Had an entire HVAC system installed when our 50 year old gas heater finally gave up the ghost. I knew this business was going to do well for me because they bought the business from our plumber of 25 years who actually vetted them before he sold them his business! But my expectations were totally exceeded. When Keith and Mike came out to look at the old heater and give me a quote for a new one, they were both professional, willing to answer any and all questions honestly, and fully explain the work that needed doing. They also explained how they were all vets and enjoyed volunteering their time and some of their profits to various veterans organizations. I was so impressed by this and also felt sure this was an honest operation. These men are to be trusted, they're full of integrity. It took 3 days to get the job done--these guys were working with intense concentration to get us back in heat (and install AC as well) as quickly as they could. They covered the floors with plastic and did a fantastic job of clean up when they were done. They were all so polite and professional. I was extremely impressed. I highly recommend Vets 4 You. Personally, I won't call anyone else if I have a plumbing or heating/AC problem. When your water heater decides to retire, you have 3 women in the house, and it is Sunday evening you have a problem. Received a call back within 1 hour, it was decided to wait until Monday morning to start the process. Manager showed up before 10am, went through the entire house, checked every valve, pressure regulator and of course the retired water heater. When the handle comes off a water valve under a sink, you have a situation that can cause a major problem in the future. We decided to have all the valves and the Water heater replaced, how soon, same day!! Three plumbers show up at 2 PM to complete all the work, fired up the water heater, cleaned up all the areas and were headed home before 7 PM. I had an HVAC systems installed in my house last year and have been obtaining estimates for the house I am buying this year. I arranged for Keith to meet me at the property one morning. After ensuring to have he house open and coordinating the morning off from work, my real estate agent and I waited there at the agreed upon time. He stood us up. After an hour I finally was able to reach him and he "had forgot... [and] was already in San Diego on another job." So we aimed for the next day. He arrived early the next day and began the estimate; even did a little extra by pressure testing the plumbing system. I am grateful. After the estimate he expected a check for almost $200. Given that I had five A/C estimates over the last year, all free in hopes of winning the bid, it was unexpected. Mainly since there had been no notice of this charge prior to that moment. He unhappily waived the fee. When leaving he promised the estimate within 24hours. It is two weeks later and I am still waiting. Everyone I spoke to at his company, including him, seemed very helpful and respectable. I do not understand the shortfall in service. I would not waste your time with this company; they seem to have no problem treating it as waste. read more

I had him replace the guts on both toilets, replace shower knob & manifold, non working on/off water line to master bath, and replace rusted drain on bathtub, tub drain pop up. I had a main drain leak, they were able to come the same day. Their price was expensive. My neighbor had the same leak on the same day, they used another vendor & it was 200$ cheaper. Mine has 2 year warranty on their work & my neighbor only has a 2 weeks warranty. So far it has been over 2 months & both my neighbor & I had no recurring problem. The guys explained everything in full & detail, they seems honest & I supported Vet businesses. They said they used coper pipe ( not sure what my neighbor had, don't like him so I don't ask) over all they did a great job, fast same day service, polite & every knowledgeable folks. These guys performed a "connect and disconnect" service for us to facilitate the installation of new countertops throughout our house (kitchen and 3 bathrooms); Robbie, Eddie, & Dean were the nicest and sweetest guys, and so excellent at their craft, that I was never nervous about any of it. The Technician came out right away for repair of a water shut off valve. He was clean, polite, efficient, and very fair on price. I had a major leak in my upstairs master bath which unfortunately soaked all the way down into the wood floor by the time the leak was visible. I called my home warranty who dispatched a plumber in the morning that promptly did not fix anything and left because the warranty company wouldn't authorize the repair. Anyways my water is now shut off and then i try and callback and get no answer. So I scoured yelp for plumbers and no one either called back or was available to do emergency repairs. Vets 4 You was onsite within an hour of my call, had diagnosed the leak using a leak test and then fixed the pipe for cheap. Awesome job. Plus these guys donate to vets from each sale so thats a really awesome thing they do. I would recommend and intend to use them again for more needed repairs. read more

Excellent service! Here we are in the middle of COVID19 and we have a slab leak! We were fortunate to have found Rod from VETS 4 YOU PLUMBING. He came out right away. I did my research on slab leak repair. It was clearly evident that Rod's knowledge of plumbing repair is extensive. Rod assessed the problem. We had to have the plumbing re-routed. For some time my husband and I had been discussing the replacement of the hot water heater. It was over 12 years old. The shut off valve was frozen. Rod not only replaced our hot water heater he also reconfigured the pipes that were a mess (from a previous plumbing job when we moved the washer to the garage). While he was here he also replaced a part of the pipe for an outdoor water spigot that was a mess of pipe and plastic. Rod is the kind of person who believes in doing things correctly. Robert and Keith just left my house and I'm truly amazed with their work. I had called several plumbers regarding issues with my garbage disposal. This company is amazing! Robert came over to give us a quote to have washer and dryer hookups installed. He was VERY thorough and even crawled under our house to find out that the room we wanted it in was an add-on and was sitting on slab. He ended up finding room to run water and gas lines around the slab so we could still have our hookups installed in that room. I was always able to get ahold of him any time I called him with questions prior to the installation date and he also called me to let me know what time he would be at my house the morning of. The entire team was VERY friendly and professional. The quote was about $600 less than another company gave me and that was before adding the gas line installation quote! We probably saved over $1000 with them. The whole team worked hard all day to get it done in one day. Their work was beautiful. We are getting drywall over the hole they had to make to install all the pipes, but it looked so good, we could have just left it :) This was my first experience with a plumber, but I will be a customer for as life!
