar" section of this place. The lemonade/iced-tea soft drink I had was very average, for whatever reason. read more

I absolutely love this place . Tonight the featured pizza was the Bottelli Bandito which was a dedication to an amazing man in Spokane! The Caesar salad here is the best I have ever had and the dressing is lemon forward and so delicate and tasteful. Just tried out the new brick and mortar store for lunch. The location is amazing. The view has to be one of the best in Spokane and the outdoor seating looks great. I think this is the best pizza in town. I once did a week tour of New York City and hit a lot of the most famous pizza places. Veraci is the closest thing to Grimaldi's in Brooklyn that I've tasted since that trip. It is a five star place for sure. I can see that some may not like this ultra thin crust, but of you like the real New York style pizza, this is by far the best place in town. They had a bar as well, not sure if they serve hard liquor or not. Nice bar style seating for people not in a big group against the window facing a view of downtown Spokane and the Spokane River. They had a big selection of pies by the slice, but we ordered our own pizza, which was fresh with great quality toppings. I will be back many times I'm sure. read more
