Andrew came out to give a quote for installing 2 new toilets. He showed up on time (2 hour window, not a 4 hour window!), was super friendly and explained the scope of the job well. After we purchased the toilets, we scheduled an appt. & again Andrew showed up exactly on time, did a great job, was very clean & neat - removed the old toilets and not a drop of water anywhere. Contacted Vets 4 You via email. They called me via phone next day. Came out to give estimate same day. Replacing back wood patio with concrete patio & needed plumbing estimate & advice for future outdoor bbq, kitchen island with natural gas, water, sewer (and electric, but contacted different company for that). Wanted to run lines, pipes, etc now before pad was poured. Hanna wanted $105 estimate deposit up front. If Hanna didn't get the job, they keep the $$$. If Hanna would have done the work, the deposit was rolled into the total cost. Vets 4 You gave free estimate. Andrew gave me lots of options on estimate ranging from me purchasing material & doing the digging myself to Vets 4 You doing entire job. Bottom line, Vets 4 You will get my business. I told them my issue on Saturday and they informed me that they would get back to me on Monday to see when they could get out. Jim was just here to check my HVAC system. I thought my vents and ducts might have some problems, but he actually checked the whole house, advised me on how to USE the system...leave fan on auto and air will tell it when to turn on!....what size filter to use, the different kinds of vents that would improve my system. He charged me nothing for all this valuable info, but is giving me an estimate to change out some vents and use a different filter. I was so pleased. He is knowledgeable, polite, personable. It was a delight having him in my home, the system is working better than ever. I want to share with you, what I feel was exceptional service from Vets 4 You Plumbing Heating and Air. Without going into details, I have a long history of dealing with remodeling contractors. I needed a new dishwasher installed and I assumed by the corrosion, I would need a new water line. I called 3 companies for a in home consultation /quote. Vet 4 You was not the cheapest, nor the highest but their customer service was exceptional from the moment I called to schedule a quote, to each of the techs that came out. The first person, Rod, I met with was for the consultation. He called ahead to confirm and was on time. He looked over everything in great detail, even checking to see where the main shut off valve to the building was and letting me know I was required to give my neighbors a 48 hour notice of a water shut off. The other two companies that came out - one very well known, never spent that much time looking at the issue, nor mentioned the possibility of having to turn the water off to the building. The second person from Vets 4 You Plumbing , Jim, came out to do the actual work the following Monday and was just as professional, on time and courteous as the first. He even called in route to confirm. He was also very mindful of my floors while getting dishwashers in and out of the kitchen and through the living room. Even getting down on all floors to wipe up a little trail of water he saw from the old dishwasher. More importantly, these guys never tried to upsell me, or chat me up. If I could a zero star i would. I don't know what happened. We have used them before with no problems for about 2 years now. The were going to come out and do a hydro flush ( which they probably shouldn't have recommended because our pipes are so old). Found that out later. They were going to Install 2 toilets and a dishwasher as well. They showed up and immediately had to go to lowes to get a part. We called their office previously to let know about part and the girl in office said she would let guys know before coming out. Guess she did not. The job took all day. And at the of the day there was a clog they couldn't figure out, so they said they would call their boss and proceeded to leave. The workers said their boss would have to come evaluate the situation. Meanwhile we still have no working toilets or dishwasher. The boss called us said he would refer us to his sister company because he was busy, but promised us he would not leave us hanging. Meanwhile my husband I (btw my husband is a vet. Retired navy chief) were left with no working toilets. No septic. We were pooping in a darn bucket! That meant no usable dishwasher. Any water we used we had empty out into garage sink. During a pandemic! We never got a call back from the boss. I reached out to another plumber. Like I said used to like them but the way they treated us was inexcusable. read more

Called Vets 4 You because first option did not even bother to call back after leaving a message on 2 separate days. I called late on Monday and not only had one person call me back but 2. I had an issue with roots growing into my pipes and clogging the drain in several places. The original Plumber I called told me I would need to pull up some concrete and dig down 6 feet to repair the problem at $2,400 or do a minimum repair for $850. This didn't sound right to me so I called Vets 4 you Plumbing and they were able to snake the whole drain line and remove the roots at just over 1/2 the cost. They explained in detail where the clogs were along the drain pipes and showed me the problem areas with their camera. The crew was honest, polite and explained everything in detail. Jim and Andrew are excellent. I had a water leak in my house a few months ago on a Saturday. After fixing the leak, they gave me their opinion about the rest of the area that was opened up in the room. The look of the house builder plumber quality of work and VETS4U plumbing work is night and day. Jim's crew was Andrew and on other guy. These guys are meticulous and very attn to detail oriented. Work was very clean and did not have excess sodier or flux. Very clean finish. It was a pleasure to meet these men and have them do repairs at my house. Today, Another (Saturday) I was in the kitchen running hot water and heard a pop and then the water shut off and started leaking from under the kitchen cabinets and also out side from the stucco. I called VETS4U. Andrew answered the phone and said he could be at my house in 30 mins. He did mention that the price would be much higher due to it was the weekend. Andrew walked me thru steps to shut off only hot water and wait till Monday to save me quite a bit of money but I could not isolate the water and could not have no water for the rest of the weekend. Andrew was at my house in no time and started using many methods to test the location of the leak. Instead of tearing thru my cabinets to get to the leak, Andrew was able to get to the source of the leak by cutting a small square of stucco. Come to find out that the original work that was done came apart. The copper tubing was not even seated into the 90 degree before a very small bead of sodier used. House builders go with the lowest bidder to do work and it showed twice now in the quality of plumbing in my house. Andrew finished the repair and cleaned up any mess that was made. Always polite and professional. Maybe that's one of the reasons that Jim and Keith hire VETS to their team. Great group of guys and a military discount.
