I've been coming to Victoria Pastry for more than 30 years. I had wedding cupcakes designed and made here before cupcakes for weddings were even a popular thing. This is a beautiful old fashion bakery with the Italian flare that makes it even more special. It's hard to decide what to get so pick out something to enjoy on the sidewalk with coffee and take several things home. We are so lucky to have this special bakery part of San Francisco.

After dinner, we were in the mood for dessert and came across this bakery in North Beach. It was our first time visiting, and we were pleasantly surprised. The bakery is small, very clean, with a couple of tables inside and some seating outside. The customer service was great--staff were friendly and took the time to answer all of our questions. They offer a wide variety of baked goods, ranging from cakes to Italian pastries. I ordered a slice of carrot cake, an assortment of tea cookies, and an almond tart slice. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. We were very pleased with our choices, and I'll definitely stop by again the next time I'm in North Beach.

So good!! We tried the princess slice and the tres leches. Both were delicious. Princess cake was def a lil too sweet and I would never be able to finish a whole slice myself, but worth getting. Tres leches was perfect though. Not too sweet and melt in your mouth. Small shop, very limited seating, but great location for people watching.

What's an Italian district without an authentic Italian Bakery? Established in 1914, just eight years after the Great 1906 San Francisco Earthquake, Victoria Pastry has been around for 111 years in North Beach. We come here for the tasty selection of Italian cookies that they sell by the pound.. mix and match.. Our favorites include Allumette Raspberry, mini Palmiers, crunchy sprinkle cookies and especially the Amaretti (almond macaron) and Pignole (Amaretti's with whole Pine nut toppings). Get maybe 4-6 of each and you'll have a pounds worth to take home in a tidy bakery box in no time! They pack the cookies in groups carefully separated by bakery paper (caution - the raspberry cookies stick to this, so transfer to a cookie container as soon as you get home!). We've come here for years, even back when they were in their old location on Stockton St. The prices seem pretty reasonable for the cookies, at least compared to what we've seen elsewhere, yet the quality is easily comparable or better.. The service is friendly and cheerful, and the vibe is classic old school as if this was in NYC or somewhere! There's tables and chairs just outside to enjoy your treats, or head on over to Washington Park to the park benches if the weather allows! Needless to say, Victoria Pastry Company is our go-to Italian bakery here in North Beach. We love coming here.

Beautiful local bakery in North Beach. Fast, friendly, and fresh. If you want a light breakfast or have a sweet tooth, this is the place for you. For the win: Try their conchas or blueberry scones

Washington Square (not the one in NYC) is a gathering place for locals and tourist to go congregate in San Francisco in North Beach since 1847. The park is a destination for art work, events, festivals, picnics , or just enjoy a beverage and food or just waiting for a table at Tony's Pizzeria on a busy weekend. A stone throw away there is a place to get an eclair that's whipped and a place where outside coffee is sipped. Here you can enjoy breakfast bagels, cheesecakes, coffee and very delicious varieties of pastries. Victoria has been around in San Francisco and serving pastries at North Beach since 1914. I had their strawberry shortcake cake slice and it was so tasty and not too sweet. This is a good place to grab a pastry and enjoy it al fresco at Victoria or take it across the street at the park in Washington Square. Go on a Summer stroll and feel it in the air especially if you around in San Francisco's historic park Washington Square The summertime in San Francisco will get you whipped like an eclair so grab a sweet slice of San Francisco and enjoy it anywhere

I have always loved this place since I switched from Mara's Italian Pastry. I entered there by myself and got the stink eye. Here I was welcomed, not to mention price is cheaper for the same quality of pastry. Quality of service- A+++ Quality of food: A + Price: $-$$

All I have to say is: Best. Tiramisu. In. SF. This cute, small pastry shop is the perfect stop for dessert. By dessert I specifically mean the tiramisu.

Plate that contained a delicious napoleon and an empty cup that once had a wonderful cappuccino.

This says it all! My Napoleon was fresh and my cappuccino was well made. I think I have a new haunt when visiting this lovely city.

I don't even LIKE cheesecake but that discord cheesecake was insane. Truffle chocolate cake was a close second.

Good coffee and vibes! Think the pastries are a bit of a mixed bag. Probably better for certain things here vs others. Cream puffs were just ok

DO NOT PAY FOR DELIVERY…read more We paid extra to have our order delivered to our hotel and used the restaurant's order-ahead option. We scheduled the delivery for 9:20 a.m., but by 8:40 a.m. the app showed it had already been delivered. The problem? There was no food at our hotel room. I tried contacting the delivery driver by text, but never received a response. It was incredibly frustrating, especially after leaving a generous tip. We later found out the driver had left the food at the hotel but never told the front desk which room it was for, even though they had all of the delivery information. As a result, our food just sat there until we eventually had to go down and get it ourselves. In the end, I paid for a delivery service that I never actually received. Instead of enjoying the convenience we paid for, we had to track down our own order. Based on this experience, I would not recommend paying for delivery. If you're ordering from this restaurant, save your money and pick it up yourself. I paid for a service, but I did not receive what I paid for. Then to make it worse the breakfast sandwich was just OK. Nothing to write home to mom about. To say the least we will not be ordering her again and would not recommend this restaurant.

I thought it would be similar to like a Hawaiian style latte with macadamia milk, but it was a lot lighter than I thought. It was definitely very nutty, but it also just tasted like water down latte. Honestly not much going on with the drink, but it does taste lighter in general. Crazy have to pay $1.50 more to add on this milk. Overall, its alright. I do like the natural lighting coming into the shop, but nothing too special.

Both locations have limited seating, though the Nob Hill location does offer a small outdoor high-top table where you can stand and enjoy your coffee. Every location I've visited has also had a line, but honestly, the service is so efficient that the wait never feels too bad. When you walk in, the ordering process is somewhat similar to Philz. You place your order with the barista who starts your drink, it gets passed down the line for preparation, and you pay at the register at the end. While you're there, you can also decide whether you'd like to grab a sweet treat to go along with your daily dose of caffeine. The coffee here is strong and bold without being bitter. Everything I've tried has been incredibly smooth. While my most recent visit was for one of their coffee flights--something I'd been wanting to try for a while--I usually stick to their cocoa cappuccino, which is small but mighty and finished with a sprinkle of cocoa, or simply a classic drip coffee. If you're looking for elaborate latte flavors and seasonal creations, this probably isn't the spot for you. But if you want a coffee that will truly wake you up and you enjoy exploring the natural flavor profiles of coffee beans, Coffee Movement is absolutely worth checking out.
