Soooo yummy with amazing service. Even at noon there were yummy options. Love that they had so many savory pastry options too. We love our SF staycations at the Hyatt and this place is directly below along with Rosalind's, which was more of a miss from taste and service pov but that's another review I decided not to leave. Our kids LOVED the spinach, feta and cream pastry, which is amazing since they get some greens in :-) we also go the ham and cheese, baked egg, apple pastry and the veggie croissant. They're all amazing! Also tried a vanilla latte -- they make their own vanilla syrup! Will definitely be back!

stopped by Boho Petite yesterday and i'm already planning my next visit!! this cute little grab and go spot is close to my work which is dangerous! i was walking by and saw so many pretty pastries and the Madagascar vanilla flan caught my eye. It's more like a pie with a buttery crust and not overly sweet which is exactly how i like my desserts. the packaging alone made it feel special Malcolm, the co-owner, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. he took time to chat with me about the shop and mentioned they have a flagship location in the Marina. you can tell he has serious culinary experience and is passionate about what he does. everything is baked fresh every morning which is a plus. i already have my eye on the blueberry roll for next time and a huge chocolate chip cookie that was only $4! can't wait to go back and work my way through the menu!!

Wow, this was such an amazing spot. Stopped by for a day in San Francisco before going to Europe…read more Heard all the hype about this spot so I had to drop by. We waited about an hour on a Friday morning. On to the baked goods, it was some of the best bakery goods I've tried ever. Everything was delicious in every way. My favorite had to be the coffee cake, the elote corn, and the Lorraine. Wow, so damn good. I know their menu changes, but it's a must try as their base dough for all their items are PERFECT. Each bite is amazing with such a crunch. Their corn latte was also super delicious.

After hearing all the hype and braving a near 2 HOUR wait in line....sorry, it wasn't quite up to…read morepar for me. There are better bakeries for lower effort. Let's start with the good. The namesake Pistachio Cardamom croissant was excellent for a filled croissant. It had excellent layers and the cream was just enough to add a lusciousness to each bite that wasn't too heavy. The madame lorraine was my other favorite. It was meaty and rich with the soft baked runny yolk and the light touch of rosemary was just enough to accentuate the bite. The not as good...a standard butter croissant. Maybe we got a dud but there was a serious lack of layers in ours and it wasn't as crisp or as buttery as I like. The elote corn croquiche filling was also quite salty which was a shame because the pastry layer was pretty good. I still have two more pastries to try but given the weight and the mixed bag, I definitely expected a lot more from Butter & Crumble. Pro tip: get a butter croissant at Arsicault, walk to B Patisserie and get a kouign amann. You'll have both before the line moves here.

This is my favorite cake shop in the area and should be the bar for cakes everywhere…read more The buttercream on the cake is the best. It's soooooooooooooooo smooth and buttery. I would eat the cream by itself if they sold it that way. Good thing I don't live nearby. I saw one review say that some of their chocolate flavor or cookie flavors weren't as good, which I understand. I had a cookie cake and didn't taste the smooth, buttery taste I was looking for. I highly recommend cakes that let their vanilla frosting shine without mixing too many flavors. Flavors: - Raspberry & lychee was amazing - Key lime was a little too tart for my tastes, but I still loved the buttercream - Cookie was just ok

Super elegant cakes! They look to be those that are super custom, but really glad that you can just…read moreorder and pick up these cakes. A cousin has brought over cakes from Butter& on numerous occasions, and they've been a hit each time. Beautifully crafted with the outside layers so you can see both the cake and frosting layers. I absolutely love the unique-esque of flavors here. The first cake I tried from Butter& was their brown butter lemon cake. It was a bit too sweet for my liking, but love the sound of that flavor combination. It was great texturally. The second one I tried was their lychee raspberry. Wow, they really get that lychee flavor super well there! Very impressed. This one was more to my liking, and it was as equally as beautiful as the first one. Disclaimer that I haven't been to the actual store, but heard great things re service and the atmosphere. I bet it smells amazing in there. Someday I'll make a visit, but for now, keep the cakes coming! YUM!

We love food and were so happy to be able to work with Liz on our wedding cake. It was easy to…read moreorder the tasting, easy to order the actual cake, and even easier to show up to our event with the cake already delivered. Every single asian female at my wedding said it was "Not to sweet!" which is THE highest compliment one could give a dessert. So many people came up to us saying "this is the first wedding cake I've ever liked" or "I don't like cake at all but what an interesting flavor combo." I had a crazy idea at one point to bake my own cake, but I am SO GLAD that everyone talked me out of it because I could never bake a cake as delicious as Liz and if I had done it, I would've never gotten to meet this incredible artist.

I am always a sucker for an aesthetically pleasing cake while still delicious! My family and I have…read morehad our fair share of yummy cakes in the Bay Area and I'm so glad we came across Sincerely Meraki! I actually found this place from Michelle aka @sfcheatdays, as she posted the cake for her bday! Ordering online was quick and easy and Liz will confirm your order within the next 24 hours. Once my order was confirmed, she included her address and very detailed description of where to stop on her busy street in SF. I actually had to make a change in pickup date and time and Liz was very accommodating! I had requested silver font instead of gold and she was very detail oriented asking if I wanted the topper to be coated in silver as well, since it was usually coated in gold. I appreciate she took the time to ask vs. just doing silver font and gold coating. Pickup was so easy, even though it was a busy day. She dropped off the cake on the floor of my front seat to make sure it was stable as well. Onto the taste of the cake! I ordered the Earl grey with brown sugar icing and it was soooo good! Tasted like a boba milk tea hehe! You need to take the cake out of the fridge at least 2 hours in advance of serving and we did just that. The cake was still a little chilled but so moist and fresh! We were so full after our dinner so we had so much cake left. We followed the instructions to wrap in Saran Wrap and we had delicious cake the next couple days! Also I'm so happy to be supporting an Asian AND woman-owned business in the Bay Area! I highly recommend Liz and her cakes and her customer service is on point! So glad I stumbled across her and can't wait to order more cakes from her in the future!!
