    Seating nearby Vesta
    Kristin S.

I had to stop by Durango to pick something up and wanted to grab my morning coffee. I do like going to Vesta downtown. This one is nice because it's not super busy and plenty of seating nearby to relax. I got the died Macademia - Almond Latte. I'm glad the barista mentioned it come unsweetened bc I did need a little sweetener. But overall always a great latte at any of their locations. I do wish they had som vegan pastry options other than me walking around the casino to find something to eat.

Had the vanilla cardamom at Vesta Coffee inside Durango Resort Casino and it was delicious. Smooth, flavorful, and perfectly made. Great coffee spot--will be back.

Beautiful coffee spot in the food hall inside the Durango Resort and Casino. Coffee was delicious and we tried the milk and honey toast. I like this option for coffee instead of the trendy popular, you know that coffee company. I certainly support local coffee houses and this spot also had lots of food options. I tried the Orange Hojicha Spice Latte. Nice flavor. Hubby got the Cortado. A good reliable coffee spot for a pick me up! Service was friendly and with smiles!

Located in the Durango Casino. Just had lunch and needed something warm for my belly. Saw the the froot loops latte on the menu, and didn't hesitate to place an order, so glad I did because this latte was just what I wanted. It tasted like a dessert. Clean coffee shop, great selection of unique drinks. So friendly! Lots of tables to sit.

2/27/2024- After having a great lunch, what better way to stop and try this coffee spot.. I could see why the 5 stars... Picked up cold iced hazelnut maple and a churro cruffin.. Not a big churro fan, but it was really good.. Not too sweet and has both the cruffin and churro likeness... Hoping to grab a bag of coffee to take home!

While taking a quick tour around the 'Eat Your Heart Out' food hall, I was happy to see that Vesta Coffee Roasters is located smack-dab in the middle. The coffee shop is front and center, you can't miss it. The space is narrow, but wide, with a dedicated spot to place your order and a separate pick-up section on the opposite end. I've been to the DT location so I'm familiar with their usual offerings (e.g., coffee, tea, pastries, sandwiches). I also appreciate their seasonal menu; it gives customers something to look forward to when the seasons change. During my last visit, I had the following drinks: * Caramac with oat milk (iced) - this is supposed to imitate the flavors of Hawaii's beloved Chocolate/Caramel/Macadamia nut candy. It includes: Espresso, Chocolate Caramel, Macadamia-Almond Milk, and Hawaiian Sea Salt. I surprised my husband with this drink, and he liked it. I thought it was delicious, I'd 100% order this again when it's available. * Chai latte with oat milk (warm) - I asked the barista to not steam the milk too hot, and it was the perfect temperature. It was a very cozy, comforting, and yummy drink. If you're looking for a delicious caffeine boost, Vesta Coffee Roasters is a great place to get your fix.

This review is for the food hall location, which is apparently different from the hotel lobby location. Vesta Coffee Roasters started in the Arts District and expanded to The Lakes before partnering with Durango Casino & Resort. I stopped by their location in the Eat Your Heart Out Hall of Foods today, which was day two of the entire casino being open. They were a lot less busy at the time than the other food hall spots were, and we quickly ordered and received our items. This was my first time trying Vesta. The Cappuccino ($4.50) wasn't too bad, with reasonable coffee flavor toward the middle and backend, but I was more interested in the Nitro Cold Brew ($6.00). I loved it. It was really smooth and bitterness-free. I also enjoyed the croissants which we ordered. They warmed the croissants up for us to enjoy at any nearby counter seat or table, which thankfully weren't fully packed as they must've been last night. They didn't have the Butter Croissant at the time, although they appeared to replenish their stock later in the day. Instead, we got an "All The Things" ($5.50) croissant, which is inspired by an everything bagel. The croissant was buttery and fluffy, and the seasonings were reminiscent of said bagel, although it was harder to get the seasonings evenly in every bite. Sometimes I only tasted butter croissant, and sometimes I got a salt bomb. I did like the light garlicky cream cheese which they served with it, but the butter seemed to drown out any of the subtle cheese flavor. The Almond Croissant ($6.50) is pretty good. There's a very generous helping of confectioner's sugar on top, but it's not that sweet in the end. It has almond paste in the middle too. It's not as airy as the other croissant though, and it's not as stunning as other almond croissants around town. Vesta is a solid option if you want coffee or croissants. I have yet to try their sandwiches or salads in the future, but I'd recommend Vesta if you're near one and want what they offer.

This was a pretty okay place, located inside the hotel lobby. The coffee was pretty good. The pastries looked amazing, but they were mediocre. Bought some beans as gifts. Clean environment. Friendly staff. All in all, wouldn't run to go back.

    Hawaiian Benedict Sandwich

Went here on a Saturday morning. Heard some great things about their coffee; it did not disappoint. The macadamia almond latte was smooth. You could taste the macadamia in the drink which isn't usually the case at most places. I got mine sweetened, and I'm glad I did. It was soo good. My husband got the camp smore latte. That was good too. We ordered the truffle croissant with bacon and the Hawaiian Benedict. I was little nervous about the Hawaiian Benedict sandwich, thinking the spam was going to make it salty and the bread was going to be thick and dense. But I'm glad it was all the opposite. The bread was fluffy and flaky like a croissant. The flavors all melded well together. The Truffle Croissant with bacon was my favorite. It melts in your mouth and makes you want to eat more. I took stars away though because of the service. The staff did not look happy to be at work. They didn't seem motivated to help. They continually looked down as patrons walked up. With this location being in a casino, you're going to run in to people who have questions. I saw people walk up, look at staff and wait for someone to acknowledge them, but then walked away. Even when they took orders, no smile, nothing. Just robotic and monotone. Even then, you don't need to be bubbly or anything, but don't appear like you're only there to collect a check. Great coffee and food will only take a business so far. I'm hoping I just happened to come in on an off day for the staff.

Friendly service... I stopped and got me a hot green tea.. real chill coffee shop vibe in the food hall.. Plenty of tea, coffee and pastries to choose from.. This is a good spot for a meeting or getting a quick bite while on the move.. Super friendly staff and quick service.

    Matcha Latte and Salmon Toast
    Dali V.

Yummy! I ordered a hot matcha latte with oat milk and vanilla ($8) and the salmon toast ($12). The latte was not too sweet and the toast was well balanced. I went at 9/10am and there was plenty of seating in the food hall. They also have authentic, ippodo matcha from japan at market price. I want to go back to try some of that and some of the seasonal/chef's specials items next time.

Loved Vesta so much and glad I stopped by on a whim. I ordered the Froot loops matcha drink and it was perfection. I went back twice in one day just for that. I also appreciated that they had a nice variety of pastries and food options. I tried the banana with miso glaze bread and it was good but probably would've been better warmed up. Really hoping the Froot Loops matcha is a permanent menu item the next time I visit.

Very excited Vesta has continued to expand their delicious business to not one but TWO locations inside the Durango Casino. At the Food Hall, we walked up to the glass counter met by friendly staff and amazing fresh pastries available. There was no line. Service was fast. Options on the menu are plentiful as are the open seating for groups. Grab cookies to go, and a bag of Goosebumps espresso beans roasted fresh. The S'mores latte is a must, as is their hearty Bodega breakfast sandwich. See you again soon Vesta!

I honestly was not expecting much from Aware Coffee. After driving for roughly 5 hours into Vegas,…read moreI searched up "matcha" because I desperately needed something to drink and Aware Coffee was one of the only spots around me that was open. I didn't even bother reading reviews beforehand, I just went and honestly I'm so glad I did because this ended up being one of the biggest surprises of the trip. The parking lot itself was pretty quiet, but there was a steady flow of people going in and out which is usually a good sign. Inside there's plenty of seating and it definitely felt like one of those cafes that could easily become a study/work spotor casual hangout place. I was also really impressed by how big their menu was. They had acai bowls, sandwiches, burritos, toast, milk teas, espresso drinks, and even a jasmine mule that immediately caught my attention. Their mint mojito latte sounded really good too, but I ended up deciding to try a couple drinks from the seasonal menu instead. We got the tiramisu matcha latte and the banana foster latte. The employees were super friendly and checked in to see if we needed help deciding, which honestly felt extra appreciated after being in the car for that long. Our drinks came out pretty quickly and the very first thing I noticed was the cream-to-drink ratio. When I say these drinks were loaded with cream top. I mean loaded. My tiramisu matcha was probably like 20% cream and the banana foster looked almost half cream at first glance. The cream itself is super thick too, not one of those light cold foams that disappears after two sips. But honestly? That tiramisu matcha latte might've just blown a lot of the matcha spots I've tried in San Diego out of the water. The matcha itself was bold, earthy, and very matcha forward, but that thick tiramisu cream on top cut through it perfectly. It made the drink taste rich without becoming overwhelmingly heavy. I literally kept thinking about this drink for the rest of the trip. The banana foster latte was good too, but definitely more of what you'd expect flavor wise. Caramel banana vibes, smooth espresso, solid overall, but the tiramisu matcha completely stole the spotlight for me. My only complaint is honestly just how thick the cream tops are. They're so dense that you kind of have to stir everything together. I'm usually someone who likes to sip both the foam and drink together at the same time, but that wasn't really possible here because the cream barely moves. Still delicious though. I genuinely wish I grabbed another drink on the drive back home because I have not stopped thinking about that tiramisu matcha since. Next time I'm back in Vegas, this is absolutely a spot I'm returning to.
