    Avocado toast

A small restaurant inside Terminal A in SLC offering bowls featuring grains, veggies, and proteins. They won't swap ingredients in the bowls (I wanted the poke with rice, not couscous and they couldn't do it). I ended up with avocado toast and a side of poke. It wasn't a hearty meal for my $20, but it was tasty enough.

Nasty. The workers were more worried more about getting my order than customer service. I had to figure out where the spoons and forks were. No help from the two workers behind the corner. The portions were not what was expecting. But honestly the food was nasty anyways.

I love a spot that knows their flavors. I was surprised to find a place that had such delicious food at such affordable prices for an airport. The bowls are fresh and colorful and absolutely delicious. There are many options and proteins to choose from. They are quick because they build your bowl assembly style. I had the Utah Bowl ($14) - it had shredded chicken on top of this amazing sweet potato hash and cilantro sauce. It did not feel healthy because it was so large but of course I ate it all. Best airport food I'd ever had.

Big bowl of food for $15. Staff pretty friendly but there was an overhanging feeling of disorganization. Had to wait for coffee to brew, which took more than 10 minutes. While I was waiting, they ran out of beef, but continued to take orders for it?, just requiring a lot of refunds and order changes. Early morning light reflects off the terminal floor and makes it almost impossible to sit at the counter which faces that way. Seating is very tight; not helped by singles taking all the four tops. Food was tasty and reasonably priced. Fortunately I was early enough to not be bothered by the minor delays.

    Uncle Rico, chicken + grains

When you're traveling on a plan especially a long flight, a good meal is even more important. We were on a layover and noticed Vessel Kitchen and their menu looked great. You order at the counter and they load the bowls for you, just takes a few minutes. We got two bowls - the chicken + grains bowl and the uncle Rico with chicken and mashed potatoes. Both bowls were definitely tasty. Hot, fresh, and flavorful. Great combination of ingredients. The only reason I'm taking one star off is because I had 1-2 undesirable "crunch" in my quinoa bowl which was unappetizing. Hopefully they can be more careful going forward.

Managing to find good food in the airport?? Next to impossible but Vessel defies that! We had several hour layover in SLC and we were super thankful to find some good food! You can build your own bowl but I opted for one of the pre made options which was the Uncle Rico. This was delicious! I loved the mashed potatoes and the sauce was so good and the pork was tender! Is it pricey? Yeah but I mean I think overall for the price its not that bad especially for airport food and it was delicious! If you're looking for a meal while waiting in the airport, stop by Vessel!!

I recently flew through Salt Lake City and had a 3-hour layover. I decided to treat myself to a nice lunch at Vessel to spend some time. I normally get their chicken grain bowl which is absolutely fantastic, but I saw they recently updated their menu and it wasn't available. In its place, I decided to try their Utah Bowl which came with Al Pastor chicken thighs, sweet potatoe hash, pepita lime vinaigrette, Israeli Pico, and micro cilantro. I also decided to add the spicy Korean broccoli for freshness. The bowl came generously filled with fresh sweet potatoes, a generous helping of chicken and a delicious vinaigrette that brought everything together. The pickled onions on top also added a pallet cleanser for this rich meal. As for the spicy broccoli, I was really hoping for some spice but to me it didn't have any heat. What it did add was great freshness and crunch which I appreciated. Vessel is always a winner at this airport.

Some of the best quick airport food anywhere. Doesn't give you a heavy feeling on the plane. Only ones ordering so I had fun talking to the staff. Food was prepared and ready just as soon as I ordered (quicker than I was able to swipe my card). Very tasty. Open to the terminal, you are not going to sit for very long.

Healthy and hearty! Located near gates A26+, it's a great place to stop, sit down at the many tables, and eat a meal. This place is apparently very popular, so I had to try it! I got the hash hash, which is braised beef, sweet potatoes, pickled onions, harissa sauce, smoked feta, and lemon ricotta creama, and then I added Brussels sprouts on top. Delicious, and I feel so healthy! They give a decent amount, so much that I could probably save half for lunch tomorrow. Ordering and getting the food was very fast, and the cashier was nice.

This is one of the healthiest, freshest, and tastiest airport food eateries I've visited in a long time. For $14, I got the Al Pastor Chicken, brussel sprouts, Sweet Potato Hash...then I paid an extra $4 for Falafel. All of this was yummy! I just wish the food portions were larger...after 90mins(I had a 2.5 hour layover) I ran over to Shake Shack to grab a burger cause I was getting hungry again. I will admit I'm 6-2 200lbs with a big appetite, so for most average humans it's probably enough food. Friendly service, and clrean, nice modern seating area.

We easily made reservations and found street parking about a block away. We started with some delicious cocktails--the Lady Pleaser and Paper Plane--which were both delicious. We had the bread with whipped cheese and hot honey along with the grilled caesar salad and crudo for appetizers. They were all beautifully presented and delicious but the caesar blew us away and was one of our favorite bites of the night. We got a few more cocktails to enjoy with dinner--the Mezzin' Around and a gin, mint, and lime drink I forgot the name of. We enjoyed both of these as well. For entrees, I got the carbonara and my husband got the squid ink pasta with lobster. I've never seen more beautifully presented pasta dishes in my life. The flavor matched the beauty too--and the portions were good enough to take half home. My husband was incredibly happy with all the lobster in his pasta. We took a raspberry tiramisu home, which was also delicious. The bill came to $208 before tip, which matched the quality of the food and restaurant experience. I'm excited to come back and try other things as I believe the menu changes regularly.
