Great pizza spot located in Paso Market Walk. We came in on a Friday evening and ordered some pizzas to enjoy outside. The Market Walk had live music which made the dining experience that much better. Two of us got the margherita and the Nduja pizzas to share. While both pizzas were quite good, the margherita was the winner for both of us. The crust on the Nduja reigned superior though, as it stayed nice and crispy for the whole meal. We ordered our pizzas inside and were given a number. Let them know we'd be on the patio and they came to drop them off when they were ready. They came out hot and fresh after about 15 minutes. Would definitely come back here, especially on a nice night when the market has music outside! read more

Located Mid Spring Street, at the New Market Place, is Via Caravaggio. This section is dedicated to a Napoletana Bar. It's very good, but also very pricey. The service with a smile and you are greeted. I ordered the Margherita DOP. This is 00 flour, tomatoes from Italy, EVOO of good quality and added buffalo mutz with fresh basil. Fresh and Vibrant are what hit you! First thing is the fresh made, chewy, slightly chard, bite of dough. Vibrant volcanic tomatoes. First time in Paso Robles area and found this cute little spot on Yelp! It's located inside the Paso market walk and has very limited seating if you're trying to stay indoors but cute ample seating outside if it's not too hot out! We got the prosciutto fig pizza with a burrata ball and a sausage pepperoni, which was nothing too crazy. The prosciutto fig really stole the show, being so mouthwateringly good with the balance of sweet and savory! I liked that the fig was incorporated into the pizza and not just freshly cut as a topping and the burrata ball really made pizza extra special! Great pizza in Paso at a casual spot with indoor and outdoor seating. My husband and I ordered two pizzas - a margherita and a white one with rosemary and pistachio. Both were very good, great crust and perfectly prepared. We also got an arugula salad as it's always the perfect side with pizza. They used wild arugula which was tossed with a lemon dressing, parmesan and pine nuts. Simple yet tasty. Pizzas aren't huge but didn't want to stuff ourselves full with both pizzas even though we could have. Instead opted for some leftovers. Service was fast, sat outside b/c we had our dog and everyone was so kind to her. They brought out water and she got plenty of love from the staff. We attended an event at the Blending Lab and wanted to grab a bite. We decided to grab a couple pizzas and dessert at Via Caravaggio. The staff were amazing. So nice and helpful. Our food came out very very fast. We did not have to wait long at all. We have been here before when they first opened and decided to try it again. I ordered the pepperoni and sausage with hot honey. They definitely use quality ingredients. The dough is made with 00 flour. It is cooked all the way through and has the right texture. It a perfect mix of thin with fluffy crust. My pizza had a great amount of spice to it. I don't know if it was the hot honey or the pepperoni and sausage. I also ordered the cannoli. It was very good. A great mix of sweet and savory. Overall the food was very good, but I feel that it is overpriced. We ordered two pizza's that are "personal sized" and a cannoli for $70. I understand $50-$55 but $70 for two small pizzas and a cannoli is too much. I would be here all the time if it wasn't for how pricy it is. Great food and great service. read more

Via Caravaggio is an authentic Italian pizza place you'll never want to miss out on. Their pizzas were divine to say the least. The cheese was so so good it melts in your mouth and makes you want more! The service was also really good and fast! We didn't make a reservation but were lucky enough to have been seated inside as the weather was really hot that day. We got the Margherita D.O.P. and the 'Nduju Di Calabria! First time eating at Via Caravaggio 147. The space was really charming even though it was tucked in a dining hall with other restaurants. The pizzas we ordered came out quickly. They were beautiful with a perfect balance of sauce, cheese, and crispy crust. We paired a delicious glass of Epoch Grenache with our pizzas which rounded out the meal. Would have ordered another pizza after devouring the first, but they were closing soon. The service was excellent from check in through ordering through conclusion of our meal. Our waitress was extremely friendly and we enjoyed the conversation with her. The owners also spent some time talking with us after the meal to ensure the experience was positive and sharing some of the story of their establishing the pizzeria. Can't wait to return. Best pizza I've ever had! Every single time it's the same amazing quality. Haven't tried a pie I didn't like. Tonight I ordered to go and the pizza had to wait for it maybe 2-3mins once I arrived. Great traditional Italian pizzas. The dough is amazing and they have a great menu to appease Italian food lovers. The Caesar salad and caprese stack were great starters, we ordered the Margherita pizza and the mushroom pizza to try a red & white sauce. Both pizzas were great and we even tried some desserts, the gelato espressos were amazing (I recommend the vanilla one) and we tried a half pistachio half Nutella twist. 5 Stars - A Must-Visit Every Time We're in Paso! We had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at Via Caravaggio 147. We tried the Margherita Pizza, which was simply delicious--the sauce was to die for! The Caprese Stack was just as mouthwatering, perfectly fresh, and flavorful. And of course, we couldn't resist the Cannoli, which was another highlight and one more reason to come back every time we visit Paso. We were fortunate enough to meet Kathryn, one of the owners, when we arrived. She was so warm and welcoming that by the time we left, it felt like we were leaving old friends. It was truly heartwarming to learn that both Kathryn and her husband are doctors, with Kathryn still working at the hospital on her days off. We are in awe of this amazing Doctor Duo, and Paso Robles is truly lucky to have them. Our waitress and the entire VC147 team are spectacular thank you for a great dining experience! Absolutely the BEST pizza we've had in a long time. So good that after three pizzas ( each different and each great!!!) wanted more. Great crust, plenty of cheese lots of flavor! Creative and great choices for pizza - we love the apple gorgonzola pizza and green goddess salad. Whether you are a meat lover or vegetarian, there are so many great choices. This place is a must try. Pat the manager has toured Naples Italy and brought it to Paso Robles. He ships in Italian made ingredients every week and uses the cleanest ingredients to choose from. The pizza is absolutely WOW worthy and absolutely the top pizza place in town. The restaurant is packed and has a great atmosphere to dine and meet friends. After I finished eating my pizza here tonight, I immediately called my Italian grandmother and told her to retire her apron. I told her I found the place that made a better pizza than she did. She's a tough old bird, she'll move on. Tonight's pizza was perfectly cooked, nice and thin. The tomato sauce...I could drink A GLASS of that by itself.... And the cheese.
