From the moment I walked in it was great. Very clean, staff were very courteous. I got in quickly even though they were busy. Her plan - our plan- is realistic not overboard. Since my…read moreinitial visit, we have continued to use Settlers Vet for our doggie doctor needs and are always satisfied with our care. The fur baby I spoke about in my initial review, as since passed away. It was a very difficult decision for me and Dr Mills and his staff where very empathetic and compassionate during the whole experience. Since that time, we have brought a new fur baby into our household and Dr Mills is who we called right away. We purchased the new dog from a breeder and so we wanted to have a check-up done right away to make sure there was nothing out of the ordinary discovered. All went well, he answered questions we had specific about the breed and has been our go-to for annual check-ups ever since. Still the great quality of care and friendly staff from 6 years prior.

We were able to carry him in on his own bedding, which he stayed on until the end. We were given all the time we needed to privately say good-bye. We were given water, tissues, and comfort. They even offered the option of leaving out the side door if we didn't want to be emotional in front of people in the waiting room. A couple weeks later, we received a beautiful copy of the "Rainbow Bridge" poem with our dog's paw print on it. The entire staff signed a hand-made card offering their condolences. When I came back to pick up his ashes, the staff once again gave such heartfelt condolences. I wasn't just a number, and it showed!

I have been bringing my 2 dogs here for the past year+ for old dog reasons. Everything was good and…read morenice. I recently got a kitten who had worms and no other issues. I brought him in on 7/11 got his worms cleared up. Was charged $120ish. After that my kitten who is strictly indoors only developed a URI ( upper respiratory infection) I can only think he got it from there. When I realized it wasn't getting better I brought him in on 7/21.....only 10 days later. I brought in my kitten and he was prescribed meds. The tech came in and said it was $105.... Another $100 10 day later. Due to a "progress" fee. Soo the original physical was $90 and the progress was $80. I asked for some leniency because it had only been a week and a half since I was there last. The tech said she talked to my original doctor and another who said no.... I don't see how is this fair. I'd even be ok with a discounted progress fee, but the full amount is a bit much to me for it only being 10 days later. I will be bringing any future issues I have with my other animals somewhere else.

We first visited over a year again on recommendation of Critter Clinic for teeth cleaning for Scamp. He was very thorough in explaining cat's mouth and teeth, which 3 others clinics had neglected to provide. The other places only said he needed cleaning but not why. My cat wasn't the easiest to handle but they did a great job. Surgery went well and Dr Smith followed up. We returned a year later when my cat was failing, Dr Smith and staff were great with explaining and treatment. Scamp improved but then he as failing again and we chose to put our beloved kitty to sleep after much agony. Pawspital once again were the best comfort and care for my pet and me. I can't thank them enough.

She is a 90 pound 1.5 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback.. Pawspital not only charged less for Cytopoint than other vets in the area but I love the fact that they are very new. Newer vet offices tend to be clean and tidy, have great fresh staff and a Vet who is very excited about their work. And Pawspital was all of those things for us today. Great and helpful staff! They got us on the books the next day. I didn't have to wait after my appointment time. Dr. Smith is very kind, has great people skills and I can tell he really cares by the questions he asks and the time that he takes with you. Thank you Pawspital Animal Hospital and Dr. Smith!
